How to Use

Use your fingers to apply, gently scrubbing onto lips in soft, circular motions to buff away dead skin cells. Then, wipe the formula off with a damp cloth to reveal your smoothest pout ever.

Tarteist tip: This treatment can also be used to prime lips for the perfect lipstick application & help increase its staying power. It can also be used to remove longwearing matte or liquid lipstick formulas.

But scooping some out with the tip of the nail works great. Also, only a small amount of product is needed per use. Initially, when dipping into the product it was smooth, but after breaking through the top layer of the product, it has exfoliating beads (translucent). Once it is applied to the lips it does feel great, and it provides a very minimal amount of a tingling sensation, and cooling. Nothing to be alarmed about, nor does it add any discomfort to the process. It does work as a lip primer, however I would recommend gently swiping off the exfoliating beads. This product is also great for removing hard to remove lip products. It does have a slight minty scent, and has a hint of a sweet taste, nothing overwhelming. The product is clear, and leaves the lips felling soft, and clean. I love it and would recommend to anyone that is searching for a gentle, but effective lip exfoliate. Long story short, at 27 years old I am having the worst breakout. I felt like the exfoliate was greasy when I used it but I was being dumb and didn't wash it off.
