Most Helpful Positive Review Scandolous
I bought Scadolous, its between a magenta and red. I like the application, with the brush to feather out tge color. The pigment is really good and will stay on for a couple hours, wearing off, pretty evenly as time goes on. It just starts to fade, in a nice way. As with most lip productd, you will havd to reapplh after a meal. Not much transfer to glass either. Its minimal. I like the formula as its more of a semi matt formula. It didn't seem drying to me. Fairly comfortable wear. I love pencil lipsticks so, I could go on and on. I havent sharpened mine yet, as, I haven't needed to and have used it about 6 times. I could use it another 10 times before it needs sharpened. All in all, these Buxom Duel End lip and brush pencil set is a good bargain. Im back to purchase another color.
Most Helpful Critical Review Nyet to White Russian
I have four of the Buxom Plumpline Lip Liners. This White Russian one is a big ole PASS. Chalky, patchy, and drying.

I was waiting for this sale in order to get a rose and a red and low and behold , they are sold out. HOW DOES ALMOST EVERY COLOR SELL OUT ON THE DAY OF THE SALE!!!! These liners/lipcolors are my absolute favorite. They wear well and last a good amount of time. Ulta , I go to you because of the sales but this is extremely frustrating. If, this is how your sales are going to go I'll just go back to the other company S and just purchase my shampoo and conditioner from you all. I'm so frustrated right now!!!!! For the product I'll give a 4 star but Ulta , you get a 1 .
Favorites are HushHush and Dolly Danger

I have lips on the thinner side and discovered these maybe 5 years ago? I love them. The best way I found is to use a good sharpener and keep the end pointed although I've still had good results without sharpening for every use. I overdraw are the Cupid's bow and middle of lower lip. Then I take the lip brush end and lightly blend towards the middle, some times adding a bit if I need more coverage. These work great with lip gloss, lipstick, or alone and pretty much stay put. I wear a mask at work all day (always have not just during Coronatime) and this is awesome. I still wear it even though it's masks everywhere these days. I don't feel put together without lips. I think it's easier to use these lip liners than most others. They're soft and creamy but not too soft. You can use the point to outline, then lay the side against the lip to add a heavier line of color making it easier to fill in and blend. I've used at least 7 of the available colors, and my favorites are Dolly Danger, a beautiful dark pink/rose (not bright) and Hush Hush (pinkish brown). Stealth and Incognito are good nudes too. Never stop making these! I've tried many other brands. This is a unique product I highly recommend.
Name is Misleading, but AMAZING Product

Their benefits are distinctly unique compared to traditional lipliners. These are great for shaping the lips and filling them in for a very smoothing, very comfortable, matte look. I have been using these for years now and are part of my rotation of favorite lip colors. Think of these as lip colors that also line your lips, and has the added benefit of giving the appearance of much smoother lips. They apply evenly great pigmentation, and the color lasts very long on your lips. They do not "plump", but make the line of your lips *appear* plumper. Hence the name: plumpline lip liner. The color range is pretty good, and contains cool and warmer undertones, and lighter to darker colors, again, with a great deal of color payoff. I always love to see these on sale, as I get to add a new color to my collection of these. My only criticism is that they call it a "lip liner", as that undermines its overall benefits as a lip color that is used also as a lip liner.

Purchased the Dolly Danger to match the Dolly Dreamer lipstick I got as a free gift. Ended up buying the full lipstick and I love Buxom!
A good solid lip liner

I don't feel or see any plumping, but the liner goes on smooth, the brush is nice for blending and works great as a base for the Buxom gloss! I use Hush Hush under Dolly for a nice nude look. Wishing they would get the Buxom fall glosses in so I can use it with Autumn!
Would not buy again
Liz from Ca
Didn't plump at all, the brush on the other end is really cool, I love the color but for the "plump" I didn't see happen, I can easily buy 5 liners for the price of this one.
I love the color
chriskeene from AZ
I bought this color (Hush Hush) to go with the Buxom new lip cream in Autumn. It's a lovely color for the Fall. I really like Buxom lip liners.

I love the espionage color! It's so pretty on; however, it does transfer a little. Definitely a go to for a night out!
The colors are amazing

I love these liners. I use it all over my lip. Yet again, I am into a matte lip look. They're long lasting and do not dry up you lips. I definitely recommend Hush Hush that's my favorite! I am of medium complexion and this is just my perfect shade.
Love LOVE this

I love the size, the colors offered, the brush applicator you blend the product out. I'm fully in love💕
An upgraded concept of Lip Liners
golabjamun from texas
The lip liners are another level with the brush end adding to its versatility. It can be used to blend all over or mix with other lip shades. I do find them a tad drying which could cause a little more effort to blend given its nature. I got the shades Dolly Danger and Ransom which I like. I want to try Femme Fatale too!
An upgraded concept of Lip Liners

I think the brush on the other end really take the product to the next level. It can be used in conjunction with other products and blended out seamlessly. I will say the product is a little dry and therefore can be more difficult to blend because of its nature. I got the shades Dolly Danger and Ransom and I like them both. Femme Fatale looks like another shade I wouldn't mind in my collection.
Seriously save your money

I've had better liners for this price. I've used Victoria's secret plumping gloss and that works ten times more than this plumper... If it's even working.
The good news is the pencil is quite large you won't miss your face! 😆
I love this product.
Beth from Laguna Niguel
I am a senior, and I love that this is not too dark, but still gives plenty of color to my lips, even if I don't wear lipstick or gloss over it.
Love love love

By far my favorite lip product!
best lip liner
Mandy from Florida
If you are challenged at precisely applying makeup like me, you will love this pencil. It is extremely easy to apply, goes on very smoothly, and is long lasting. It also has a light plumping effect.
I would recommend pairing it with buxom lip creams to maximize the plumping effect!

I love how it looks on me. I look so beautiful.
Heidi from Wisconsin
The concept is cool but the pencil is too dry for my taste. The feathering pencil is very cool though. I am going to guess the pencil might be on the dry side so it stays on the lips longer. Concept is similar to colored pencil shading.

I'm giving this 5 stars because it's a four and a half-star product that I would buy over again. The Plumping? I don't really get that. It's not anything but a name in my opinion. The color wears nicely. The color stays true to itself from the tube to application all the way to wear off. 7 out of 10 for reapplication without awkward build. If you do have to reapply, it's better to wipe it all off and put it on again. Which is no hassle with this product formulation. It does stay on awhile through eating carefully. I wouldn't call it waterproof or kiss proof but neither do they. It doesn't leave a lasting pigment behind the wear off. Which can be a good thing. I can overline with it carefully. It is far better than anything drugstore ever. I do feel like I need to check myself to make sure it's all still there in the right place and didn't smudge off, but 7 out of 10 it is after a couple hours. Please keep in mind that I am comparing this to Charlotte Tilbury and Marc Jacobs and the like. So if you are on the fence about it, try one. I've actually tried two and I went with this color and will repurchase over and over again because it matches my natural lip color pretty well.. the other shade was lighter than my lip color and it seemed like it was very nice and thick . The reason I won't purchase that is because the tone personally didn't flatter me, but that is no fault of the lip liner. So maybe each shade has a different thickness . Both Shades were just fine . It does not always mix well with every lip color. I just fill my lip in with the liner. I would imagine a buxom product would be best. I do have Buxom lip gloss, but I didn't feel like they complemented the liner. Not even the mattegloss. That might just be my opinion. But I didn't feel like they played well together in formulation. I like the buxom Dolly colored lip gloss, which I use with other lipstick. And with these two products in mind, I would be confident to try anything from the Buxom brand.
I will buy more colors
Golden Kiss from Orlando FL
I love this liner it glides on and doesn't do any of that weird skipping stuff with other liners. The tip is soft so you don't feel like you're dragging an actual pencil on your lips. The color pay off is great so you don't have to press hard. I wouldn't call it cinnamon at all definitely pink but with a pinch of brown. Perfect medium pink for a POC
I really liked the brush to be able to blend.
Melissa from Hanover, PA
Easy application. I really liked the brush to be able to blend. I do wish this was self sharpening as well as longer wearing. Otherwise great product!
Hope from Watertown, NY
This is so creamy and pigmented. I wear it on my entire lip and add a gloss. It doesn't last long but the color payoff makes up for it. Not drying either.
Perfect natural color
Michelle from Morristown NJ
I love this pencil. It outlines my lips really well. It's soft and smooth and it's very natural and long lasting. I use it under buxom gloss.
BEHOLD, The Best Multipurpose Lip Pencil Has Arrived💋
Prettyprim4gettheproper from Columbus, Ohio
This is Creme de la Creme of lip pencils! Literally wore it alone and this hush hush tone is like a fleshy pink mauvey nude. I can't really describe it because in person looks different than what I seen depicted on the model with tan skin online but it is even better in person. Goes great with the Buxom Lipglosses all day wear with minimal reapplication and I've even worn it as a full lip and it goes on opaque, great non drying formula and worth every penny for the price. I advise going in store to see what works best as the pictures online do not enough justice for the actual color and product
Buxom lip liner stealth
Dhvh from Bryn Mawr, PA
It's called a lip liner but it's a lipliner and lipstick in one. It's creamy and matte, looks great on. This stealth color for me however didn't look good. I saw it on a fair skin red head/ginger (whatever the appropriate term is) and the color looked gorgeous on her.
