Most Helpful Positive Review Scandolous
I bought Scadolous, its between a magenta and red. I like the application, with the brush to feather out tge color. The pigment is really good and will stay on for a couple hours, wearing off, pretty evenly as time goes on. It just starts to fade, in a nice way. As with most lip productd, you will havd to reapplh after a meal. Not much transfer to glass either. Its minimal. I like the formula as its more of a semi matt formula. It didn't seem drying to me. Fairly comfortable wear. I love pencil lipsticks so, I could go on and on. I havent sharpened mine yet, as, I haven't needed to and have used it about 6 times. I could use it another 10 times before it needs sharpened. All in all, these Buxom Duel End lip and brush pencil set is a good bargain. Im back to purchase another color.
Most Helpful Critical Review Nyet to White Russian
I have four of the Buxom Plumpline Lip Liners. This White Russian one is a big ole PASS. Chalky, patchy, and drying.
Reviewed by 416 customers OK liners, wouldn't repurchase

These liners are... OK. Hush Hush and Incognito are very similar. I bought both in the sale but probably should have just gotten one or the other. The pencils themselves I find to be kind of chalky in application and... taste. I don't find they layer well with other products and tend to get patchy on my lips. I like the blending brush on the end.

I found this to be very and not enhancing at all. The color is odd also.
Chanelnel from Michigan
Got this lip liner and I love it! Color hush hush is a perfect shade!! Only thing is that the liner pencil is longer than most, takes up more room than any typical lip liner.
Don't plump, but still AMAZING!
Kiss from Michigander
I purchased the colors White Russian & Code Red. Code Red looks good, I luv a red lip, although I do prefer a lil more burnt or bluish red hue for my skin tone(not fair, skin tone is light medium in winters months & medium tan in summer....dark hair & dark eyes), not a fan of reds w/orange or pink hues cuz when they wear down they do not compliment my skin(will turn orange-red or straight fuchsia). Code Red doesn't quite wear down orange or fuchsia, but also doesn't give the burnt red color I luv, probably won't wear it on its own, but it does look great as a liner with my burnt red lipsticks, next time I'll get the deeper shade red tho. White Russian appears white on my lips, doesn't give a natural lip look, but will be a great neutral liner for any color of lipstick. Didn't plump at all, but still recommend cuz they r amazing quality(feel good in your hand), stay on longer then any liner I've ever worn, & are HUGE, never seen a lip liner so big, get the amount of 4 normal liners combined in one.
Shade "UNDERCOVER" is more of a dark red color

I thought the "undercover" shade was going to be a dark brown but it's a dark red color but I still like it. And I have Light medium skin l. Shade reference: Mac nc30 , too faced foundation: natural beige
New favorite lip liner
sea from New York, New York
I really enjoy this lip liner because it is so creamy. It looks almost like a liquid lipstick when applied to the lips and it is the only lip liner that I would wear on its own because I have dry lips and lip liners usually look dry on my lips. I have hush hush, covert affair, and dolly danger. I bought covert affair on a whim and it turned out to be my favorite color! It is such a pretty and flattering brick color that isn't too bold but sill looks unique. I also like mixing it with hush hush to tone it down some for an everyday look. dolly danger is probably my least favorite out of the three, but I held onto it because it's a nice basic mauve lip liner.

Didn't like this color at all. Supposed to be plum but more of an orange based color that looked awful on my lips. Disappointing!
i < 3 this lip liner so much!!!
Isabella from San Antonio, TX
i wore a mask for about 4 hours with this lip liner underneath and trust me when i say it's hot in texas, but this lip liner didn't even budge! i was so shocked when i took my mask off in the car! no smearing or smudging!definitely gonna purchase more, and the plumping power is good!

I was waiting for this sale in order to get a rose and a red and low and behold , they are sold out. HOW DOES ALMOST EVERY COLOR SELL OUT ON THE DAY OF THE SALE!!!! These liners/lipcolors are my absolute favorite. They wear well and last a good amount of time. Ulta , I go to you because of the sales but this is extremely frustrating. If, this is how your sales are going to go I'll just go back to the other company S and just purchase my shampoo and conditioner from you all. I'm so frustrated right now!!!!! For the product I'll give a 4 star but Ulta , you get a 1 .
Favorites are HushHush and Dolly Danger
siouxsie50 from Syracuse, NY
I have lips on the thinner side and discovered these maybe 5 years ago? I love them. The best way I found is to use a good sharpener and keep the end pointed although I've still had good results without sharpening for every use. I overdraw are the Cupid's bow and middle of lower lip. Then I take the lip brush end and lightly blend towards the middle, some times adding a bit if I need more coverage. These work great with lip gloss, lipstick, or alone and pretty much stay put. I wear a mask at work all day (always have not just during Coronatime) and this is awesome. I still wear it even though it's masks everywhere these days. I don't feel put together without lips. I think it's easier to use these lip liners than most others. They're soft and creamy but not too soft. You can use the point to outline, then lay the side against the lip to add a heavier line of color making it easier to fill in and blend. I've used at least 7 of the available colors, and my favorites are Dolly Danger, a beautiful dark pink/rose (not bright) and Hush Hush (pinkish brown). Stealth and Incognito are good nudes too. Never stop making these! I've tried many other brands. This is a unique product I highly recommend.
Name is Misleading, but AMAZING Product

Their benefits are distinctly unique compared to traditional lipliners. These are great for shaping the lips and filling them in for a very smoothing, very comfortable, matte look. I have been using these for years now and are part of my rotation of favorite lip colors. Think of these as lip colors that also line your lips, and has the added benefit of giving the appearance of much smoother lips. They apply evenly great pigmentation, and the color lasts very long on your lips. They do not "plump", but make the line of your lips *appear* plumper. Hence the name: plumpline lip liner. The color range is pretty good, and contains cool and warmer undertones, and lighter to darker colors, again, with a great deal of color payoff. I always love to see these on sale, as I get to add a new color to my collection of these. My only criticism is that they call it a "lip liner", as that undermines its overall benefits as a lip color that is used also as a lip liner.

Purchased the Dolly Danger to match the Dolly Dreamer lipstick I got as a free gift. Ended up buying the full lipstick and I love Buxom!
A good solid lip liner
BeccaBee from Houston
I don't feel or see any plumping, but the liner goes on smooth, the brush is nice for blending and works great as a base for the Buxom gloss! I use Hush Hush under Dolly for a nice nude look. Wishing they would get the Buxom fall glosses in so I can use it with Autumn!
Would not buy again
Liz from Ca
Didn't plump at all, the brush on the other end is really cool, I love the color but for the "plump" I didn't see happen, I can easily buy 5 liners for the price of this one.
I love the color
chriskeene from AZ
I bought this color (Hush Hush) to go with the Buxom new lip cream in Autumn. It's a lovely color for the Fall. I really like Buxom lip liners.

I love the espionage color! It's so pretty on; however, it does transfer a little. Definitely a go to for a night out!
The colors are amazing
DeeGee from Los Angeles
I love these liners. I use it all over my lip. Yet again, I am into a matte lip look. They're long lasting and do not dry up you lips. I definitely recommend Hush Hush that's my favorite! I am of medium complexion and this is just my perfect shade.
Love LOVE this

I love the size, the colors offered, the brush applicator you blend the product out. I'm fully in love💕
An upgraded concept of Lip Liners
golabjamun from texas
The lip liners are another level with the brush end adding to its versatility. It can be used to blend all over or mix with other lip shades. I do find them a tad drying which could cause a little more effort to blend given its nature. I got the shades Dolly Danger and Ransom which I like. I want to try Femme Fatale too!
An upgraded concept of Lip Liners
golabjamun from Texas
I think the brush on the other end really take the product to the next level. It can be used in conjunction with other products and blended out seamlessly. I will say the product is a little dry and therefore can be more difficult to blend because of its nature. I got the shades Dolly Danger and Ransom and I like them both. Femme Fatale looks like another shade I wouldn't mind in my collection.
Seriously save your money

I've had better liners for this price. I've used Victoria's secret plumping gloss and that works ten times more than this plumper... If it's even working.
The good news is the pencil is quite large you won't miss your face! 😆
I love this product.
Beth from Laguna Niguel
I am a senior, and I love that this is not too dark, but still gives plenty of color to my lips, even if I don't wear lipstick or gloss over it.

By far my favorite lip product!
best lip liner
Mandy from Florida
If you are challenged at precisely applying makeup like me, you will love this pencil. It is extremely easy to apply, goes on very smoothly, and is long lasting. It also has a light plumping effect.
I would recommend pairing it with buxom lip creams to maximize the plumping effect!

I love how it looks on me. I look so beautiful.
