Most Helpful Positive Review Best Bang For Your Buck I highly recommend Rusk deepshine treatment! The key to this product to really work is to use it on damp hair, evenly coat your hair, and leave it in 20-30 minutes. This gets all the brass out if my hair, and never makes it too ashy or fake-looking. I have naturally blonde hair, with highlights. This takes the cake as I have used other highend expensive brands that don't work nearly as well. Anyone who uses this (if they are looking to eliminate brass) should leave it on for much longer. Worrh every single penny!!
Most Helpful Critical Review I would not buy this item again Used this product after a fresh wash, left it on for 3-5 minutes and then rinsed it out and blowdried. This product did smell great but did not distribute throughout my hair easily. Throughout the day I noticed my hair was very stiff, frizzy, no softer than normal, not as blonde as other treatments I've used. It did not tone my hair at all, no noticeable difference. I will be utilizing Ultas exchange policy to return this item.

Unfortunately- this just didn't do anything. The bottle recommends leaving it on for 3-5 minutes but after reading reviews I left it on for longer (closer to 10 min). Though it felt really moisturizing while on my wet hair, after rinsing and towel drying my hair- my hair felt like it needed to be conditioned again. As far as toning, I used this on unbleached natural blonde hair and it didn't change anything. A fair price, but just doesn't have any pros. If anything, my hair felt drier afterwards.

I love the Rusk brand for adding massive shine to my silver streaked hair. I use the deep purple conditioner once a week and the shine cream every day.

Absolutely amazing. My hair had been in knots no matter what I tried since I bleached it. This is the first product to even make any difference. My hair is better than ever. Even days after use my hair is still silky soft. Plus it tones even better than my three purple shampoos I've purchased (bedhead dumb blonde, John Frieda, and nexus)

Leave on damp hair about 10 minutes while completing shower. Will make you hair very shiny and smooth. Helps tone down brassy tones.

Normally I just buy hair masks because it seems like a thing someone should do. My hair is processed, but fine, thin and soft. Hair masks may or may not do anything.
THIS is what it has been missing! My hair is now as shiny as it was when I was a little kid. It really works and this will likely be a repurchase for me.

First, I love this product. I use Redken for my in shower products, then follow up with this. Next, leave it in a little longer than what the container says. Bump your time up to about 10-15 minutes. If you find you have oily scalp/hair issues, rinse rinse rinse. I personally don't have a problem with oily hair, so I find this product is great for me. I have dry hair, thin, curly, color treated hair and this helps a ton with keeping my hair toned, soft, and manageable.

I have very platinum hair and any sort of color shampoo or conditioner sticks to it and leaves my hair with a blue or purple tint. I have used this mask only once and it was towards the end of my last bleach and tone but it perfectly toned out my hair without sticking to it and making it that awful blue or purple tint. I just got my hair done last week and will try it again and see how it goes with freshly treated hair, but so far I am very happy!

Not a great product. Thought I would try to save money and use this instead of Matix Brass Off which is 10 dollars more. Spend the extra 10$, it's totally worth it.

First of all I don't think you should rely on a single product to maintain platinum or very light blonde hair. This definitely helps with orange tones in my hair without making it drained and colorless or dry, I use it every time I shampoo. I'm subtracting one star because my hair is usually tangled still after I rinse it out no matter how long I leave it on.

My hair was in knots while rinsing this out. I tried timing it for 5 min in my hair the second time around and still had same knotty results.
The regular conditioner is GREAT. This repair was not.

I use this product daily after shampooing with wither Purology or Shimmer Lights. I leave it on for 3-5 minutes, rinse and then blow dry and use heat stylers (flat/curling irons). I have long, thick wavy hair bleach processed hair that is course, damages dry and frizzy. This product delivers!! Making my hair shine like no other, eliminates my frizz and adds softness. I also love how it brightens my dull blonde hair, making it appear it was just highlighted.

Wonderful treatment/conditioner for brightening platinum, and for reference, my hair is curly and coarse and doesn't do well with too much protein in products. I've tried many, many conditioners. This one is tops for sure. Made a huge difference with my hair! Highly recommend.
