Most Helpful Positive Review My take on Red Carpet Manicure I have done my own manicures for a long time. Since my nails are thin and hands are in and out of water a lot, regular nail polish doesn't last more than 3 days w/o chipping. I decided to try RedCarpet gel nails. Well, I will never go back. This lasts a minimum of a week. All that said, there are some tricks. With creme colors, you need 3 coats. Wth glitter colors usually 2. This is just what I've found. Do push back and trim cuticles. You must first sand the top of your nails gently to get good adhesion. Follow all the steps. Clean all lint. Remember thin coats are your friend and apply as close to cuticle as possible. Upon occasion, it will pull away from the sides if you apply too thick. If it gets on your skin, remove before "baking", or it will bake to your cuticle. Try to keep your nails flat so the polish doesn't slide around. I love Blasé Beauty, a pale glitter pink that is sheer and glistens. My nails have never been better or stronger. I wish reviewers would mention the color they review. Makes it easier because the bottles don't always represent the true color.
Most Helpful Critical Review Very thin, requires multiple coats The color is great, but it took minimum 6 coats to get the desired color. The polish is very transparent and does look the same as the bottle when applied. Unfortunately, since I had to apply so many coats layers to get the color I wanted, the polish chipped off within a few days. I ended up returning this product because I don't have the time to apply 6-8 coats just have it chip off quickly.

It's not worth it!! It's the thinnest nail polish I've ever tried. I can't build it up at all. I use it exactly according to the instructions. There's way way better LED gel polishes out there
Does not stay pink 3

Goes on true to color but I noticed it kept getting lighter and lighter everyday until it was a very light orange.
Not true to color expectations 1
Jacylyn from Colorado Springs
I put this color on after the first one I bought wasn't very good. This color is not true to bottle color. I used 3 coats and it is still so light that you can see the tips of my nails through it. Very disappointed and I will be exchanging for a more bold color.
Color is not true to bottle 3
Jacylyn from Colorado Springs
This color shows an iridescent sheen to it and it definitely does not look like the bottle or online description. I used 2 coats like the directions say and it was pretty see through. I ended up removing it the next day.
I would purchase this product again 4

I really like the color so far so good it's only been three days and it looks good still.. The only reason I didn't give five stars is because you only get a small amount for the price!

I didn't think this color looked anything like I wanted it to. I was hoping for a rose colored nude but it had more of a light purple pastel color to it. I really disliked it and returned it to the store. Picked out a color from red carpet in person.
Quality for the price 4

Stayed on very well even after cleaning the garage and washing my hands millions of times at work. I'll definitely be going back for more colors.
Peach, not pink 3

After setting the polish, the color was splotchy. Most was peach, very little remained pink.
Thin and changes color 2

I normally don't leave reviews, but this brand of gel polish is not good. I have bought several different colors from them and all are very thin so it takes many coats, the colors separate in the bottle, and every color fades to a yellowish/ grayish version of the original color after a day. This is the only LED light gel that Ulta offers and it's disappointing. I would recommend buying gel polish from somewhere else.
quick 1 day manicure 2
liizard84 from Chicago
I used base coat, color and topcoat with the recommended uv light time per each session. I would recommend it only for a quick day manicure, but it wont last days. Yes it's like the real deal no chip nail polishes but it peels the same day. If you wash dishes it wont last. If it makes sense this product feels like a no chip but peels off easily if you are done with the look.
Waist of money 1

Horrible, I bought 2 different colors both leaked out of the bottle, the colors were nice but it was like painting my nails with lotion. The polish simply wouldn't stay on. I wouldn't recommend this.
Awful 1

I've tried 4 brands of gel polish and this is the worst. I have to dry under the light and it's still so sticky. Have to apply at least 3 coats to get any sort of evenness. Absolutely awful. Pretty colors but not worth it. Unfortunately I gave it too many chances so I can't return it, but I will be returning the top coat.
I really like this color!!! 5

It's a great color and goes on well. You just have to take your time and it looks like I got my nails done at a salon!
Nice color 5

Beautiful color. The polish isn't shear. You can apply 2 coats and your nail is covered!
Loved it! 4

If you don't use the device that it states and will not work, the sun or air drying WILL NOT work.
I would not buy this product again 1

The A-muse Me gel color goes on very light and almost transparent. I had to apply 5-6 coats and paint one nail at a time because if I were to wait and paint another nail the polish would run into my cuticles. I always paint my thumb nails first so I didn't realize it would run like that. I also noticed that this color isn't "Pink" it's an ombré color, with orange tones. It's pretty once the color has cured and all nails are painted but I wouldn't recommend because of how much of a hassle it was to use.
Great gel nail polish 5

I have about 10 gel polishes from RCM and love them! I like the size (can never finish a normal sized bottle) and prices are reasonable. Color swatches online aren't always accurate so it's better to look in the store. Downside with this color is that bc it is a lighter pink, I had to use 4 coats than the typical 2.
Probably not ever buying this brand again 2

Yeah so this is not good quality. At all. The thin coats and it chipped on the surface, peeled on some nails and it's only day three. For rehn dollars send asmall bottle, I expected better quality. Do not buy this brand! I'm returning it.

I had a client that needed an acrylic monomer and powder set fill in. She wanted gel polish over full set.

I love Red Carpet gel nails. I've been using them for years. This color was so pretty on the bottle but didn't come out that way. I would've had to put on 5 coats or more to get that color.
I want to return this item 1
JB from San Diego, CA
I very much dislike this product, I love the color though. The problem is you need at least 4 layers to even a achieve an okay coverage. Even after 4 layers it is still not great and also it chipped after 1 day. Now the removal process will be annoying.
