negative reviews but i'm pretty bougie and i love it, i also have super thick long hair that's almost to my butt and its held up great! olivia garden has some the best brushes out there, they're definitely worth the price. i literally have 7 different brushes of hers (i counted 7 in my head but i might be forgetting 1, so i might even have 8), besides that all the positive reviews on her other brushes speak for themselves on quality. i've purchased all these brushes within the last year or so, which i've never cared to much about brushes until i seen a lot of hair stylists talking about her brushes and once i got my first one which was a round brush of hers i was literally hooked. great brushes!
Most Helpful Critical Review Didn't last I bought this on a recommendation for my sister and I loved it for the first 6 months. I have had it about 8 months the plastic beads at the end of the bristles are falling off. Now it is painful to brush my hair, because the plastic bristles just dig into my scalp and it hurts - ouch! I usually keep my hair brushes two to three years and I am bummed that this didn't last longer than half a year. I hate to throw more plastic into the landfill. I will not be repurchasing from this brand but would love something similar yet more durable. Any recommendations?

Loved the brush at first, until this morning mid brush it snap off! The part that snapped off was not from the handle but a huge chunk from within the brush! I do have a-lot of hair but it's very manageable and wavy and about shoulder length. My hair use to be very long down to my lower back and NEVER has this happened! Such a shame....I really enjoyed using this hair brush :( Don't waste your money.

I have long, thick hair that tangles easily so this seemed perfect. The teeth are long and perfectly spaced. But after only a couple of months of use, it broke. Tried to patch it up, but then the other side broke. Not worth the money for only a couple months of use. The search for a hairbrush continues.

i have thick hair that LOVES to tangle, ive tried every brush you can think of in the past & nothing worked well. i used to hate brushing my hair it took so long but then i got this brush and WOW it takes seconds to brush my hair & it gets through the tangles like nothing. my whole family is inlove with this brush. 10/10 recommend

I bought this brush for my thick long hair. It worked great. But after a few months of using it the brush broke! First the one side snapped and then the other side making the brush totally useless. I am super disappointed because up until then I liked the brush. I have thick hair and apparently it still was too thick for this brush.

Brush did a poor job try to get through my hair. It felt like the brush would break. Also it pulled at my hair a lot more than my current brush.

This really worked fantastic in my thick wavy hair. I usually use a wide tooth comb or just skip the brushing til my hair dries to prevent breakage. This thing is magic in my hair and I have hair down to my bottom. Can't explain how in the world it works, but it does!!

I have long, thick hair that tangles like crazy. This is the first brush I have used that brushes my hair with ease. Took me 15 seconds to brush my hair completely. Usually takes 10 minutes to get through all the tangles! So amazing.

I absolutely loved this brush for not only myself, which I have thick tangly hair but for my 7 year old who has hair that tangles easily as well, it got all the tangles out without hurting her and now she loves brushing her hair!

Soo i loved it! I needed a brush to detangle my wet hair, since I dyed my hair it's pretty hard to keep detangled. I fell in love with this brush. I mean I can even use it in the shower while I have conditioner and detangle it with ease.. im in love but the handle is too smooth and it kinda hurts my hand after using it on my long thick hair. Note my hair is past my butt soo my hand gets tired of brushing down specially with wavy thick thick hair.

This brush is phenomenal! My hair normally breaks brushes pretty quickly because of how thick it is. This brush lasted a WHOLE YEAR before breaking! I am purchasing another. So gentle on your hair and gets out difficult tangles.

I wasn't sure about this at first.Boy was I wrong..It works great on unmanageable thick hair.Normally it tangled and anything gets stuck in it..This brush just glides through it..

I have thick hair that always has hair stylists offering to thin when I get hair cuts. In the last few years, as I've grown it longer, it's been hard to detangle after a wash. I have bought wide toothed combs that didn't help, specific detangling brushes that my hair bent bristles on the first try. This brush is amazing. I bought one for each of my bathrooms at home and after telling my sister in law about this brush while she was using brush after brush on my nieces long thick hair after a was, I went and got her one too. So worth the price.

This brush actually does detangle better than any brush I've ever used. I have a fine hair but a lot of it and it is difficult to comb out after washing. This brush moves through the hair noticeably easier with way less breakage. I purchased a couple of other Olivia Garden brushes and they all work very well. Impressive!
