Comments about Revlon PhotoReady Primer:

I love Revlon's Colorstay Foundation for normal/dry skin, so I thought I would try their PhotoReady primer. The smell is a big turn off! I started breaking out and I didn't notice a significant difference in the appearance of my foundation.

      Comments about Revlon PhotoReady Primer:

I am 50/50 on this primer. Some days my makeup looks great and other days the primer makes it look cakey or not smooth like my other primer I usually use. I think I am going back to my usual primer. I would use this over nothing at all though or purchase on a budget if you can afford a 20 to 30 dollar primer.

This product made the foundation go on patchy, I couldn't make my foundation look smooth after applying this primer. And I use a revlon foundation. Also caused EXTREME dryness to my skin

                Sticky and Heavy

                By Jessica

                from Wa

                Comments about Revlon PhotoReady Primer:

I've been using the same foundation for years, with no problems and I wanted to try a new primer. It caused my foundation to become clumpy and cakey. Especially around the nose and underneath the eyes. After it dries It becomes very thick and heavy. So applying foundation with a brush causes the skin to pull and drag so my foundation became impossible to blend. Tried a beauty blender and it made the foundation became cakey and textured. Using the beauty blender I could also feel my skin sticking to the blender as I applied my foundations. I want to prime my face, not glue it.

                        Hi Belle,

The PhotoReady Pore Reducing creates a matte look so I would suggest that as the best primer for oily skin.

What is the difference between the "Perfecting Primer" and the "Pore Reducing Primer?" What does the perfecting primer perfect - everything but pores?

                        Hi,

The Perfecting Primer smoothes and perfects skin's overall appearance. It does reduce the appearance of pores as well. The Pore Reducing Primer is more targeted on minimizing appearance of pores and gives a matte look.
