Why is there glitter in here??

By Nikki

from VA

Comments about Revlon PhotoReady Airbrush Effect Makeup:

Wish I had read the reviews before I tried this foundation, as for the coverage it's pretty good but I absolutely HATE the glitter in it! At first I couldn't figure out why my beauty blenders & my powder brush had gotten glitter in them until I was putting the foundation on a few days ago and saw the glitter in it, so now I need a new makeup blender cause I couldn't get the glitter off. Definitely do not recommend this foundation!

Comments about Revlon PhotoReady Airbrush Effect Makeup:

The foundation has small specks of glitter inside it so you look like a walking disco ball. It says luminous on the bottle but it's not dewy; the foundation is simply glittery. The small glitters emphasize texture and in the foundation is actually quite matte. I bought it for the luminous effect so the foundation was disappointing.

It works really well for the price. I traded in my too faced "born this way" foundation for this. (Until winter is over)

      Needs to have fair shades

      By Alice

      About Me Budget Buyer

      Pros

      • Blends Well
      • Easy To Apply
      • Goes On Smoothly
      • If you don't powder it is easy to reapply
      • Long-Lasting

      Cons

      • Not enough pink tones.
      • Not light enough.
      • Turns orange on fair skin after a few hours.

      Best Uses

      • Dry Skin
      • Light To Medium Coverage

Comments about Revlon PhotoReady Airbrush Effect Makeup:

I wish this line had shades that were 2 shades lighter.... It oxidizes. I wish it had pink tones. It was GREAT for my very dry skin. I always wear an oil under my moisturizer so that way I can wear foundations. So keep that in mind when I say it worked with very dry skin. Silk Essentials jojoba oil to be specific. This foundation will start to fade after a few hours, but I used my damp Nyx beauty blender to reapply with some more drops of the foundation, and then I used the J Cat setting spray and it was as flawless as first application. I don't have this kind of luck with other foundations. It got dinged two stars though because it oxidized badly on my skin.

Comments about Revlon PhotoReady Airbrush Effect Makeup:

This product never fully set on my face. It transferred to my clothing and my jacket. If I used primer, it felt even heavier on my skin, as if I were wearing an oily mask that needed blotting several times throughout the day. It also caused break outs.

Comments about Revlon PhotoReady Airbrush Effect Makeup:

You really have to use a beauty brush to apply this correctly. I use my finger to cover spots, wait a little to dry, and then use a brush to apply the rest. This is a full coverage creamy liquid, so it does take a bit more time and blending to apply, but the finish can look flawless even without using primer. Once it is dry, it lasts all day for me unless I'm sweaty. While it doesn't specifically state that this is for older skin, I kind of think it is. It is a little moisturizing and it hides small wrinkles well. I'm not sure why some reviews that this was runny, because this is almost a cream. Maybe try shaking it well? I think the shades look a bit darker in the bottle than on the skin. Nude looks really dark to me, but it was a perfect match for my light skin during the summer. Now that my light tan is fading this is slightly too dark, so I'm going to blend it with a lighter shade. Even though I keep trying more expensive brands (I have different 3 bottles of Lancome Teint Idole and Miracle right now), I keep coming back to Revlon foundations because they really cover well.

Hi Brenda, this product is not recommended to use in airbrush. This product gives an airbrushed makeup look.
