Most Helpful Positive Review Want to wear it every day
Love this foundation- and I didn't like original photofocus. The OG PhotoFocus was mask like on my face and it felt like I lost all coverage by the end of the day. I have normal to oily skin with some acne scarring and texture. With this foundation my skin looks luminous, covers and smoothes my acne/pores and lasts all day. I'd definitely say it's more of a satin-dewy finish rather than full dewy, but that's fine with me! Layer a few more heavy duty dewy products with it if you want that full blown dew, but my oil skin loves how this looks very skinlike. Definitely will repurchase.
Most Helpful Critical Review Not as cakey as original formula but not good or "Dewy"
I wanted to like this. I've been trying to find a dewy foundation in the US that could work for my skin. So far the only thing that works is Holika Holika Petit BB in moisturizing which is too dark and I have to have shipped to the states.
This is exactly like the original formula. Huge scent which doesn't usually bother me but that could be something that bothers others. The finish is a bit better than the original in that it isn't as cakey. It still is cakey and dry looking on my skin though. It also causes polka dot pores. Meaning it settles into my large pores and makes them more obvious. I wouldn't recommend this to dry people. Maybe those who have normal to slightly oily skin. Very oily probably could work with this without a mattifying primer & power.

I love this foundation. I have dry skin and it doesn't dry out at all . Usually my foundation looks patchy at the end of the day but this foundation lasts and gives a beautiful glow.
Smells like latex paint

This product was awful. If I could give it zero stars I would....the smell was so over powering. I didn't even use the product because of the smell. Literally smells like paint!
Okay for low price

I tried this foundation looking for something that wouldn't irritate my sensitive skin or leave it dry. It's great for both moisturising and sensitivity, but even with both setting powder and spray it still comes off way too easily. I will say it matched my skin and offered great coverage, I just wished it lasted longer. I will finish the bottle but I won't purchase again.

I have to say that at first didn't like the foundation but once I paired it the matching primer the photo focus serum OMG it made such a difference. I set it with Laura Mercier translucent powder and Morphe setting spray and it last beautifully all day. Love it , love it , love it 😍

I have pale dry to normal skin. This foundation was very transferable. Not for hot and humid summers. It sat on top of my skin, looked cakey and off. This is not for me and the smell was terrible!
MY HOLY GRAIL RN

I absolutely LOVE this foundation. This is the only drugstore one I have tried where my sensitive skin hasn't had some kind of breakdown. It's very buildable which I love, so you can make it full coverage if that's how you want it. I feel like so many people hate the flat thing on the cap to apply it, but I like that too. I hate that I have to pump foundation on my hand and get it everywhere, so that's an added bonus! Overall, go get this if you have dry or combo and/or sensitive skin. I definitely recommend it :)

Shades run lighter than expected beware, which resulted in me getting the wrong shade but some contour helped the problem. The formula is okay, its AMAZING for the price, emphasis on price. Don't expect dior out of this, but for this price point it is the dior of all cheaper foundations. Slightly streaky and runny, but manageable after you blend it out (takes me more time to blend but for the money i'm paying im not complaining). I do like the scent, people say it smells like paint but I think it smells more so like floral paint, which oddly I don't mind. The wear is good too, is it my favorite foundation? No. But honestly if I run out I would definitely repurchase, its still super good for the price, better than their other formulation!

I needed to try a new foundation, everything I've ever had has always turned out cakey or dried my skin out or it just didnt last half the day. until i found this foundation and I absolutely love it!! perfect natural finish, not too dewy, buildable and it lasted me 16 hours!

Beautiful foundation. Light to medium coverage. Satin finish. Blends with ease. Wears well, even on my oily skin. Golden Beige is the perfect match for my NC35/37 skin tone.
Love the finish

The color was a great match and the finish is beautiful. Makes me look airbrushed and flawless with a nice natural to dewy finish.

I did not the original mainly because the paint thinner smell was just too much and while this one smells much nicer the wear of it was disappointing. My skin tends to be normal/ dehydrated and this did not have great coverage and broke apart very quickly throughout the day.

This was actually something I ne'er would have bought, I HATE DEWY. but let me tell you this was the best mistake I've made. I usually buy the matte finish but this is great for a glowy look without being oily
Great for the price

I like this so much better than the matte (original) version. A little goes a long way. Can look cakey if you're not careful. Coverage only lasts about 8 hours. But it does have nice coverage, feels good on, and has just enough luminous that it doesn't look flat and not too much that you look greasy.
beautiful finish, not long lasting
savannah from alabama
I have normal/dry skin, and combo in the summer and this has a beautiful finish, but unfortunately it's not long lasting. This has a light-medium (barely medium) coverage and the finish is dewy, when not set with powder, or natural when set with powder. I wear this foundation when I want to look natural for something (like an interview, meeting at work) but still want some coverage to even out my skin tone.
I don't wear foundation usually

I have never found the right one I suppose, but this stuff is amazing and I can't believe it's under $10. It is my holy grail now. It leaves the skin slightly dewy and looks fresh. 10/10 I highly recommend this product

After watching my favorite YouTube makeup personality Mariaa Gloriaa and watching her rave about this foundation I had to try as I needed a summer shade. At first it looked a bit light but blended out like a dream! It's perfect for just evening out your complexion and coverage is light/build able to medium. It looks like skin y'all! It's everything she said it was! I'm loving it! I have dry skin and mix this with the ELF putty primer and I'm smooth and flawless all from the drugstore side!
Wanted to like it but........

This foundation is SUPER runny and very hard to use. The applicator doesn't help this situation. Also the shade range could be better. I don't know if the wet n wild website has more shades available but I don't see many on Ulta's website. Decent price though.

I really love this foundation the color matches and doesn't change color it's lightweight and blends well good coverage I love it more than my expensive make up!!!! when I apply powder which you really don't need to its perfect it's l light glow.
Perfect for any occasion

I love this foundation for any event! You can make this an "even out your skin tone" with the slightest bit; or you can totally build the coverage for an intense makeup look. It sinks into the skin the right way while covering a decent amount. This great for someone struggling to find a foundation that is not caked and heavy looking at n the face. I definitely recommend applying with a sponge for a even more dewy finish. With a brush it will give an amazing dewy Dinah regardless. A sponge just amps it up. I also think that if you have an oily T-zone you would have to powder if you want it last in the center of the face. Also, less is more towards the center of the face; it tends to look heavy in that area if you do too much. I love this foundation and I think I have found a new holy grail! Highly recommend!

This is one of the best foundations I have found. I love the way it looks on my combination skin. The shades are great and is affordable. It's beautiful even if you use powder to set it. My skin is acne prone and I've never had a problem with breakouts ever Love it!
New Favorite Foundation

This foundation has buildable coverage, doesn't cake up and gives the skin a natural dewy glow! Mine didn't have any weird smell and 2 months after buying still works like new. I prefer this to many high end foundations I've tried.
Nice, Afforadable Foundation

I am pleasantly surprised by this foundation, I started wearing it and my, oh my does my skin look flawless yet natural. The odd combo intrigued me, but I love it more and more. However, the scent is not too favorable, it's quite floral, but it's tolerable. The shade range could improve a considerable amount, though.

1)Broke me out !!
2)Shade range sucks.
3)Smells really bad.
I have normal to dry clear skin, I've used other drugstore foundations before and when this came out I was super excited to try it. After the first use I noticed some texture on my skin that wasn't there before small little bumps here and there. I wanted to love this foundation i tried it again and the texture got worse and i broke out around my cheeks it got all red and ugly.

Really surprised at how much I like this foundation. I normally use too faced, Mac or fenty, but this is a great drug store option. Easily blended and great medium-ish coverage. Wore about 5hrs with minimal creasing. The 2 things I didn't care for are the applicator, which is this weird flat scoop like thing and the limited shade range which is ridiculously non-inclusive of dark skin tones. Bought this to try on a whim but won't purchase again if the shade range isn't expanded.
