I love setting spray but sometimes it leaves me looking like I survived a rainstorm vs dewy~ (it's important to hold the bottle a few feet away from your face but also be aware of how different setting sprays work since every nozzle is different) but with [product:smashbox-cosmetics-photo-finish-setting-spray-weightless] I am always looking DEWY. It is amazing since I am super oily but with this I look like a glowing Grecian goddess vs a napkin post pizza grease dab. It is the glazed look I have been dying to achieve. Thank you smashbox! I also use the [product:smashbox-photo-finish-foundation-primer] which keeps my foundation in place all day. The price is also amazing since this bottle is so big. Pretty sure this will last me all year even though I use it so often! I received this product complimentary for review purposes.
Most Helpful Critical Review Just "Okay" This setting spray was just "okay". The spray bottle did not dispense a fine, even amount of product everywhere. A more condensed stream would come out of one side than the other. Not a HUGE deal, but I had to spray it multiple times to get on my face in some areas and then spread it out on my face in other areas that the stream hit. This was troublesome because it affected my makeup by making it look more messy in some spots. I think the ideal design for a setting spray is a fine mist aerosol. It did make my makeup last a bit longer, but not enough to warrant the price. I have combination skin. Within a few hours, I still ended up blotchy and oily. On a positive note, there is absolutely no smell—which is nice—and I never broke out from using it. This is a setting spray that I don't have to worry about putting on my face because it doesn't clog pores. Will I purchase or even recommend it? Most likely not. It wasn't bad, just not great or worth the price for me. I received this product for free to test and provide an honest review.

Well let me just start by saying I have super oily skin and I have tried every setting spray in the world, and this is the absolute best setting spray ever! I use the photo finish primer and then the spray and WOW! It makes my makeup last on my face all day and night without moving!! It's so much better than urban decay too by the way! It's worth the price. Pls never chance the formula smashbox😭

I've been looking for a good transfer proof setting spray because I'm tired of getting makeup all over my face masks and this stuff works! Nothing goes onto my masks and makeup stays put and looks good!

This product is amazing. It keeps my makeup from transferring on my mask and it really helps my makeup look better! It melts everything together and smooths out the powders on my face! It's super fine and doesn't spray out chunky mist!

Ok sis, you proved that you are the best of the best. I used this before going out in the 100 degree weather and nasty humidity and let me tell you. My make up didn't budget, not even my liquid lipstick. Worth every single penny spent.

I have really oily skin, and at the end of the day my makeup not only looks and feels greasy, but also ends up cakey and heavy looking and eventually fades away. I've tried every primer, foundation, concealer, or powder or setting spray and it NEVER stood looking the way it did when I first applied it by the end of the day. However, I tried this not even expecting it to do much for me and my makeup looked absolutely amazing! Stood on for 10+ hours and looked exactly the way it did when I first applied. No cakey-ness, makeup didn't settle into fine lines or look heavy, oil totally under control yet didn't look dry either. I absolutely recommend especially in these hot summer months we're in.

This is by far my favorite setting spray! I have used many brands such as urban decay (second fav), tarte, mac, benefit, etc. Not oily at all or matte. Perfect in my opinion, but I do have good skin and it is considered normal. I have to wear at work and I've noticed a lot less transfer. Would recommend!

I have combo skin that by the end of the day my makeup is sliding all over and wipes off on my clothes, etc. This spray is the first one I found to actually help. I used to use urban decay and this puts the all nighter spray to shame. My new fav :)

Great Setting Spray. Makes your Makeup last. Very similar to Urban Decay All-nighter. I use them interchangeably. I was able to get it on a great sale as well. Highly recommend.

I have oily skin and I enjoy this spray. Before my oils start pushing through, it is actually transfer proof, I've tested it several times. I also feel like it helps me stay later a little while longer. Great spray.

This absolutely lives up to the hype. I'm not sure why it doesn't work for other people but I'm super super oily and I have to wear a mask all day with COVID-19 and my makeup is glued to my face. Absolutely zero transfer and if my face feels sweaty there is no bunching of my makeup at all. This stuff is 100x better than UD all nighter. I'm so glad I found this before summer because Texas has some brutal heat!

I've been using UD all nighters setting spray for about 8 years but wanted to mix it up a bit so I tried this one. It's great. When using this with the SB photo finish lite primer and their photo finish foundation, it makes it super long lasting. I'll definitely be repurchasing when I run out.

I am a fitness instructor and wear eye and eyebrow makeup. It doesn't not make my eyebrows last. Just a primer and this setting spray and my eyebrows still melt off. It's not an even spray, more like big droplets. The Mary Kay setting spray I had worked better and evenly. I have to reapply my eyebrows after my workout. Something so expensive shouldn't require touch ups or multiple layers.

Not hydrating, no dewy glow, and no "melting" your makeup together to look more natural (like fix+) does, but it does do a great job at not transferring makeup onto your clothes (mostly your shirt collars). No other setting spray does this, so that's why I'm giving 3-stars

I use this spray whenever the day will be hot and humid or when I want to set my makeup when going out for the evening. I have the iconic Urban Decay setting spray, but this one has a finer mist and you don't feel it on the skin.

This is the best SETTING spray I have ever used! My makeup lasts for hours and hardly any oil peaks through. My makeup feels locked-in-place without my skin feeling tight or drying. I'm loving this on my dry/combo winter skin, and I am sure I will love it just as much when my skin gets more oily in the summer.

First off, this setting spray is not transfer-resistant, transfer-proof, or any other way you can describe makeup staying on your face. Secondly, this setting spray makes my skin feel sticky and tacky. It's far from weightless, even when just applying a little spritz. It's probably the worst setting spray I've ever used.
