Most Helpful Positive Review Awesome!! I've tried at least a dozen dry shampoos, both sprays and powders. I hated all the sprays, both high end and drugstore. I've been using Alterna and Oscar Blandi Pronto, which are both powders. However, I haven't gotten much volume, one of the main reasons for using dry shampoo. They also don't leave my hair feeling really clean, enough that I feel comfortable skipping shampoo. So I just don't use dry shampoo very often. These powders are just ok, but they didn't blow me away. However, this PHD dry shampoo is totally different from anything else. The ingredients or technology must be completely different because the results were magical! I got tons of volume that lasted for two days, there was no residue to brush out and my hair looked and felt truly clean and fresh. I followed the directions, shaking the can between each spritz and focusing solely on the roots, parting my hair in 1/2 inch sections, including the back. This product is white but the second step is massaging it into the roots. Supposedly it takes about 30 seconds for it to work but I gave it several minutes. After this time, there was no more white powder, it was absorbed by the oil. I have to say that my hair was quite dirty and incredibly, it looked better after using this product than it does when it's freshly washed. It was amazing!! Now I know what all the fuss was about and why my local Ulta is always sold out of this product. They simply can't keep it on the shelf. I'm a huge Living Proof fan, I use PHD s/c, Prime Style Extender, No Frizz Styling Spray, Satin Serum, Root Lifting Spray and Restore Instant Protection heat spray. Now I'm adding another product to this list of successes. This dry shampoo is simply incredible. If you haven't liked dry shampoo in the past, I urge you to give this one a try. The volume and freshness lasts me two days, which is great for my color treated hair. And it washes out easily with no buildup. I love it!

Hands down the best dry shampoo I have used (and I have tried 20-30 different ones) I love the fresh smell and it does a great job absorbing the hair oils without making my hair sticky, dry or matte looking. The best.

This used to be a good dry shampoo. It absorbed the oils so well that I couldn't use this everyday otherwise my hair would become dry. Anyway I decided to buy the jumbo size and not only does it not absorb the oil well, it also smells different in a bad way.
I don't know what happened, if they reformulated or I got a dud. But this new bottle does nothing at all what my last bottle did. Not to mention the change in scent which smells nauseating.

I don't remember the last day I washed my hair. I assure you, it's been too long. BUT! No one knows that because this dry shampoo is the best. Worth every penny.

I was recommended this dry shampoo and while it worked really well, I couldn't get over the smell. It smells so horrendeous, like a bad perfume, and because of that, I don't plan on purchasing this again, no matter how well it works. If it didn't have the smell, I would easily rate it 5 stars and continue purchasing it.

This is the best dry shampoo I've used. It actually cleans the hair, gives lift, and doesn't build up to a powdery mess. Can white cast if you put too much or place can too close to scalp. I even put it in my hair when it's freshly washed to give texture and lift. Only downside is I use it up quick and it's pricey. Well worth it though so I just grin and bare it. I only need to wash my hair twice a week since I have this to get me through. I save so much time on hair styling.

Best dry shampoo I've ever tried! I have dark hair and it does go on white, but it quickly blends in once I disperse it a little with my fingers.
My hair gets oily quickly and I'm very active (meaning I sweat a LOT), so I used to have to wash my hair daily. After switching to Living Proof shampoo and conditioner paired with the dry shampoo, I'm able to go 6 days before washing again!!

I have very oily hair, my hair looks great after I wash it, but the next day it looks like I haven't washed it for a week. I have tried all types of dry shampoo and have hated the way my hair felt while using other dry shampoos.
I got a sample of PhD (Perfect hair Day) Dry shampoo and I was amazed at how well it worked. It eliminated the oil in my hair and did not leave any residue behind. I was able to use it and feel like I had just washed my hair. I love this dry shampoo. I will not use another brand again.

I am so disappointed in this product. I bought it because it had such good reviews. It did make my hair look cleaner after I used it. I had to wash my hair after I applied Living Proof Dry Shampoo because the smell of the dry shampoo was so bad. I mean bad. Yuck!

It's ok. I honestly don't think it did much for my hair. It's expensive and I feel like it need a lot of it to do anything to my hair, and I've been using it essentially every day. I normally don't need dry shampoo until day 3, but by day 5 my hair is super greasy and this stuff doesn't work. I'll be going back to my $10 Bastille dry shampoo, it works amazing!

I used to wash my hair every day until I tried Living Proof. I use it the same day that I wash my hair and then every night. I can go up to a week without washing my hair. It leaves my hair feeling clean and smelling fresh.

I have black hair and I get oily hair after my 2nd day so when I use this it refreshes my scalp and leaves my hair freshly clean. It doesn't leave any white residue on me. You just have to shake the can every time you spray each section.

Batiste and a few other dry shampoos never do anything for my oils. I only wash my hair twice a week because if I wash too much I get a dried out scalp. Usually by day 3 I need dry shampoo. This soaked up my oils and actually made my hair look clean. The next day my hair still looked clean. I just don't like how white the white cast is and it feels really dry, but the dry feeling of the dry shampoo is fine.

I've purchased this dry shampoo a few times and swore I'd never buy again because the nozzle kept clogging. But after several months I purchased again and realized that it's not effective. For a couple weeks it was fine, I could see the white residue where it was used and just tousled my hair to blend it in. But after awhile, no more residue and no more effectiveness. I ended up using baby powder that day to conceal my unwashed hair. For the price there's waaaay better products out there that work until the bottle is empty.
