Got this mascara for free from Influenster. Definitely give this mascara 2 thumbs up! My lashes look longer and fuller and it DOES NOT FLAKE!! My mascara stayed on all day without clumping or flaking around my eyes! Even after going to the gym, my mascara looked the exact same.
I bought this new peacock flare mascara, the design of the tube was very appealing. The product is not, I can only compare it to an old dried out mascara. It Very thick but the wand doesn't distribute the product into the lashes. I have used it 3 times and am done... going in the trash!!!

This mascara is beautiful, it extended my lashes, kept them clump-free, and was all around perfect...until I tried to take it off at the end of the evening.
I used my normal eye makeup remover, and changed nothing about my cleaning routine. When I dabbed my eyes with my cotton ball dipped in cleanser, my eyelashes literally fell out, still caked in mascara. These are my natural lashes. It wasn't just one or two, I lost about a dozen eyelashes from each eye and the makeup was extremely difficult to remove regardless.
I threw the tube away immediately. Stay away from this product!!!

Clumps up every time you use it.
Weighs lashes down instead of curling them up.
Don't like the wand. Don't like plastic wands.

HATE absolutely my least favorite i have oily skin and it just gives me raccoon eyes. i never write reviews but this was horrible
red from Georgia

Personally, I don't like this product for a few reasons. I noticed a weird synthetic smell right away but that's the least of my worries about this mascara. The formula is very thick but no build able. It turns out clumpy and horrible for my eyelash's.

I've been using this almost 4 yrs, it's just perfect! I have stick straight lashes that don't hold curl at all but only this one with the lash curler work all the time!! My friends believe I have long curly lashes lol

I had read an article online that recommended this mascara. The only thing I will confirm is this product is waterproof. It is hard to remove. It also smudges and is not sweat proof. It leaves raccoon eyes if you have oily skin. The wand is odd shape and tended to clump and cause spider lashes. Worst mascara I've ever used.

I wanted to give this a shot but I think I'm done after 1 use. The brush is useless. It took so much work to get it on my lashes and i think there is more product in my eyelids and lash line than in my actual lashes.

The mascara does make them pretty long but I have a problem with my eyelashes sticking together. I dont like how my eyelashes feel, they feel sticky. Its good for the price but I wouldnt recommend it.
Ulta Gal from Fl
This mascara does nothing for my eyelashes. The applicator barely picked up product and it's pricey for how poorly it performed.

My mom bought this mascara for me and I just tried it out today. It looked great on but after 30 minutes of trying to take it off I'm not happy. This mascara is not waterproof. Never have I ever seen a mascara that just will not come off. And no my makeup remover is not the issue. I'm still working on getting it off. Please don't waste your money just for all of your eyelashes to fall out.

This mascara makes my eyelashes look like spider legs. It clumps so much. The brush is small and the brush is filled with tooooo much product. So i wouldn't recommend it.

I only use waterproof mascaras. This formula really does give you a clump free application. The brush holds just enough to not overdo it. There are days I want a natural look...perfect! Other times I need MORE! The peacock flare brush gives you marvelous control and assures the evenly fanned lash splay. The case clicks shut so you are surely extending the freshness with the seal! LOL! I also love it's tapered shape and grippy coat on the end for a stable control with maneuvering the wand. While testing this product; I was so amazed at the longevity of the lash form. I slept in it. No flakes. Still lovely thru the next day! It also took well to the addition of more coats at a later time in the day. Some mascaras resist this by clumping or acting foreign when you want to add more.
I usually buy high end mascaras for these perks! So; Overall its Christmas again! Alright then, my Birthday? Regardless, I have found a treasure in this product. I appreciate that I am no longer stuck paying 3x as much for luxury perks and can find all those lovely details in my corner drugstore cosmetics aisle product. Thank you.

I wish I could return it...I think it's the wand...I asked 3 of my friends to try it to make sure it wasn't me...big time clumping for everyone.

I love the cover girl products but recently with all the new black shades it's impossible to know which shade is the darkest black.
I bought a black one, and it was gray. I bought extreme black next and it still wasn't dark black.
If it want the darkest shade of black what do I look for?
It's disappointing waiting money in a product you can't use because of the shade, time after time.

We've all had that really bad experience with mascara in eight grade, right? The awful dollar store one we used with our sparkly blue eyeshadow, and thought we were so awesome? This is worse.
No matter what I tried, it clumped, like crazy. Always looked like I had seriously gooped up lashes. It was heavy, so it irritated my eyes within the first hour. Awful stuff. Like the Oobleck book- go read it, and you'll understand how this mascara feels.
Even worse- it's waterproof formula seems to mean it's also soap and makeup remover proof, too. I would have to use something heavy duty like Vaseline to get it off, or just wait until it was ready to slide off in clumps to pick it out- often taking my eyelashes with it. Looked like I had trichotillomania- which I didn't, I just couldn't get the mascara off! Refer back to the Oobleck book on difficulty in removing the junk.
I tried, truly I did. Again and again, just to make sure it wasn't me- it wasn't. This is the worst mascara I've ever used in my life- would not even recommend to my worst enemy, it's that awful.
Save your money, your sanity, and your lashes, don't buy this junk.

This is the worse mascara I ever bought! Doesn't go on well at all!
Emily33 from Colorado
I am not satisfied with this product at all. I have very small lashes and this mascara did nothing for them. I have used way better products. I was extremely disappointed with the results. Especially because it was a more expensive product that other kinds and brands available.
Stehernie from Utah
I figured I would try something new. This had all I wanted in a mascara. Til i put it on . I need several coats to get the desired look (much more than my previous mascara) It is hard on my eyelashes. I have very light eye lashes so I have tried thin coats to thick coats. It feels heavy too.
MoniM from California
I'm surprised there's so many bad reviews! I love this mascara it is definitely waterproof. It makes my short lashes look long with volume. I really love this mascara and has been my favorite! I have repurchased this mascara about 3 times now.

I should never have strayed from lash blast, but the name and ad picture drew me in. First, this is the worst shaped handle. Why on earth is it sort of flattened?? How am I supposed to easily twirl this as I apply my mascara to maximize lift and coverage? The wand is very small and the nubs either are too short or don't cover enough because it takes way too many passes over the same spot for a semi decent looking application. This mascara looked like the super cheap Maybelline big lash tube that everyone buys simply because it is cheap and better than naked lashes, but this is 3x that price. The mascara was extremely dry as well. As reference, I consistently get compliments eye lashes and asked if I have extensions so I have a good baseline to work with. I can lashes to look alright with this product, but the effort and time it takes is not worth it, especially when it has an uncomfortable handle.

Brush separates lashes nicely, i just wish there was a bit more volume.
SarahSea from Illinois
This mascara is awful. The brush doesnt do a darn thing...when you get lucky, you may end up with a few clumps on your lashes. There is zero flaring of the lashes from this mascara, despite the name. The bristles on the brush are so far apart and so short that they just dont do anything for my lashes. The formula of the mascara is lacking as well. I'm so disappointed with this mascara. Probably the worst I have ever used.. and I have been using mascara for 25 years. I love other cover girl mascaras, so I'm hoping this is a fluke.
CakerBaker from Upper Midwest
I love CoverGirl mascaras but the Peacock Flare is the exception. The brush design leaves a lot to be desired. The uneven bristles make it very difficult to get an even coat on my lashes and the mascara is thick and sticky like tar. I tried everything with this mascara but it's just too messy and clumpy to work with. I'll be staying with the orange tube, Volume formula and the Super Sizer.
Suew from Upper Midwest
I use most of the Lash Blast mascaras from CoverGirl and like them very much. But the Peacock Flare has some issues. The wand's uneven bristle lengths make it difficult to apply in an even coat on all of my lashes, especially in the center of my lash line. I've tried rotating the brush as well but that did not help. The formula itself is clumpy and sticky. It felt like I was trying to apply tar to my lashes. :-( I will stay with the Volume (orange tube), Full Lash Bloom (pink tube), & Clump Crusher (green tube), as well as the Super Sizer. These formulas and wands work much better for my short, sparse lashes.
