Peach Sake Emulsion

4.6 oz Item 2305338

Peaches contain significant vitamins, minerals, and other factors, which promote healthy skin. Peaches are rich in vitamin A and vitamin C, which are antioxidants that help reduce free radical damage and possess anti-aging benefits. Naturally occurring acid in the skin helps prevent acne and repair acne scars. The organic acid found in peaches can boost skin acid's rejuvenating effects. Finally, pectin, a type of fiber, is found in the skin of peaches and helps to tone and firm skin. Sake, a wine made from rice, clears skin by facilitating blood circulation, while the alcohol also tightens pores and controls sebum production. Geishas, traditional artisans and performers in Japan, would add sake to bath water for softer, brighter skin. Following their fashion, sake spas offer luxurious sake baths and treatments. The fermentation process produces kojic acid, which has brightening effects on skin. The yeast used in the process also contains peptides, which are chains of amino acids that play a role in effective collagen production. SKINFOOD's Peach Sake Emulsion is a light and refreshing emulsion with peach and Japanese sake extracts. It tightens pores, reduces the appearance of enlarged pores, and controls oily skin with excessive sebum.
After toner/serum application, dispense an ample amount onto palms. Smooth gently over entire face until completely absorbed.

Love it!

Comments about Skinfood Peach Sake Emulsion:

I researched this product to replace my daily moisturizer and ended up getting it. I love how lightweight and fast absorbing it is and it makes my skin so soft and smells really good ! I've been using it for about 2 weeks now, just under my makeup and at night when i go to sleep and have even noticed a nice glow in my face. The only thing is it doesn't have sunscreen/spf in it but that's not the worst thing in the world. I would say I have fairly normal skin, it's not acne prone or sensitive, but does get a little oily and this product does help with that. I really recommend this!

Comments about Skinfood Peach Sake Emulsion:

I use this as a daily moisturizer under makeup. I have oily skin and this moisturizer works great as it is not greasy at all and is lightweight, although it doesn't have and spf, which I hate. All the info it states about the sake and peach ingredients I have found to be inaccurate. It moisturizes very well, but doesn't do everything else it states to do.

Comments about Skinfood Peach Sake Emulsion:

This is so lightweight but effective. I have combination skin that can become very oily with moisturizers, but on the flip side it can be dry and flaky--making it dull (yuck)--with too little. Through grad school, I developed enlarged pores, deep lines, and dullness in my skin that was not corrected with even the most expensive moisturizers. I had been using Clinique with some increased oiliness throughout the day and decided to give this a try. IT IS AMAZING on my skin! It dries to a natural finish, it has nearly rid my skin of the creases/deep lines (particularly at my forehead), and it still leaves me feeling fresh when it's humid outside. It smells awesome and isn't overpowering. The only flaw is the packaging--it's hard to get out without spattering it all over my bathroom countertop. Not a deal-breaker though, I'll be purchasing again and again.

Comments about Skinfood Peach Sake Emulsion:

Product does control sebum and makes pores smaller. I concentrate most of the product around the t zone and cheek area. Product smells great but it's not overpowering as a skin care product. Application is easy and it absorbs quickly. Packaging is really cute, but I find it hard to pour the product out/shake it out. If they could change the way the product dispenses, it would be a nice improvement.
