Peaches contain significant vitamins, minerals, and other factors, which promote healthy skin. Peaches are rich in vitamin A and vitamin C, which are antioxidants that help reduce free radical damage and possess anti-aging benefits. Naturally occurring acid in the skin helps prevent acne and repair acne scars. The organic acid found in peaches can boost skin acid's rejuvenating effects. Finally, pectin, a type of fiber, is found in the skin of peaches and helps to tone and firm skin. Sake, a wine made from rice, clears skin by facilitating blood circulation, while the alcohol also tightens pores and controls sebum production. Geishas, traditional artisans and performers in Japan, would add sake to bath water for softer, brighter skin. Following their fashion, sake spas offer luxurious sake baths and treatments. The fermentation process produces kojic acid, which has brightening effects on skin. The yeast used in the process also contains peptides, which are chains of amino acids that play a role in effective collagen production. SKINFOOD's Peach Sake Emulsion is a light and refreshing emulsion with peach and Japanese sake extracts. It tightens pores, reduces the appearance of enlarged pores, and controls oily skin with excessive sebum.
After toner/serum application, dispense an ample amount onto palms. Smooth gently over entire face until completely absorbed.

Caused Cystic Acne

By waykor

from Phoenix, Arizona

Comments about Skinfood Peach Sake Emulsion:

I bought this because I heard really great things about it and loved the packaging. I tried it out only only on my nose and cheeks to try to minimize my pores and I got a massive cystic pimple on the side of my nose. I stopped using it immediately. About 2 weeks later I tried to again because maybe the cystic acne was from stress or hormones and was unrelated. Tried it again but all over my face and I got 3 cystic pimples!!! They're so painful and so hard to get rid of. I love the smell and the look but the formula just isn't good for my sensitive skin.

Comments about Skinfood Peach Sake Emulsion:

I have oily skin and I really like this moisturizer for daytime. It's not too heavy, absorbs quicky and smells really good. The only gripe I have is that the bottle, while it is pretty, is annoying to use. Being glass and not having a pump or anything makes it a pain to get the product out sometimes.

Smells and feels great!

By Lenokagrace

Comments about Skinfood Peach Sake Emulsion:

I used it for the first time today along with the Peach Sake Toner and my skin already feels smooth and silky. My nose is a huge problem area for sebum and pimples. After a few hours it already looks less irritated.

    Finally found a moisturizer

    By Justine

    from Massachusetts

Comments about Skinfood Peach Sake Emulsion:

Love this product! I have been trying to find a moisturizer that works for my skin. I tend to break out here and there with the combination of oily and not oily skin. This moisturizer does not make me more oily or irritate my breakouts. Its also very lightweight which is awesome because i hate when a moisturizer feels heavy. The peachy smell is also not very strong its very faint and smells nice.

I was looking for something to help with dry skin and this was perfect. It absorbs quickly and leaves my skin feeling soft all day. Plus I saw immediate results after the first use.

I have oily/combination skin and so far I love this! Has a lovely, delicate peach smell, and doesn't leave a gross or sticky residue on my skin. I have somewhat sensitive skin and this doesn't make my skin feel tight or burny!

        Awesome

        By Lena

        from Texas

Comments about Skinfood Peach Sake Emulsion:

I have dry skin to the point where my forehead and chin and nose get patchy or ashy. I was using Clinique moisturizer but it didn't help much. I've been wanting to try the emulsion, and used nothing but that for 3-4 weeks and I don't get patchy anymore. Smells amazing and I still have a lot of product left.

Comments about Skinfood Peach Sake Emulsion:

I have extremely oily skin, and this moisturizer is perfect for that! It absorbs very quickly, and believe me when I say all you need is a little dabs of it around your face, too much of it won't absorb as quickly and might even keep skin looking oily. The only thing I don't like is the hassle of getting a good amount out of the bottle but other than that, it works great!
