Press the power switch to turn the wand on. Lights will cascade up, then turn solid when the unit is ready to use. Choose the barrel size that suits your style, attach it to the base and lock it in place. Select the optimal heat setting for your hair type. Always start at a lower heat setting and work your way up if needed. To curl the right side of your head, hold the wand in your left hand and move it over the top of your head so the wand is facing down over your right shoulder. Wrap 1-2'' sections of hair around the barrel with your right hand, hold, then release and move on to the next section. Wrap away from the face for voluminous waves, or towards the face for face-framing waves. Repeat on the opposite side when all pieces on the right side have been styled. Style hair using the glove for flawless, cascading waves from roots to ends, or style without the glove for a more natural, beachy look with unfinished ends.

Precautions: Wait for the barrel to cool before removing it. Using the included heat resistant glove, grasp the barrel with one hand and turn the barrel lock in the opposite direction to release the barrel.
