I found LORAC many years ago through a make up artist at ULTA. She said their quality is always excellent and the colors are true and saturated when used. She was right! I bought this palette because I love the first Unzipped Palette, which is of high quality. This one is not that palette. The colors are lovely and swatch fairly well. However, that's where the love story ends. I worked so hard just to get any pigment out of those pans. So. Hard. How can a brand fail...

I bought this palette because I love the first Unzipped Palette, which is of high quality. This one is not that palette. The colors are lovely and swatch fairly well. However, that's where the love story ends. I worked so hard just to get any pigment out of those pans. So. Hard. How can a brand fail so badly when their other palettes are great? I will not blind buy from Lorac again, just because it is a new release. I'll wait for reviews first. I will continue to pick this one up occasionally and try to work with it. Maybe if I take the top surface off of the pans, it'll work better??? I'm not sure. If I do ever get it to work, I'll post another review and give an update, either way.
Disappointed
I agree with the other reviews. Not like the other palettes. Had high hopes for this palette. Eyeshadows were stiff. Was able to create a nice eyeshadow look but nothing exciting.

Powdery. Barely there pigment. ALL the qualities of a $5 palette. RIP Lorac, you just destroyed my now delusional brand quality.
Worst Palette I've Ever Used
Every eyeshadow in this palette is bad quality. For reference I'm fair-light skin toned and I still had to really dig my brushes into each shadow 3 or more times to build up a visible eyeshadow look. Even using my finger tips I had to dig in multiple times to use the shimmer/glitter shades. Every shadow felt dry and had poor pigment. The glitter looked dry and cheap. I'm a makeup enthusiast and have never used a palette this bad. Big bummer bc I like the Lorac palettes, blushes & highlighters that I own. I never leave reviews this brutally honest but how did they let this palette past quality control and onto the market.
So sad
This was a big miss for me and I'm so sad. The Lorac unzipped palettes are my favorite. The original is the best palette in my collection, hands down. This formula feels much more stiff and dry. I will be returning, sadly.
