Most Helpful Positive Review Surprisingly I loved it!
Because it is a relatively cheap palette, compared to higher end brands, I didn't think it was going to be too good. But I loved the colors so I decided to try it out. By themselves they are nicely pigmented but with my urban decay eyeshadow prime potion, they are brighter. I do still have trouble with the light purple, lime green, and mustard yellow/orange shades on my skin tone but the rest are awesome. I love these colors. I've used it 4 or more times already for everyday. Pretty sure it's the primer that makes it stay in place all day even through workouts.
Most Helpful Critical Review NOT BRIGHT AT ALL
I purchased this eye color palette at Ulta because of all the good reviews and people saying the bright colors are pigmented which is not true especially on dark skin. I first applied the red color on my eye lids I had to add several coats and I mean several to see a bright red color and it was sparkly which was not what wanted. I wanted a bright color matte finish. So I tried the so called bright pink. It also took several coats to see pink. Also the red really doesn't look red it looks pinkish. I do not recommend this color palette by NYX. Next I'm gonna try Sugar pill electric palette. Also I applied NXY milk eye pencil to make the color pop and it make it worse made it dull. These nyx palette might look bright and vibrant on white folks but not me.
Reviewed by 666 customers Nice Neutral Pallette
Sundance 46 from NE Tennessee
As a senior citizen, I prefer soft, neutral colors and avoid the garish, bright colors that seem to predominate these sets and are fine for the younger set. As I pretty much just use 3 or 4 colors in the white/cream to a soft matte or mildly metallic light brown shade, these larger palettes generally are a waste of money. This one, in particular, is way better than most. I may be old, but I still like to look my best and need cosmetics that are age-appropriate to pull that off. Cosmetics firms should realize that with the preponderance of eye shadows being aimed at teens and young adults they are cutting out (or severely limiting) an entire segment of the population who want to look good, but not in bright green, blue, red, etc. metallic eye shadows! So good for NYX for at least offering one more neutral collection of shades.

Very pretty shades, the shimmers don't have as much payoff, but still worth it
Pretty colors are fun to play with!

I bought 3 different pallets and have been loving playing with the colors for different looks
Rafflesia from Over There
Was so excited to try this but the colours weren't it for me. The mattes have very little payoff but I was mostly disappointed in the shimmers. There was more shimmer in the fall out than actually applied on my lid.
BRIGHT COLORS ARE MY FAVORITE!!!
Patrizia from WA
Bought this for the bright colors. Some don't stand out as much as I would like them to but that's okay because I have another pallette of bright colors to blend with these.
Not enough color payoff
Rose from PA
The point of a super bright eyeshadow palette is packing a big punch, and none of these shadows really apply true to color. They're all pretty thin, especially compared so a more economical bright palette I bought. I was trying to round out all the colors I had available but this is obviously inferior.
Chalky, not pigmented, and hard to work with
ivy from Chicago, IL
All the colors, especially the matte ones (although tbh they all show up matte) are chalky, dry, and have very little pigment. They give a little tiny of color, but even with a wet brush, it's hard to make the colors pop. It's also bad for blending, be careful using the colors because it really doesn't move.
Works every single pennies

I have bought it for a year and I do not regret it, it has all the colors that you might like to have, apart from that it is practical you can take it anywhere if you already have a concealer for dark circles, try it as a primer on your eyes and you will see the final result;)

the orangey/peachy shades worked well but the rest just wouldn't. purples ended up looking pink on the eye? save your money and buy the mini JC palette when it's on sale instead
Irritating to eyes
kat from wisconsin
NYX should consider two things when making an eye shadow pallette. Making it safe for eyes and using ethically sourced ingredients. I was sobbing after wearing this for 2 hours, my eyes didn't feel better until I took it off. NYX uses mica, a mineral that children in india mine. I bought this palette, before knowing this information and I won't be purchasing any of their products again.
Perfect everyday color palette
Annie from NY
Great colors for every day wear. I have fair skin, so these all had great pigment for me. The glitter colors were a bit dull, but I don't do too much glitter. As long as you layer it on a similar matte it worked fine.
A good starter palette

The matte shades have very good pigment and last long but the shimmer shades aren't very pigmented at all, have fallout, and flake
Elizabeth from Birmingham
I definitely love this eyeshadow pallet. It is super pretty and has amazing colors. One thing I did notice was that it is not super pigmented which I dont mind. Overall great product.
Susan from Coral Springs, Florida
This is has beautiful colors and goes on, so smoothly. I was afraid the colors would be too bright for a person my age, but I was wrong. The colors are lovely. If you blend properly, you will absolutely love this.
I wouldn't buy this product again.
Sabrinna from New Jersey
When I bought this product I had higher expectations, and was overall exited to use these colors. However, this product shows barely any pigment on my eyes, and I have a pretty fair complexion. Maybe a couple colors showed up on my skin, but barely. I personally wouldn't recommend this product to a friend. :(
Waste of money
Christian_gurl from Miami
I really wanted an affordable rainbow palette because I love to do very colorful looks. This palette was very disappointing. The colors are not very pigmented, they go on sheer. Even when I try to use a white pencil and primer, colors are still sheer. Packing them on does not help, only creates massive amounts of fallout. I have hooded deep set eyes, so I really cannot afford any fallout. Colors do not blend well and are horribly patchy. I did a look for one of my vlogs and it looks so patchy on camara I wanted to delete the whole video. Embarrassing. I got this half off on sale, I'm glad I didnt pay full price for this. Invest in a better quality
Brooke from miami, florida
i love the colors of this pallet but their not that pigmented. it is also pretty pricey for the quality.
Pretty good, too pricy though
Lily from Florida
I wouldn't recommend because of the price
Mags from Nowhere
It's a cool palette. I mainly just use it to create colorful eyeliners but it works great.
Heidi from Ohio
I like the colors and it's very versatile. Compliments my green eyes nicely.
Great palette for Fall
Positive Di from Ventura
I wanted some fun colors for the change in seasons without spending a ton. This is a great palette. Wears well with good staying power. I also use an eye primer.
Not worth the cheap price
GreeneyedGirl from Washington
There's just no pay off with these shadows, which is the only reason I can think to get vivid colors. I'd pass on this and get something higher quality.
Jewel from Phoenix
Honestly was dissatisfied with the pigment richness. But you get what you pay for.
A rainbow great palette.
EltheArtist from IL
This palette has great color pay-off. I can achieve so many fun looks with the vibrant colors.
i love it
Hannah from South Carolina
it is really fun. i wanted a eyeshadow palette that had bright colors. this is good except some pigments aren't as great as others. personally i love the green for doing a wing on my eyes.
