Finally my holy grail for Melasma 7 years dealing with Melasma, dark brown patches in forehead and cheeks, 43 year old. Women light skin wearing a hat every time I have to go out to take my kid to the park, ride the bike, swimming, I don't enjoy the sun, I'm scare, I have spend too much money on tratments for my Melasma, Lancome, Hydroquinone, Clinique, Chanel, and the last one was Clarins, nothing works, get lighter at first but once you expose tho the sun, there you go, a brown mask in my face. A Dermatologis was seated next to me in the park and she told me that she use the Booster C. I just thought "well let me try why not? " Oh Lord, just one week and [$]. Seriusly, im not kidding my face looks lighter, my skin texture is glowing and pores free but the mos important thing is the brown patches are clearing and the make up looks so natural, thanks Ulta and Philosophy. Oh, i forgot to say that in the morning I mix it with Bobbi Brown multivitamin base and in the night with Retin A and after my Bobbi brown Extra moisturizer, Love it.
For me it was messy They don't have my skin type so I choose Dry, I am actually very reactive, sensitive and I have rosacea with some dryness. I bought this based on a suggestion from a woman on a posting board I am a member of, I thought "hey this will allow me to use Vitamin C since I can mix it into my moisturizer". Well, while it does do that it is also a very messy process. I have tried mixing this product multiple ways with my PTR moisturizer which is nice but the process is a messy process and I am worried that I don't feel like I can put enough in to notice even a marginal change ( I am scared of putting too much in and bam! bright red and burning). My PTR Cloud Creme is a perfect product to mix this with but I end up wasting it and getting it everywhere. It is on the difficult/frustrating side trying to get the product out of the bottle with the little scoop and mix it effectively. I used it for a week, on the upside, while it didn't really irritate my skin I did notice that I was a tad on the pinker than usual side when I mixed this in with my creme---no burning, no itchy and no pain, just a tad more pink on my cheeks. While this is a really good idea, in theory, it seems to be a problem with implementation (at least for me, I'm not the most patient person in the world). I have decided that I will be returning this to the store. I could probably suggest it as a product to try but with the "this is messy warning". I gave it 3 stars because it is so dadburn difficult to mix well enough to probably do a lot of good unless they find a better way to mix that is not so messy and wasteful. Also, another good thing, no fragrance.
Best Vitamin C Product 5

I love mixing a fresh vitamin C serum each morning. It literally takes 60 seconds and the results are dramatically better than any of the many vitamin C serums I have used over the years!
I am 53 and had a severe sunspot on my right temple. Over my first year of using this product I watched as that spot faded and is finally clear! I am on my 5th or 6th bottle of this and just love it!

I wanted to love this sooo badly, but it burned my skin. I ended up gifting it to my mom, but it left dry flakes on her skin. In the end, we will be returning it. Disappointed.
My Go-To 5

Always find myself going back to this when I run out. I've tried many different vitamin C products. This by far is my favorite and my skin loves it too!
Diminishes dark spots 5

This product gives me the most visible result of any face product I've ever used! (I'm over 50 with winter skin tone). I use it on my face , neck, upper chest and back of hands. I see drastic improvement on sun damaged dark patches and aged spots as well. I wish I would have taken before pics. It is on the messy side (fine powder) and not super convenient to use but totally worth it. No question.
Better then any Vitamin C serum 5

Clearly I'm late to the party, because I should have been using this! It does as described, I do recommend. My only complaint is the price for the all size bottle you get.
