I have tried so many foundations: Giorgio Armani, Mac, Estee Lauder, Clinique, the list goes on. Let me tell you, this is my all-time favorite foundation! I am 39 years old with combination/oily skin. I feel like this foundation can be worn by all ages, and that is part of why I love it so much! My skin is beginning to show fine lines, and I want a foundation that I can wear as I get older, and that won't age me. This is my foundation that ticks all the boxes. Whenever I wear it, it looks like I have a filter on my face! I LOVE that this foundation has vitamins in it and doesn't contain oil or alcohol. My perfect shade is N2. I pair this with the matching True Match pressed powder also in N2, with the matching concealor. You've got to try this! If you are on the fence about trying it, don't be. You need this! L'oreal, please keep this foundation around forever! People like me love it! I am a lifetime customer of your True Match line.
This is a very good product. I used it exclusivley for about 2 years and it is better than and comparable to high end foundations, particularly Prescriptives. However, foundation and powder is just that - foundation and powder. (Unless it is really cheap and orange colored - this kind should never be purchased under any circumstances) Most make-up can be used successfully with the following tips: 1. Avoid it if it is orange - no one is an orange color! 2. Know your undertone color - are you pink, yellow, or blue? If you know this, you will be able to pick a color that matches your skin much better. 3. Know your skin type and moisturize appropriatley - any and all foundation goes on better with moisturizer to help it blend. The trick is getting one that suits your skin type, and applying it in the areas that you need it. Oily skin - use a light oil free foundation. Dry skin - use a moisturizing lotion. Combo skin - use a normal lotion and avoid your t-zone, appying it to your dry areas only. Normal skin can use a regular lotion. Be sure to use lotions specifically formulated for your face! 4. At the risk of sounding trite - less is more! If you are under 50 with good/really nice skin, I would only use foundation/concealer in the areas that you need it and follow with a nice powder to cover everything. If you are 20 and under you may only need a quick sweep of powder or nothing at all. 5. Good skin care is an absolute must! If you have bad skin, nothing will help...build better skin upon a foundation (no pun intended) of a great cleansing regimen and then begin to use cosmetics to perfect your look: A. Gentle-soap free cleanser for dry to normal skin. B. Exfoliant with salytic acid for normal to oily and combo. C. Gentle toner for all skin - may need to dilute with water for sensitive skin or use diluted witch hazel. D. Good moisturizer. (I learned the above after much trial and error, and now my skin is in better shape than when I was a very young woman - and all I wear is a little foundation or concealer and powder all over to finish to. The secret to looking great and dewy faced everyday is great skin care and make-up in small doses! FYI - Price means nothing - L'Oreal is proof of that - I used very expensive make-up for years, only to learn that not taking care of my skin was the issue, not the make-up - your skin care regimen has EVERYTHING to do with how great you look.) Happy hunting everyone.

This foundation slides off my face during the day as my natural oils come through. Not long wearing at all. I can only get about 4-5 hours before it starts to break down and look patchy and cakey.

I've tried a lot of foundations. I haven't found one which compares to this. build able coverage and natural finish, as well as skin benefiting properties. the shade range is so large ur bound to find ur match. anyone who thinks drugstore isn't quality is WRONG

I love this foundation… so i went on a try spree to find new foundations for my new go to, from estee lauder, too faced born this way all the way to nyx can't stop won't stop, colorpop pretty fresh maybelline super stay which was my fav until they changed formula, this foundation was best over all the others, no cake face, even with mask wear this one smudged the least bc the finish was natural you couldn't really tell it came off bc it blended into my skin. But this came off the least. The only down side is I couldn't really find my shade, coverage is amazing!!!! I absolutely loved it. Perfect for oily or dry skin because it literally gives you the melted in your skin dewy look.

Flawless! Feels likes if I'm using a high end foundation by the way it performs. It has a paint smell but it doesn't bother me.

i hunted for a foundation that worked for me for so long before i found this one and now i'll never turn back. i have dry skin and this foundation works wonders. it blends nicely, provides just the right amount of light-medium coverage, and doesn't look cakey or make me feel like i have a lot of makeup on. it does get a little oily after a few hours but it's not visibly noticeable and is easily fixed by blotting papers. all in all i absolutely love this foundation.

I tried this product out and I fell in love with it. The pigmentation matches my skin well, in addition, I like that it is blend-able and build-able, light to medium coverage, and if you like to go full coverage, I would add that you try the powder with it because this is more of a light to medium coverage foundation. I like that it is light weight and goes on smoothly, it covers my discolorations and freckles well. It does not really cover my pimples and scars well and it isn't long wear so you do have to retouch it within that 8 hour wear. It can cause breakouts at times and sometimes it doesn't depending on how you apply it and on what weather day you wear it on.

I love how my skin looks in this foundation. I have aging skin with dryness and large pores but my skin looks naturally pretty when I wear True Match. It doesn't settle in my fine lines or slide into deeper wrinkles. Great product, great price. This is better than many high end products I've tried.

Once you get the right color it's perfect. I can't believe I'm barley trying this now. It's perfect amount of coverage, stays on good on my oily skin, and best of all doesn't skin into my small fine lines on my face! Give it a try, I think this may be one I'm sticking to for sure. Better than all my high end foundations

Seriously the best foundation I've used. Comparable to Estée Lauder double wear (the only other foundation that doesn't get cakey, greasy, or cause breakouts on me). This true match looks fantastic all day, doesn't break up on my skin, and is extremely friendly to acne prone skin. I've tried so many expensive foundations and wanted to save my wallet so started trying multiple drugstore options. This is AWESOME! I really love it and it can be sheered out to look like a bb cream or built up to be very close to full coverage. Super natural finish too, not too dewy and not too matte. It also doesn't settle into lines. I have acne pitted scarring and this foundation smooths them out really nicely with no primer underneath, and I just apply with my fingers. Highly recommend!

I've never been into full coverage foundation but at the same time want to coverup slight imperfections and create a good base for my favorites - blush and highlight! This is great sheer coverage for my oily/combination skin. Blends well in my experience of applying sparingly - can use the same shade in Winter and Summer because it blends so well. 4 stars because I have acne prone skin this is very much so "comedogenic."

Tarte recently changed their formula for the Amazonian Clay Foundation and I hate it so I'm hunting for a new foundation. I tried this after seeing it recommended for oily skin. I wish it had impressed me because it's a great price. It goes on very easily and it does have good coverage. However, it would not dry down and when I powdered my face to set everything, the foundation took on a gross, grainy appearance. When I tried to see if maybe I'd just applied too much powder and gently brushed some off of a small area, the foundation clumped up into little balls and fell off of my skin. I even primed my face with the Milk Hydrogrip Primer and yet this foundation just wouldn't stay put at all. It's a hard pass from me. Very disappointing.

This is so light and soft with good coverage as well as having really good color for my fair skintone. It holds up really well while I am at my deli job. I also wore it to the interview for my deli job. Whenever I go to dinner and I wanna look nice, then I wear this foundation.

I use a lot of Lancôme products, including foundation and have for years. I decided to try the True Match under eye concealer because I did not have one I liked... and I loved the True Match so much I decided to try the foundation. It was also a success. It goes on pretty shear but leaves you looking polished. It has a decent SPF and feels very light. I was lucky enough to find a great match... alabaster — the lightest cool shade. If someone is really pale I wonder if they will find a good match because I did not consider my skin tone to be the palest of the pales. Anyway... I am switching to these True Match products —great products at great prices. Did I mention the under eye concealer is the first one I have tried that looks natural, does crease or cake and does the job? It is true. P.S. I am 64 and have pretty good clear skin with wrinkles that you would expect for 64 years.

I have been using this product for a couple of years. It was ridiculously easy to find my match. This is a good basic foundation. It is better or as good as some of the high end brands I have tried.

I've tried many brands, even very expensive foundations, this is the best and so reasonably priced.

This is my favorite liquid foundation, even amongst high-end foundations that I have used. It has a light-to-medium coverage depending on how you build it up, and the finish is beautiful. I wouldn't recommend this to someone who wants full coverage, but for a nice wash of color, this certainly does the trick. I follow up with a NARS concealer for pesky spots and under eye.

This foundation has become my one and only! After Urban decay discontinued their Naked formula I Luckily found the Loreal true match foundation. It definitely is true match! My skin looks flawless with this foundation. Please never discontinue this formula it's PERFECT!
