Most Helpful Positive Review Decently pigmented for buildable look
The colors are not extremely pigmented (compared to Sugarpill) but are buildable so it is good if you are looking for color that will show, but can also be built up to be bolder.
Kyoto, the dark matte purple, is difficult to blend smoothly on its own. The shimmers all work smoothly, and Tempura (yellow) is very difficult to get to build up visibly. I layer other shadows under Kyoto to get a smooth blend (e.g., sake or emoji) and the light yellows maybe would do better on a yellow eyeliner base or a white base.
Packaging is very cute and mirror is nice. Shadows are not overly powdery and not too hard-pressed either. I like this for adding color to a look, or to spend time to build up a very bright look.
Most Helpful Critical Review No Pigment!
As a makeup user for over 20 years I've tried it all. I tend to stick to higher priced palettes but that doesn't mean there aren't good lower priced brands. My standard brands have been in low supply during this time, which is completely fine!...but I decided to try a few random brands. That being said this is the first time in my life I am returning a shadow palette because it is truly that useless. I tried two looks and was completely unable to pickup the color, even with proper priming. Several of the purple and yellow colors actually left nothing on my lid but a bit of colorless "dust." I should have read prior reviews but I was just so excited by the color story. The "tempura " color is nonexistent. I think it comes down to inconsistent quality control as I bought the "Smitten in Switzerland" palette at the same time and it's been amazing! It's colors lay down the first time, are buildable, blendable and significantly more vibrant than the Tokyo palette. So strange considering they look the opposite of how they behave. This just might be one of the brands where each product is a hit or miss and you have to keep trying before you get a win.

With a good primer and good brushes colors really show up! I definitely recommend it! :)

There was so much fall out, the wasabi was actually yellow and some of the other colors I had really build to get where I wanted it to be. Purple and orange were to best pigments though
If only I had more than two eyes

I have used every day. The colors pop, which is great when you wear glasses. It is easy to apply and blend.
I would definitely purchase more BH products.

Colors go on really well with urban decay eyeshadow primer
Grace from York (where I got the palette)
So cute and vibrant! I 100% reccomend this palette to someone who has sensitive skin, and who doesn't really want a pressed pigment!
Bella from El Paso
I use it a lot and it is very pigmented!! The colors are so bright!! A little goes a long way!!
Maggie from New York
I bought this pallet in person! I wanted to start doing some eyeshadow again and get some new ones since my others are old and expired. This one caught my eye because of the colors and I was looking for cruelty free makeup. I've used a couple of these colors and they are very pretty, they are just not as pigmented as I thought and you have to reapply sometimes. I am going to try wetting my brush next time I apply and see if that helps. But overall this is a good pallet and worth a try especially if you're a beginner or want to get into eyeshadows again. Not bad of a price either. :)

I love this palette so much! The colors are vibrant and blend amazingly. There's little too no fallout and just overall a bang for your buck!!

Really good eyeshadow palette for the price , bh cosmetics has good quality products
Disappointing but workable

The colors look amazing but when I actually used some they are not very pigmented and you really have to build up the colors or spray your brush with setting spray. It looks chalky, especially after several hours of wear.

I have fair skin so I can't speak if this is pigmented for deeper skin tones but the colors go on very bright for me and are true colors. There is some fall out but they blend great.
Unique colors for a rainbow palette

I love some of these shades, the oranges especially. However, the formula is So Chalky. There is tons of fall-out. Pigment is good but the formula is such that you have to build and build and build some more. I am not shy of bright colors. I want bang for my dollar.
I love all the colors.

I can't wait to use these colors on my summer tan.
I recommend this product I love the colors

I love the product and like to used it.

Some of the colors perform alright but the darker colors can be quite patchy. The formula is very powdery and there's not much pigment. I wouldn't purchase if you want good quality shadows, but if you're just starting out makeup then you may enjoy this

What first drew me to this palette was the vibrancy of the colors. I use a lot of blacks and greys, but wanted "poppy" colors for high contrast. Perhaps I'm using the wrong brushes, or maybe I'm not, but the pigment just isn't there. I find myself having to wet my brushes first, THEN going into the pan for color before putting it on. Once the color is on, it stays, but it just has a problem going on. I use ELF brushes for reference. I can't say if I would or would NOT recommend this palette, but I know I'll keep using it in tandem with my other palette that works well. (LimeCrime Immortalis)
Overall great but did stain my skin a bit

I love this product especially because I wanted bright colors. The colors were great, they were pigmented and the same color as in the pan. Unfortunately they are a bit dusty/chalky and some shades stained my skin a little bit.
Love love love

I've never used such a pretty pallet! There's no fall out. No creasing! No fading! Literally all day wear! Even the yellows and green! Wonderful product would recommend to any and everyone

I really liked the bright colors but the color I looked forward to most-wasabi- was not even close to what it should be. I was hoping for bright green shimmer but it's more of a yellow shimmer. Tempura is a really pale yellow, poorly pigmented and Kyoto is kind of a muddy purple, goes on patchy. The rest are really pretty. I always use eyeshadow primer so that helps them stay on and also helps the color pop. Some fallout and not super pigmented but, overall, I like it and think it's pretty good for the price.
For reference, I am a medium skin tone.

I used this once and tried all of the pink colors and none of them showed up. I was so confused and then I rubbed all of them on my hand and they barely show up. I'm so disappointed

I use this palette often. I enjoy using it by itself or combined with others to create cute looks. Having to work virtually and in person, I need my makeup to last and be visible for long periods of time. The colors look well on camera.

its good if ur just learning to do makeup, shimmers are better then the mattes
Good Palette, Decent Pigmentation
Madi from Michigan
I think this is an overall good palette. The shades are not as saturated as the photo shows. Most shades aren't very pigmented but can be built up nicely. I compared a few shades in this palette to a couple in the Morphe x Lisa Frank palette and I prefer this palette to that one. I'd say this is a good palette for people just wanting to try out more colorful eyeshadow looks.
Very pigmented but chalky
Ally N from Maize, Kansas
So much packaging and chalky. Because it's so chalky, it has a lot of fall out. They are very pigmented and easy to blend.
London from future
some shades are hard to work with and the colors are not as vibrant. a little disappointed in the payoff compared to other bh palettes I have. but I still like it.
