Most Helpful Positive Review Let me tell you bout my best friend... I nearly never go out of my way to review a product. I will only do so if it is 5 stars in my eyes and I have many good things to say about it...so where do I start with this product??
This is the most beautiful creation of face sunscreen I have ever come across, and so long as they keep making it, I'll be a lifelong customer. Here is why:
1) As someone with SUPER sensitive skin that can get their pores clogged even with things that rate 0 on the comedogenic rating scale, I have ZERO breakouts with this product. And as someone who has always struggled with my skin, and especially to find a quality BROAD SPECTRUM and MINERAL sunscreen for my face, this one hits it totally out of the park. I kid you not - this is the most amazing face sunscreen.
2) It is light coverage...it gives a nice tint if you want to do no make-up, but I actually LOVE to double it as a primer with my Bare Minerals original loose powder mineral foundation. I just do my regular skincare routine, apply a few drops of this to my hand, and apply it all over my face. It blends in SO easily, NEVER EVER looks or feels cakey...I mean, it's like a serum. It just glides on and sinks in and it's like you aren't wearing anything except it also leaves a nice glow. Be sure to shake the bottle every time you use it and close it after each use. I also use a small bit for my hairline - blends in just as easily.
3) They tell you to reapply but honestly, you don't need to. Mineral sunscreen is effective for me when I apply once a day, but don't take my word for it...try it for yourself. I have tested myself to know that unless I'm gonna be on the beach all day or something, I really don't need to reapply sunscreen. This is broad spectrum so it protects from UVA and UVB, and the SPF factor is also a nice and safe number - 50 is plenty.
4) This never melts into my eyes or stings. Yes, it has an interesting smell...you get over it when you realize how much you adore the product.
5) One bottle will last you a lo
Most Helpful Critical Review Not for me This might be wonderful for you depending on your skin routine, if you wear make-up, skin tone. etc. For me it clogged my pores, caused a breakout, went on white and remained with white residue visible on my face for the whole day even when used sparingly. Itchy and dry skin patches occurred each of the days I tried to use the product. This was the only change to my skin routine at the time so I know it was this and not the other items I use. I got it because it was liquid, non-tinted, and said it was both gluten free and non-comeogenic as I don't like to wear make-up and wanted a clear, clean product.
The bottle requires vigorous shaking to mix the ingredients before each use and has little beads inside to assist which is nice, though the dropper got clogged with the ingredients. It was hard to find details about this product before purchasing, but I did read it is non-comeogenic when it is not. It goes on thick and could be great if you are someone who likes to wear more generous layers of make-up over top! I used it following the directions, but it was definitely not meant for my skin and I had to return it.

I used this for a few weeks with no issues. It felt light on my skin and had a nice matte finish, but was a little drying. I don't have sensitive skin, but suddenly I developed severe contact dermatitis everywhere this was placed. My face swelled up and itched like nothing I have ever felt. Had to take massive doses of Benadryl and my skin is still healing a week later. Good for you if you don't react to it, but had to warn people just in case.
What happened?? 1
Why change something not broken from Oregon
This was my HG sunscreen for well over a year. Then they changed the "packaging" with no supposed change to the formula. Something was added. I now get itchy bumps/welts minutes after applying. Disappointing to have to start the search over for a natural matte (but not drying) tinted sunscreen that doesn't break me out.
love mchelle products 5
ultafan from new england
I love that ulta brought back MyChelle products and needed the spf items for the summer. Which worked fantastic. But how come ulta didn't keep bringing back more MyChelle products. I wanted to restock some spf products and now there all gone except for this one. Why not bring back more MyChelle products?

I don't have skin sensitivity or allergies but when I use this product I wake up in the middle of the night with itching, burning skin. It's flaming red, then develops into bumps and whiteheads. The first time I thought I got sunburn, the second I blamed retinol, but finally I figured out it was the sunscreen. Also it does pill if you apply makeup over it but is OK if you use a sponge and don't rub. Do a patch test on your neck first!! I do love the serum consistency and the tint is a great color corrector.

I just tried it for the first time, love it! Great buildable coverage and minimal smell.
No Longer A Favorite 1
AnnaCA from Orange, CA
I have been buying this tinted MyChelle SPF for over a year because I loved the ingredients and how matte it made skin look since I am on the oilier side, but just recently, after they had changed their packaging, my skin started to develop red, itchy bumps and whiteheads. I'm a very minimalist person when it comes to skincare and this was the only thing that had changed after opening a new box of this stuff. Very disappointed that they changed the formula. I will no longer be buying this again.
My Personal Favorite 5
Nicole from TX
I use this instead of foundation. It's super Matte so dry skin won't like this but for my oily girls this is great and I especially like to use this directly after moisturizing! I've gone through 3 bottles
Fine by me 4

Great
Just horrible 1
Mi from Germany
One of the worst SPFs I unfortunately bought. Creates a thick ugly layer on my skin, doesn't work with any of my moisturizers/serums. I cannot put any makup on, rolls and crumbles bleeee. Dries out my skin, burns, not suitable for sensitive types.
This is a staple in my morning routine 5
Helxi from Northern VA
This skin tint provides a light coverage with spf. This has enough coverage to even out your skin but it doesn't cover spots or hyperpigmentation. It sinks into the skin and doesn't look like you have any foundation on. I do use concealer under the eyes and around my nose.
Loved it but I'm allergic 4
DermPA from California
I actually love this product and as a dermatology physician I have been recommending it to my patients. However, I unfortunately developed an allergy to it and will reconsider recommending it to my patients from now on.
Can't get past the smell. 1
KatyCT from CT
I bought this based on a recommendation from a YouTube video and I threw it away. In general, I am not sensitive to odors, but I can't stand this one. It also made my skin look chalky. I know some love this. I wish I did, but it's a no from me.
Used to be perfect, now it stinks 1
Curlygrlcouture from United States
This used to be the best sunscreen, which I happily used for years. It was perfect. Gentle light watery formula with high SPF that has great coverage. I didn't even need to wear foundation over it. I recently bought three new bottles and each one stinks like it's gone bad mixed with what smells like a chemical off-gassing odor. I contacted the company and they insufficiently addressed my concerns. Something has definitely changed. I did try putting it on my skin and it doesn't spread as easily as it used to and the scent is just horrible on my skin so I've had to wash it off. I am disappointed that I can no longer use this and with the company's response to several reviews about this issue.
Great but pricey 4
Skincared from Boston, MA
Pros:
-Tinted & 3 shades
-Matte finish
-Dries quickly
-Can double as a make up primer
-Tint gives some coverage and can serve as a foundation for a "no make up" look
Cons:
-Price (expensive for 1 ounce; you need to use 2 full dropperfuls to get adequate spf coverage)
-Smell (metallic odor; goes away quickly, but may be a turn off for some)
Overall, good for what it is, but when you break it down price per ounce, things like SuperGoop or LPS Sunscreens end up being cheaper and may give similar results. I would get this again, but only when it's on sale or with a good coupon.
Interesting suncscreen 4

Holy Grail Physical Sunscreen 5
Lizzie2021 from IL
I bought this after experiencing melasma from heat exposure. Since chemical sunscreen just redirects the suns energy to heat, that is the last thing I need. I still use a chemical sunscreen first, then I apply this physical sunscreen on top. I've tried Elta, Skinceuticals, and other physical sunscreens. I found them all to be clumpy and greasy over my chemical sunscreen. This sunscreen applies easily, leaves a light tint, which evens out my skintone. It dries down fast and even works well under my concealer. I would highly recommend this sunscreen. Make sure you have applied your moisturizer first.
Best sunscreen ever!! 5
Peace from Shelton, CT
I use the tinted medium every time I go out of my house. It goes on smoothly and makes my skin look dewy. My face breaks out from most products but I can wear this all day long with no breakouts!
Bad skin reaction 1
Nina đź’‹ from Chicago
I tried this product out for two weeks straight and it dried out my skin so bad. Kept getting flaky patches all over and the longer I used it the worse it got. No amount of moisturizer and exfoliating helped. I wanted to like it from all the good reviews it had but I ended up returning it.
Allergic reaction 1
Sunscreen user from Rochester NY
Loved this product. Color, texture and protection were just what I was looking for.
Unfortunately my skin reacted in a severe way. My face turned bright red and itched for days. It also looks inflamed. I tried it twice just to make sure because I liked the product so but the reaction was the same. There's an ingredient that I must be allergic to. It took a week of care recover.
Something has changed... 1
Colleen from NC
A while back, I tried this and LOVED IT. I'm sensitive to smells, so I was super excited to find this because it didn't have one, and I loved how it made my skin look. As I came close to the end of that bottle, I ordered two more. Went to use the first one and the smell was both odd and completely repulsive. I read another review on here that described it as "the smell of new carpet". I'd say that's pretty close, although that's actually being kind. Thought maybe it was just a fluke but the second bottle smelled the same way. So disappointed. Pitched both bottles and will never buy again. Clearly something has changed.
Nice tint, gets clumpy 3
Frankie M. from Las Vegas
I tried this purchase but didn't like how it clumps up and I really couldn't apply it with a makeup brush. If you don't apply it with your hands it won't blend.
Cakey, stinky 1
E from Seattle
This stuff is terrible. If you put on the appropriate amount it is cakey and dry looking. Definitely accentuâtes pores and texture. It flakes especially noticeable around hairline. There is nothing flattering about this. Think again if you plan to mix it with something moisturizing because you won't get the sun protection you need. This and Australian Gold are the absolute worst. Beware the influencers who push these. No good.
Be AWARE!!! 1
A Phillips from St George UT
I've used this product for a year or longer, I ran out and purchased this week. I developed I severe skin reaction that caused me to blister all over my face, hot to the touch and itches!! They've clearly changed the ingredients, buyer BEWARE!
Pills! 1
SLS404 from GA
This is the worst product! First of all, the scent is awful. Then, no matter what I applied to my face prior to the sun shield, or how long I let the products absorb before applying it, it balled up. I tried applying it all different ways…still pilled. The only way that came close to working was dabbing it on with a damp beauty blender very quickly, but then the layer was so thin I questioned the effectiveness of the spf. Once it dries down, you can't touch it because it will just ball up worse than it does when you apply it.
This didn't play nice with my other skincare 1
JDVisMe from Detroit, MI
I wanted to love this, but unfortunately it did NOT mix well with my regular skincare routine. It balled up and was just a hot mess. I tried it several times but right out of the gate it didn't work. Throughout the day I was pulling balls of product off my skin especially around the hairline. If I can't trust that my sunscreen has spread and set properly then there's no point in continuing with it, so I just tossed it.
