Apply to skin in sweeping motions from head to toe using a tanning mitt. Wash hands thoroughly after application. Shower off guide color after 1-4 hours, depending on desired end-result.
Precautions: This product does not contain a sunscreen and does not protect against sunburn. Repeated exposure of unprotected skin while tanning may increase the risk of skin aging, skin cancer and other harmful effects to the skin even if you do not burn. Tanologist advises a patch test 24 hours before use. Do not apply on broken or irritated skin. Avoid contact with eyes. If reaction occurs, discontinue use/seek medical advice. Wash hands thoroughly after application.

Need for NYE
I got this product complimentary from TanologistTan. I like the mousse formula because it's easy to see where I stopped apply it as I'm applying. I always use a mit to get a more even application. I will use it for NYE so my legs have some tan.
