Most Helpful Positive Review Finally Found The Perfect Daytime Face Cream!! I absolutely love how this moisturizer makes my skin look and feel. I was trying different foundations at Ulta because I couldn't find one that was long wear, full coverage that didn't look too heavy or matte on my skin. After removing my makeup, an Ulta associate used this cream to put under the makeup I was trying. Found out it wasn't the makeup, it was the moisturizer. My Estee Lauder Doublewear blends perfectly with this moisturizer and gives my skin an even texture with a little glow. Paired with Clinique loose powder even better :) I even go without makeup on weekends now and my skin looks healthy and glows!
Most Helpful Critical Review Too thick for a water cream I got the day and night sets, this was in the night set. I was excited since the other water cream I love is not sold at Ulta and this one was. It says its a "water" cream… like their C.E.O. Vitamin C cream its just too thick for oily skin. It spreads more then the Vitamin C cream but it still leaves a layer of grease on your face… not as thick as their other one but still when you rub it in you still feel it coating your face. It kind of has the slight cooling feeling like water creams have, but for my oily skin I like a cream-water cream or not, to spread well when rubbed in and not feel like a have a additional layer of oil on my face. I reserve any kind of added oil/grease for a serum. If you have combination skin it should be amazing, too heavy for oily skin, but i don't think it's really heavy enough for dry skin. But for oily skin I would pass, specially in a hot area, theres other creams that spread out and don't leave a layer of oil on your face for the same amount of money.

I used this for years with ni problems. when I seen this on sale I looked at the reviews which mentioned it had a bad smell and seperated. So as soon as I bought it I checked to see and was so disappointed. Its not sepperating it wS molded. It had fur on the dicilored part. And yes it smells very bad like bad food in your fridge bad. I brought it to the counter to return it and all the girls were in shock at how awful it was.

I got a sample size of this. It was separated when I opened it so I mixed it but it separated again on my fingers. It's a strange green color with an algae smell. I'm not sure if this is normal but it's really off-putting and I definitely won't buy it.

This has made my skin so baby soft! I'm actually really surprised at how smooth and soft my skin is from using this. The cream did separate a little like other reviews mentioned, but I just mix it back up on my fingertips before applying and have had zero issues.

I received a sample of this and was so excited to try it. I'm super disappointed because it separates really badly. like a whole layer of water on top. I mixed it thinking it just needed that, but as soon as I tried to get some out, it separates again in my fingers. I didn't mind the smell, but it doesn't absorb into my very dry skin and caused my BB cream to pill horribly. it also made my skin look really flaky and peeling by the end of the day because it had so little hydration to it.

I received a sample of this cream and I noticed the discoloration and separation but I just stirred it up with a little spatula and it was fine. Didn't stop me from buying a full size jar and the color, texture, scent are all good. My skin is fussy and I have to be careful with skin care ingredients or I will get eczema/dermatitis. I also can't use heavy creams or I break out. I like gel creams and hyaluronic acid mixes and this SR cream is very nice. It has not caused any issues. I've been using it for several months. I often mix it with a serum depending on what my skin needs that day and it mixes well. I haven't seen significant lightening but will keep using this jar of cream to see if it helps.

Mediocre overall and not hydrating from Chicago
I had high hopes for this moisturizer as I love other products from this brand, however, I was very disappointed. The cream goes on nicely but the hydration doesn't last more than an hour, and I find myself having to reapply or layer with another cream.

I got this as a sample and I loved it! I bought the full sized bottle and I honestly don't think I will be buying any other cream. It's hydrating and gentle enough for my sensitive, acne prone skin. I wear it after my facials/chemical peels, every morning and night. I also never had a problem with the smell or it separating.

I used to love this-it was light but moisturizing, took care of my fine lines. It had a very light cucumber scent. Last jar I bought was different-it smells horrible- like the sickeningly sweet smelling disinfectant used to clean public restrooms! I reached out to Sunday Riley and their explanation was bc the products are made in small batches there can be a variation in scents. Not sure that could account for such a huge difference in scent. The last jar I bought (& it will be my last) also caused me to break out-never again!

I LOVED this moisturizer the first time I purchased it. It made my skin look and feel amazing! I bought another jar before the first ran out because I didn't want to be without it. Around a month after I purchased it I opened it for the first time and it looked disgusting. In the original jar the cream was a light blue color and smelled like cucumber. The second jar was a gross green/brown, smelled off, and had a weird watery film on it. I saw other similar reviews online and never got a satisfactory response from Sunday Riley on what the problem is. I will no longer waste money on this product. I haven't found another moisturizer I like near as much, but I won't risk it happening again. I use a lot of Sunday Riley products and I'm always nervous to have another quality control issue.

I don't understand all the bad reviews for this cream, it is my absolute favorite moisturizer. The smell is a little strange, but it has grown on me after awhile. It absorbs quickly and leaves my skin super soft. I love that my skin feels so hydrated and it doesn't leave any greasy feeling. It has also made my fine lines less noticeable. The formula does separate a little bit, but that is normal. all you have to do is take the little spatula that comes with it and stir it a little bit.

I received a sample of this and it was clearly old and rancid. It was discolored and had fluid floating on top. The replacement jar was also rancid but in a different consistency. They both smelled bad. The final sampled I tried was better but still off. It smells strange and it's separated too. I felt like SR didn't care and kept giving me the "small batch" excuse.
It's a good idea but horribly executed.

If you have sensitive acne prone skin then I'd stay away from this product. After just 2 uses I broke out with tiny red bumps all over my cheeks. Plus it doesn't absorb into the skin and made my skin super oily. Overpriced IMO. I did pass it on to my mom who has had no issues with it so far.

Moisturizer is a bit tacky and also has a very strong fish like smell. It stays on top of the skin, wouldn't recommend for day time.

I wasn't sure what to think of this product when I first got it. I hesitate to try new items on my face because it is so sensitive. This product was not an issue at all. It goes on smoothly and seemed to really absorb into my skin. I woke up with my skin feeling very smooth and not greasy at all. A little bit goes a long way. I would definitely buy this again and recommend to others.

I have been using this cream for a week now received it in a BoxyCharm) and I have been using it every night before bed. Overnight it soaks in like a dream. I have dry skin so when I wake up id rather be an oil slick than be tight and flaky. Luckily, this is something I'm between that. When I wake up, I can immediately start putting my makeup on in the morning and all of the powders just seem to sink in flawlessly with the moisturizer. I don't know if I would buy this particular one again just because the price is pretty steep for something I feel I could also find for a cheaper price that does the same thing.

I use this in combination with Sunday Riley's Good Genes. To be honest, I don't know if it's one of these products alone, or the combo of both, but it's the first time in my life that I can see a true difference in my skin from using a product. My skin just looks clearer, brighter, and newer! Could be just me, but I'm super skeptical, and these products will stay in my rotation as long as they keep making them!

I recieved this in a Boxycharm and I was excited to try it. I've had a sample before but I wanted to to use for longer period of time. This product is filled with excellent ingredients for the skin. The smell is not a nice one reminds me of soil and green vegetables. I really wanted to love this. I have to force myself to use it (Idk why I do that, It's just I want the benefits from the ingredients). The problem is that it's greasy and it sits on top of my skin never fully absorbing. When I use it I do so at night. The directions say use twice a day. There's no way I could use this during the day. I also don't think my skin looks or feels that great in the morning. I've had cheaper and even drugstore creams work so much better on my skin. I don't think I'll be using this anymore.

So I love SR's Good Genes but this product was a let down. First off, the smell is very off putting to me and I could never really get past it. It smells very 'green' like vegetables or dirt. I also don't feel it did much for my skin, like it didn't absorb very well. I got a full size in my boxycharm and I was not tempted to switch my from regular moisturizer at all.
So glad I took the plunge to buy. Love it 5

I'd been hearing so many wonderful things about Sunday Riley. Specifically, this moisturizer. I'm so glad I made the switch. It makes my skin feel so smooth and hydrated. And most importantly, a little bit goes a long way. Very important to me when I have to pay a bit more. Also, the packaging is gorgeous. I felt like I was opening up an Apple product it was so good.
