Most Helpful Positive Review My Favorite Foundation...EVER!!!
For years I was searching for a foundation that actually matched me and I found this a little over a year ago and I fell IN LOVE with it! It's so pigmented and just lays beautifully on every skin color (I also work for Ulta so I shade match this A LOT). My recommendation for primers would be the Hangover primer by Too Faced because I will tell you one thing: if you have really dry skin like I do, this foundation MUST have a moisturizing primer. Like seriously moisturizing. No serums or primers with silicone. For starters, it doesn't stick well with silicones and honestly, most silicone primers aren't good because they give your makeup a perfect surface to slip off of. Because of this foundation's matte finish and drying effect, having a moisturizing primer, even if your skin tends to be on the combination to slightly oily side, it helps counteract the matte finish and gives you a full coverage matte look without a cakey feeling or the scaling dry skin effect. Also, this foundation will work as a more natural foundation with very little product. For full coverage, maybe three pumps. But I used to use four and that was too much and I ended up wasting product. For a light look, no more than one and a half. And even that can be too much because it really is meant to be full coverage. But if you are looking for something that can be somewhat of an in between, this will work for you. And lastly, set it with powder! If you want it to last, it will if you use a moisturizing primer (if your oily and have big pores, Benefit's Porefessional works wonders. It's not super moisturizing so it might do you good to combine the Hangover and Porefessional because again, YOU NEED A MOISTURIZING PRIMER) and a good setting powder. I personally like the Dermablend translucent loose setting powder, but for those with beautiful dark complexions, I recommend the Cover FX loose setting powder. But starting off well and ending well will make this foundation work like a dream on your skin!
Most Helpful Critical Review Still disappointed....why try to fix what wasn't broken?
After a few months of giving the Teint Idole Ultra 24H a chance, I'm still just as upset as the first time I tried it - this foundation is a disaster. I am a long time devoted wearer of the previous, perfect Teint Idole 14 Hour formula. The prior 14 hour formula was absolutely fantastic, I'd never experienced a more perfect foundation, the holy grail. It provided flawless, full coverage that somehow felt light yet covered my large pores. I was astounded when Lancome replaced it with this horrific 24Hour spackle that doesn't even resemble the prior formula. This 24 Hour foundation is heavy, sticky, sinks into pores and emphasizes them, and what's most startling is that it doesn't last as long as the 14 H formula! It is more difficult to blend even after trying different methods, it makes no difference, it's not even comparable to the prior formula. I tried several different shades to most closely match my beloved 14 H and found one that was fine. But this new 24H formula is so disappointing, my face just doesnt look the same. Ok, seems a little silly to be so frustrated about a foundation, but truly this new formula took away a foundation that was tried, true, and dependable. Now my search continues and I will have to look beyond Lancome. PLEASE bring back the previous formula that , from other reviews, apparently many, many other women dearly miss as well!

I have oily skin and skin that has little to no pores, blemishes etc. However, this foundation makes it look as though I have huge pores and settles into even the tiniest of lines I didn't even know existed. Also, it clings onto any kind of dry patch and makes it look bad. I love the finish of this foundation, as it's more of a natural finish than matte but I have tried to make it work for so long and I just can't. It also rubs off very easily. I can slightly graze my face, and that chunk of foundation is completely off. I can't even finish putting on lip liner before the foundation on my chin is gone. I'm very sad about this foundation :(
Best Foundation I've Ever Used
jkat from Detroit
I don't NEED full coverage foundation. I mostly use this to spot correct on a daily basis and do a full face on special occasions. It is marked as full coverage but I would say "build able to full coverage" is slightly more accurate. Depending on application style you can have full coverage or a bit more sheeted out if desired. Best thing for me and my mom who is a completely different complexion is we've never found another brand that has a color that is so perfect it completely blends in meaning I can use it to spot correct. And while it is a matte finish (which isn't my preferred—I would LOVE if they made a more radiant formulation) I love the longevity of wear. I often use it to touch up acne scars on my chin and after a whole day of constantly touching my face, the foundation is still there and it is not drying nor does it cause breakouts on my acne prone skin. Pro tip: for perfectly set extra full coverage set with the powder foundation in the matching shade.
Not Full Coverage & Orange!
Sarah from Chicago
Definitely not full coverage, very light and soft. Also, be prepared for it to gradually get darker after it sets! I tested this product in store and it matched perfectly. After I got home I decided to try it out. I washed and primed my face and applied the foundation. At first, it was still a perfect match to my skin tone. However, after about 15 minutes I noticed that it started to look darker with an orange tint.. this was before I applied any bronzer. I will definitely be returning and switching back to Estée Lauder, it's MUCH better.
Love how this feels and looks on my face.

Great foundation. Little on the expensive side but it is worth it

I was recommended this product by staff, but not sure they took into account I am at least twice their age. This didn't work well for my mature skin. I will return. I wanted to love this!
Not the Best for All Day
Faith from Phoenix, AZ
I tried the under eye concealer a few years ago and liked the coverage so I decided to try this and as another comment says it looks good at first, but I don't have dry skin and I feel dried out after 5 hours. I feel all texture you can't even see by night time lol I keep getting new breakouts or whiteheads? It's the same stuff I got using makeup revolution foundation. I don't think it's my urban decay setting spray that is for glow. I think it's from the sunscreen which I don't think is even necessary at all in foundation. Lovely packaging! It's just not worth the price tag:(

Was looking for a foundation that looks natural cover as well unless long this is none of those things.
Where has this been all my life?
xoxomisslee from Florida
I typically use Tarte Amazonian Clay foundation. It has great coverage but so heavy and thick (one coat applied) and made my face feel heavy, thick. My face was so gross and greasy within an hour. I used it with Dermablend primer, Dermablend setting powder and Porefessional Finishing Spray. NOW I've used the same routine except with this foundation and it is Amazing!!!! I have not blotted my face with blue oil sheets at all so far today!! (3PM on my 8-5 shift). Any other foundation I've used is be on my 3rd or 4th sheet by now. My face also feels light and I did 2 coats for extra coverage. I have ice pick scarring and this looks good on me. Hopefully this review helps others with a heaviness and shine problem (with setting powder AND spray!)
Best Foundation for Oily Mature Skin
Blueangel51 from Southern Ca
I have been wearing this foundation for years and cannot find one better. Buildable so you don't look like you are wearing a mask. I have mature oily skin and this helps with the oil without showing every pore and wrinkle. For extremely oily skin, use a good primer. Easy to remove with a cleanser.
Like it but i can feel it

I love how this looks on my skin. Finally found the right shade of 130n but i can feel it on my skin. It's not as heavy as some but not as light as fentys which i don't feel at all but doesn't have a shade for me and is cakey looking. I returned it. I may try their stick foundation see it It's any better.
Doesn't stay on

If you brush your hand against your face or cry be aware it will come off. It isn't long wearing
Horrifying after 8 hours
Meghan from MN
Initially, this foundation looks great: gives a beautiful soft focus finish, lightweight with good coverage, minimizes pores.
If you have oily skin, over the course of the day, it will settle into any lines or wrinkles and makes it look like you're wearing an old lady mask by the time you get home. I've tried it alone and also with several different primers and setting powders and the settling keeps happening. It's really awful. Won't buy again. Not worth the cost.
In love with my Lancôme Foundation

The foundation is breathable, offers full coverage, and looks amazing on my skin. I have combination/oily skin and this lasted all day. My new favorite!

I love trying new makeup. I've been on a foundation kick. I came back to this one. I wear a mix of 100 and 140. I love how it goes on and I love how it sets. I wear tarte and tatcha primer underneath it. I do touch up around my nose once but I laugh hard and crinkle my nose so it would happen with anything I wear. I highly suggest trying it. Ulta has a really good return policy. also.. try swatches on your arm then go outside and look at them. inside lighting can be deceiving.
I would buy this again

My fellow skintellectuals will be just as appalled by this. Wondering why your skin is dry and flaky after wearing this? Because it's literally destroying your skin
This is my go to

I was looking for something in place of my Guerlain that they discontinued and this fit the bill. It's creamy, light, but a full coverage that hides all my biggest insecurities lol. So I'm happy with it!
