Doesn't come off like tubing mascara—returned
I've used L'Oréal double extend tubing mascara for probably the last decade. I've tried other mascaras, but kept going back to it because it is sooo easy to wash off at night, no raccoon eyes or traces left over. However, I only use the mascara end and not the white first coat so I always feel waste...

Bought on a whim
I was looking for a new mascara and saw this one in store hoping it would be a new favorite. Went home and tried it and was absolutely disgusted with how it looked on the lashes. The tubing effect works great for length but does not seperate the lashes well so they clump together making your lashes look like wet spider legs. (Not the look I prefer). Abviously since its a tubing mascara you cant go back and fix it with a spooly to seperate the lashes. It was easy to remove, so that was a plus.

Let me preface this by saying I've never owned a product from Tarte Cosmetics that i didn't like (usually LOVE, actually)… before this mascara. That's why I was so stunned by this mascara. It went on well enough. Provided decent coverage, length, volume… basically all the things you want a mascara to have when you're finished applying it. But let me tell you, when I say this mascara flakes worse than any I've ever worn before, I'm not kidding in the least. Im dually upset because I had purchased another full size tubing mascara by Tarte before I tried this one. My mistake. BIG mistake because they're not cheap. I have this one in a sample or deluxe sample size. The one I purchased in full size might be in a yellow tube though… so fingers crossed the formulation is different because this one is awful. I don't even want to wear it again to get a photo for this review. So sad!!
My favorite mascara!
Adds great volume and length. Does not flake easily. Fairly easy to wash off with soap and water, but I always use an eye makeup remover or lotion to get the last bit off.
Panda Eyes
so i got this mascara as a burthday gift from ulta, and i put it on and it was fine. i wore it to school and i didnt check on it. i came home and used the bathroom, i look in the mirror and there is mascara ALL OVER my underye. i thought that the tubing was supposed not do that and that it was suppoed to come off in like one piece, but that is not the case.

I never ever leave reviews but I'm so happy with this purchase! I have very oily skin and usually my mascara is underneath my eyes by the end of day. I used this on a very hot and humid day and nothing. Going on 12 hours and it's still hasn't really smudged. Will repurchase!
