YES!!! When I first got the Ulta blender, I had no way of keeping the thing clean/away from contaminants in between use. When I found this set, I said FINALLY! It's really just what I needed! I get an extra blender and I am happy lol. And it's ADORABLE!
After watching a couple tutorials on cleaning these guys, my blender is virtually spotless; so, it actually cleans very well (it's annoying, but necessary for all sponges)! Just remember it won't dry inside the case.

Stars for the case - None for the sponge. I Purchased this because I needed a traveling case for my beauty blender and didn't want to pay $20 for one. I almost took the ulta sponge with me on my trip and THANK GOD I didn't. It was absolutely horrible to work with. So I started by wetting the sponge which they say to do for more sheer coverage. It collapsed right away! You'll be able to see in the pictures. This is after ONE use. There was no bounce back at all. The sponge just sort of plopped on my skin and it really just laid product right where you placed it and didn't really assist with blending at all. As you bounce, bounce, bounce the sponge on your face it flattens, flattens, flattens and doesn't reform.
That being said, the case is pretty great. It does pop open easily, so if you're packing it make sure its secure where it is otherwise your sponge might jump ship, but really I would've paid about this price for a case and found it worth it. I will not be re-purchasing any Ulta brand sponges, but would suggest for people to buy the case and throw the sponge out.

This beauty blender is so, so good for the price. Absolutely love the travel case, it is so helpful for travel and keeping it clean in my dirty makeup bag lol. The beauty blender is the perfect size for applying base makeup and it becomes so fluffy when wetted. Love this!

The sponge has been great as a daily use for my tinted moisturizer! It is pretty firm when you first get it but after a few washes it softens up a bit.

I bought this specifically for travel, and while I love the concept and it works exactly like it is supposed to, protecting the sponge and my other cosmetics/brushes from getting makeup on them while in the same bag, it is big, bigger than an egg. Putting it in my travel makeup case was pushing it and I ended up putting it in a ziplock instead, and if I do that I don't really need the case. It would be great if I could get these in different sizes too, a medium and a small since this one is definitely a large.
