Very light weight and smooth in texture.it gives u a radiant look like you have healthy skin.but the color of this foundation is way different from other Mac's foundations.i wear nc15 or nw13 in studio fix fluid.i got this in nc15(I was gonna give this to my friend as a gift but the deli every day was way passed her birthday!!:/)I thought I would give it a try so I didn't return it.nc15 in this foundation has more pinker tone to it,and less yellow,it's more like a neutral tone, shade wise it's lighter then studio fix nc15.i suggest if u have a shop nearby you should definitely go get color match.or you can order two colors and see which one fits u better. there are couple things I would like to point out as in my experience. First of all I suggest you to use a dense flat top buffing brush, not any sponge, cos it will soak up the product and unnecessarily sheer out your foundation more.i have 196 brush as well as other dense buffing brush, them both work fine.but 196 does a great job.you dot foundation on your most problematic area turn use dabbing motion to apply the foundation, then blend out along jaw line,it's perfect. If you have dry skin, moisturize your skin well as you usually do,then use a dense flat top foundation buffing brush dab and use a patting motion to put on foundation evenly.you can skip the primer if you moisturize your dry skin enough.if u use a luminous setting powder it will help you hold up better, not don't use mattifying powder if you don't want to lose the dewiness. For oily skin,I suggest you put on your regular moisturizer to keep your skin hydrated, then apply matte primer before you apply this foundation,if you like the dewiness that this foundation offers,u can use a luminous powder to set,so u will still have matte face in touch and dewiness in look.you might have to use powder to set especially if you have oily nose and t zone area, cos the foundation will break down in few hours around your nose. Overall this is a great foundation that is comfortable to wear, you can feel you skin very soft and u can feel your skin can breath .mineralize skin finish powder is great to pair with this foundation. Btw if you apply prep and prime skin primer or strobe cream under this foundation it will make u look like if you have a super greasy face, especially with the prep and prime.
I went to a local makeup store that has a mac counter called Douglas. There I was just looking for my mac shade reference. I thought I'd also buy the Studio Fix Fluid, since its so raved about. When I asked the woman who was working there to shade match me, she did so, and she was a very nice lady. She recommended this foundation rather than the Studio Fix, because she said it can accentuate any dry patches. Although I have combination skin, I still want to steer clear from something that will accentuate something I don't want. So I decided to try it. So the next day, I tried it on. When my 10 year old daughter saw me, she said "Mom what happened to your skin? It looks horrible!" Now, she didn't know I was wearing a new foundation. And she's 10! It accentuated my fine lines around my eyes so badly, went into my creases. It also made my skin weirdly bumpy, when it really isn't. I am 31 years old, have fairly good skin regarding wrinkles, and have no pimples. This was making my face look so texturized! It claims that it's lightweight, my face felt like I had pounds of makeup on, although that was not the case! Overall I am extremely disappointed by this product and I returned it. I love Mac lipsticks, and their bronzer (Mineralized Skin Finish in Give me Sun), it's great!! I love it!! So it's not that I don't like Mac products. I love their blushes as well!! But this foundation just didn't do it right!!

Purchased due to dx of the mineralize foundation. The product is a good option. However, still prefer Mineralize.

Super natural makeup! It's not heavy looking. I love it.

I wanted something light coverage and lightweight, which I suppose this is both of those things but it just does not sink into the skin so it looks bad and wipes off so easily throughout the day. wouldn't recommend

Initially got this foundation as a gift from my friend and ever since am totally hooked on this amazing product from mac. This Foundation has my skin looking flawless like a true goddess with the beautiful "Dewy" finish on my skin tone. Additionally it hydrates and protects the skin with daily SPF, what more of a perfect combination, The Studio waterweight foundation is undoubtedly an "ICONIC" piece of Mac Cosmetic!.. Love it, love it !!!

I bought this because I needed sunblock for summer and I like a little coverage too. I love it so much that I often wear it for evenings and outings now, too. It protects from the sun all day but it will transfer to masks and clothing. I used to have very oily skin (which is now more balanced due to spironolactone) and I think I don't think I would have appreciated this foundation as much with very oily skin. I let the dropper drip onto my fingertips, dab the foundations in a bunch of spots on my face, then blend it in circular motion with a pretty stiff bareminerals foundation brush. Cream blush goes on beautifully overtop.

I am new to MAC foundation and this one is a loser. I feel it does not provide a natural finish. It leaves my skin looking full.

Although the product itself is okay the applicator is difficult to use. I loved the pump applicator but it is no longer available. Please rethink the applicator. This current design needs to go back to the drawing board!

I purchased this to replace my MAC Mineralize and I am disappointed. MAC Mineralize had better coverage, was silkier, with a more hydrating finish. This foundation appears cakey on my face and does not blend as well. I have fairly good skin; small pores, minimal discoloration, but I am older (43), so I need the hydration and wrinkle smoothing. I also prefer a more sheer/natural finish. I'm currently searching for another foundation to match the Mineralize I love but is no longer available.

Love this foundation but needs to come out with darker shades

Quick, light, blendable, breathable coverage for those natural easy no make up days when you're in a hurry... Doesn't break down and last all day.

It came in a dropper and was like a water liquid with very light almost pointless coverage. The color was not for me and the amount of money for this is rediculous for what it was. Went with a $10 bottle of a different brand that is almost perfect.

This foundation works great for light weight coverage and has an spf besides

After my favorite Mineralize makeup (with a pump applicator) was discontinued I tried this makeup. The applicator does not work AT ALL..I do like the makeup so I ended up putting it into the empty mineralize makeup bottle..a lot of unnecessary work on my part for the price! Please bring back the Mineralize foundation!!

I love the MAC studio fix foundation, so I thought I would give this a try as something lighter to wear to work-the hospital. I have oily/combination skin prone to adult acne, so for me this product was not a favorite. My skin felt like I had just wiped baby oil on it and it did not absorb.

This foundation is so light weight yet covers everything well. Highly recommend it!

I bought this foundation on a whim, and I'm so glad I did! Works great with my oily skin and gives me medium coverage. Would highly recommend!

i have been wearing this since i started wearing makeup on a daily basis and it have never failed me! as a teenager i don't wear heavy makeup and this gives me perfect coverage. it is buildable if you want a more full coverage and when paired with concealer it makes your face the perfect canvas! the SPF is also wonderful if you don't wear sunscreen daily.

I have tried many foundations. I am an experimenter and like to test products based on price. I tried inexpensive foundations in the $10 to $15,dollar range. I have also tried pricey foundations in the $75 plus range. My final conclusion this MAC foundation is the best. I have older skin with some spots and slightly uneven complexion. This foundation is light weight gives me good coverage and looks natural. No matter how many foundations I test this is the best. In summer I buy a slightly darker shade and it looks natural. This is the foundation I will use. I am done with my experiment.

Way too light for my skin color. Ulta staff recommended this color but it is way too light and I look like a ghost if I just use this makeup. I am combining it with a different brand to use it but won't listen to a staff member about color again.

I wasn't happy with the lack of coverage of this product, it also seemed oily under my eyes, and prevented my concealer from working properly. Had to return it.

this shade range is terrible. it's a huge no for me

I have been looking for a lightweight, SPF product for quite a while. I live in the south so I don't enjoy putting a full face of makeup on during the sweltering heat, needless to say this product has changed my makeup game. It's so lightweight with no added oil my skin looks dewy and glowing. I can add my full coverage product if I want but honestly I rarely done so. I pair this product with MAC's yellow undertone primer and my skin looks amazing with just the right amount of color. Compared to other products by tarte, IT and many others it's equal in cost with more benefits.

Color match is great for a fair skinned redhead. It blends and coverage can be adjusted. Better than some n less than other product types at this price point
