    My new favorite foundation

I'm excited to share my experience with this foundation, especially for people with extremely dry skin. As someone in the same boat, I've always struggled with foundations creating dry patches, but this one has turned out to be a game-changer. Mind you, I'm very picky with my foundation but the way ...

I was very excited to receive and try this foundation from MAC and BzzAgent because the claim of it being like skin care, hydrating, and Moisturizing. As a person with dry skin at the moment, this was to drying and Matte for my tastes. When it's first applied, it's beautiful, radiant, and has a nice...

I use NC40 in studio fix foundation and ordered it in radiance. It was advertised as a dewy finish and is good gor dry skin. This is my first online purchase and I'm not happy with it. If you want a very shiny finish maybe its okay. I prefer matte.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend

Hate when companies change the OG formulas instead of just adding new products. BRING THE OLD FORMULA BACK! MAC aint been rhe same since 2000s cause they chasing trends and it's annoying.

I have been wearing bareminerals complexion rescue x yeeears and just wanted/needed something with slightly more coverage. this delivers. (have not tried to build bc that's not the look in going for) I misread "powered" as powdered bc for me it is not a radiant finish. I usually have pretty balanced skin and the effect is much more natural/blurring/soft. looks like my normal face but slightly filtered. it does not feel hydrating or drying; it feels light on my skin. staying power is good. has been lasting thru a full day of office work. note: SPF content was not important to me as I apply it separately during my skin care routine, so its absence not a factor at all in my rating here. also note: I'm also writing a similar review for the Laura Mercier real flawless weightless foundation bc I bought it at the same timeb during the sale and honestly cannot tell the difference been the two (nc17 and 2w2 are interchangeable)

    Q
I am currently wearing N12, but it is slightly too light. Chat GPt said to go to N18. I feel I have some redness in my skin. Would N 18 be a good next step. I do not like yellow tones at all. Please let me know as soon as possible. I am out of foundation. Thanks
    Asked by glyna
    Official Answer By MAC
Thanks for your question! If the MAC Studio Radiance Serum-Powered Foundation in N12 is only slightly too light, N18 would be the next shade deeper and is a great step to try for a closer match. Since you mentioned redness and that you prefer to avoid yellow tones, you may also like prepping the skin with MAC Studio Fix 24HR Color Corrector in shade "Mint". The pale green shade helps neutralize redness before foundation application, giving you a more even-looking complexion. We hope this helps you find your perfect match! Was this answer helpful to you
