Apply this powder foundation to prepped skin.
For lighter coverage, use a fluffy brush like the 168S Brush.
To build coverage, apply with the included sponge applicator or a 170S Brush. Store sponge in the compartment underneath the powder instead of on top of the powder.
For additional coverage and wear, buff Studio Fix Fluid SPF 15 onto skin using the 159S Brush before applying the powder.|To use as a setting powder, apply with the 240S Brush to your T-zone area and the 187S Brush all over the face.

Changed formula
I wish a comany would advise when they change a product. I have been using NC40 for about 30 years, and loves it. Recently bought some during the sale, and the color is now an awful orange!!! WHY?? Just make a new product instead of switching up a well loved one. This same thing happened years ago with their eyebrow pencil. It used to be perfection, then Mac changes it to awful. Are the eyeshadows going to follow as well? Going to try and return this, but i may be too late. I always buy extra during a sale, but only check the outside of the box to make sure I received the corrext color. I was absolutely shocked when i opened this to see an orange powder! Yuk!
Great foundation
Wasn't sure about this product but since using it, I won't be using another foundation!! Blends flawlessly and looks natural.
Sad
I gave in and tried the "new" version, trying to be open minded…. All I can say, after wearing the original Studio Fix powder for 25 years, this feels, and wears like, a bad dupe. Coverage is meh, at best and lasts half as long. I guess I am seriously going to have to find a replacement outside of MAC.
Horrible
This new formula is just not it, colors are way off, the powder is not buildable like the original it also has a lot of kick back. If you wear it all day it breaks up, the original worked well with the natural oils on my face.

But it becomes really like powdery, not firm at all.
