This gel pot liner used to be a legendary budget option, but today's formula is dry and barely usable. It worked the first use, but it was mediocre. I used a very fine eyeliner brush, and the formula skipped and crumbled. I wanted to try tightlining, but I could not with it. The next time I opened it to use it, it was completely dried out with deep cracks. Unusable. It doesn't matter how careful you are about screwing the lid on tightly.

Depends on how you use it…
I bought this wanting to use it as a dark eyeshadow base. The liner itself is rather dry, even if you wet your brush, and even if your skin is moisturized. I would not recommend this as a liner unless you use it on your waterline, which works okay. However, 2 thin layers over the eyelid before eyeshadow, gave me a pigmented and smooth eyeshadow look. At the end of the day I had very little eyeshadow smudge, and it was only in the corners of my eyes.
