Most Helpful Positive Review Fantastic product Great product. Keeps eye shadow looking fresh day into night!
Most Helpful Critical Review This WAS one of my must-have products! I was very loyal to this product, it was one of a few that I HAD to have and I bought it over and over. Sadly, since the switch to the wand container, the product just isn't the same. I was initially glad about the switch, as I always dispensed too much product with the pump. I've been using the new one a few weeks now, and the product is thinner and glossier and doesn't cover and apply nearly as well. (I LOVED this product as a concealer, too.) Please bring back the product in the pump container, I NEED this in my life again! I've had to resort to hoarding the original product from wherever I can find it to hold me over until I can discover a suitable replacement. (or until Benefit brings back the original product, fingers crossed!)

Excellent shadow primer! I know it says this can be used as a PRIMER for concealer as well but I use it AS concealer. This product really keeps shadow in place as is non-irritating to my eye area (unlike others I tried). I get it in the light/medium.
worthless, skip it, returning 3

Did nothing to keep eyeshadow in place.Felt heavy/ thick on eyelids through out wear. It's thickness creased severely and I have pretty decent eyelids. Tried different techniques and all came out disappointing. Shadows did not blend well nor "stay put" regardless the dry time for the product. I guess I'll stick with my Mac Paint pot in painterly.

I love that this is tinted so it helps cover any discoloration and gives me a blank canvas. it helps my bright shadows show up very well and stay on all day.
I would buy this product again! 5

I use this on my eyelids.
Too dry! 1
Osmanthus from TX
I found this to be too thick, and too dry. Thus it was difficult to apply.
Better product than what I was using. 5

The primer improved the other products I had been using.

Not only is it an eye/lid primer, but it color corrects any purple I have in my lid AND on a good day I can actually just use it as under eye concealer… I wear it every day under my eyes and people don't believe I'm wearing makeup because it's undetectable since it is a primer and doesn't cake up, and it brightens. One day I didn't wear it and everyone was like "Omg you weren't lying, you actually were wearing makeup??" It's perfect for no makeup makeup days!

I was surprised to see all the negative reviews. I am 61 and it's been hard to find a eyeshadow primer that doesn't make my eyes look dry and crepey. This is a light formula, use as directed 3 small dots on top and bottom of lids and once blended (I use my finger and tap it in) it isn't even noticeable other than a light tint. I allowa few minutes for it to dry then follow with my Lancome Maquicomplet concealer and it's perfect for me. Personally, it's the best I've tried and I've tried many at all different price points.
Pretty good! 5

It is much easier to blend than the urban decay primer potion. However, when using it, it's best to let it sit for a while before putting eyeshadow over it to ensure a good blend
Just use glue instead 1

This product goes on okay, but then your eyelids stick together and keep doing so throughout the day. The shadow somehow still finds away to disappear and your left with naked eyelids sticking together. Save yourself some cash and just apply glue to your eyelids 👎🏻
Don't bother 1

Dry and pasty.....doesn't want to blend. I was hoping this would be the one, but it is not.

I was recommended this product by the ulta staff, I had run out of my eye primer I have used forever (order online) and needed something quick. I used this product and applied my eye makeup and 15 minutes later it looked like I had my make up done 6 hours before. Tried it several more times with the same failure. Worthless!
The greatest Eye Primer! 5

Great as a spot Concealer and normally used underneath the concealer and eye makeup first to make a clean canvas. I find myself always going back to this after trying many options. It's earned a spot in my makeup Arsenal "must haves."
Never straying again.
Staying power! 5

Use very sparingly try three small dots first. Work fast and if you had put to much on adjust using a makeup dampened makeup sponge. I use to clean around lid and crease if using full eyeshadow makeup but I use it as a natural highlighter under brow.

One of my favorite Benefit products! 5

I have used the Stay Don't Stray for years and love it! I have oily eyelids and every eyeliner I've ever used smudges onto my lids without using this primer. I also love it as a light coverage under eye concealer. It is designed as a shadow primer and works great for that as well! Eyeshadow appears freshly applied even 12 hours later! Overall an incredible product.
Great for dry and/or mature eyelids! 4

I love Urban Decay's original eye primer but I wanted a matte look on my eyelids and something to even out the skin tone. I tried Urban Decay's eye primer in Eden (it has a slight tan color) and it emphasized the dryness and creases on my eyelids; it was a terrible product for me. I read the reviews for the Benefit Stay Don't Stray and took a chance. I absolutely love it! It has a creamy texture, dries fairly quickly and gives a nice, smooth canvas to apply my
eyeshadow. No dry lines or flaking of dry skin. I removed one star because it has only one shade for lighter skin tones. I feel like people with darker skin tones are missing out if they are looking for a product with these benefits; it should be offered in a variety of skin tone colors.
I can't live without this 5

I love this product, I'm a personal trainer, I'm able to use this daily without looking like I gave too much make up on
