It goes into the skin nicely and does leave a wonderful glow to the skin. It did what I wanted by helping with the dryness in my face. Not sure about helping with acne though. So far so great! The star cream has become my go to evening face moisturizer. I love how silky it feels going on and how soft it makes my skin. I always wake up dewy, not greasy, which I really appreciate. The salicylic acid seems to be helping prevent major acne. The packaging is really cute, I do wish I could see the product inside to know how much I have left though.
