First off, the smell of the gloss is amazing sort of like cake but not too overbearing. But the downsides are that it is sort of like a stick of glue in that it's a bit sticky. This product is one of my favorite lip glosses that I own! It goes on so smoothly and looks amazing on me. I would have loved to leave 5 stars; however, I was slightly disappointed with the pumping aspect. I do own other plumping products, and they have that tingly plumping feeling for a few hours. This product did not really pump my lips, but rather gave them a more reddish pink hue. I see this product as more of a lip gloss than a plumper. I love the sparkles and how if feels on my lips. I have been using MAC Squirt Plumping Gloss Stick in Squirt Sparks the past couple of months, and it has become my favorite lipgloss! What I really love is the formula. It has this amazing, glassy shine that looks super juicy without feeling sticky or heavy, which is something I always struggle to find in a gloss.It feels incredibly nourishing on my lips and keeps them feeling soft and conditioned even after the shine starts to wear off. There is a gentle cooling sensation that gives a subtle plumping effect, but it feels refreshing and comfortable rather than overwhelming or burny. The application is super smooth because it literally melts onto the lips on contact, and the shimmering finish adds a really nice, subtle dimension. I love that I can wear it on its own for a natural, polished look or layer it over a lipstick to add some extra glow. Just a heads up, the design is non retractable, so you only want to click up a tiny bit at a time so you do not waste the product. Overall, it is a perfect mix of hydration, comfort, and that high shine, fuller look I have been reaching for constantly.
