Eva NYC's Spectrum Dryer delivers shiny, smooth styles in a flash with far-infrared spectrum technology that heats from the inside out to protect the cuticle.
This dryer works great for my hair. The highest setting is a little more than what I need but other than that I love it. I do use the Eva NYC 10 in 1 spray at the ends of my hair before blow-drying and it makes a huge difference too for keeping my hair from feeling fried. I consistently die my hair & roots and need something that won't damage my hair further. This dryer definitely helps with that. The speed might not be for everyone because the high setting does pack a punch, but I use the highest heat setting on medium speed and it does a great job. My hair also blow-dries pin straight so this dryer helps add volume to my hair. IF you have curly hair, this may be a bit much for you. I almost always use a root volume spray too, but even on the days that I don't, my hair still feels fuller using this dryer than with any of my older ones.
I have short, fine 2b-2c hair (wavy-curly). I decided to return this dryer after one use because the wind speed on my hair, even on the lowest setting, is so fast that it causes frizz and disturbs my curl pattern, which does not happen with my 15-year old hair dryer (of course I use the diffuser on both dryers). This is also considerably louder than my last dryer, and I personally do not like it when it is very close to my hears and head, which is inevitable due to its intended use. I know some people have said this is quieter than other dryers, but maybe they have long, thick hair that needs a high fan speed to get it dried quickly and are used to even louder appliances. So for those people, I would recommend this dryer, but not to anyone that has fine, naturally wavy hair that intends to wear it natural (though it would do well for blowouts etc).
It is a nice dryer. Not to heavy. Heat was even. It does leave my hair looking healthy... but I have thin hair and within an hour my hair was FLAT!! I mean really flat against my head - kept tying but this one is not for me.
Definitely was a high powered, fast drying blow dryer- but it only lasted about 4 months without issue. Now it will randomly turn off and on while I'm drying as if there's a short somewhere in the wiring. I wish Ulta had kept seeking Rusk's Speed Freak! They last me about 5 years!!!
I used this blow dryer and poof my hair was dry quickly and it wasn't frizzy! I am very pleased with this purchase!!
This hairdryer dries quickly and is super powerful but it makes my hair super tangled and frizzy at the ends. My hair is long and medium bodied, and it takes a very long time to comb out after drying. I am returning for a better dryer.
Great size. Not heavy to hold. Leaves my hair smooth and not frizzy.
