Most Helpful Positive Review Jack of all trades!
This device is the complete package. Dyson has truly outdone itself.
Here is what you get:
-Pre styling dryer or basically a mini supersonic hairdryer attachment
-1.6" Airwrap barrel x 2
-1.2" Airwrap barrel x2
-Firm smoothing brush head
-Soft smoothing brush head
-Round Volumizing Brush head
-A carrying case
This device is truly a Jack of all trades. Simply pop on each of the included attachments to either blow dry, curl, straighten or refresh your style the next day.
As someone that already owns and loves the supersonic hairdryer I thought there was no way the mini supersonic attachment could compete...boy was I wrong! I rough dried my hair in about 2 or 3 minutes.
After drying my hair about 70% of the way I wanted to give the round brush attachment a try. My hair is just above my shoulders, color treated and has a wave to it that is very frizzy and hard to manage. I've always been in awe of those that can do salon perfect blowouts at home. I, for whatever reason, cannot easily manage a brush and blow dryer at the same time. You need tension and the right amount of heat to smooth the hair and give it that volume. Enter the round volumizing brush attachment. Now I can easily do a salon style blowout at home with minimal effort. The round brush is grippy and really holds the hair in place while you create volume. I was so impressed how easy and fast it dried my hair without making it feel like straw. The end result was shiny, near salon quality blowout in a short period of time! So impressed.
The flat brush heads are great for straightening out or calming frizz. There is a firm and soft brush which each serve their own purpose. I haven't used these as much yet because the curling attachments are so fun to use! The firm brush head will give you more tension to straighten and smooth out your hair. Whereas the soft one will tame your hair but not necessarily straighten it all the way.
The real star of this device, and that's saying a lot, are the curling attachments. This is where the whole airwrap name comes into play. When I saw the curling attachments I was initially confused--there is no clamp or way to hold the hair to the attachment during styling...or so I thought. The curling attachments are like magic. Each size, large or small, comes with two attachments with arrows denoting which way it will wrap the hair--either curling it away or towards your face. You simply grab about an inch section of slightly damp hair hold the curling attachment towards the bottom of your hair and the airwrap magic does the rest. It will wrap, not suck, your hair around the curling attachment like magic. Hold it there for about 10-15 seconds and follow up with a cool shot of air to lock in your style and you either have a loser or tighter curl depending on the size of the attachment you used. I've seen other companies use a chambered device were you insert your hair to achieve a curl, which admittedly always scared me. I was worried it would burn or tangle my hair---not the case with the airwrap curling attachments. They do take a moment to get used to but once you figure them out you'll want to toss your curling iron!
I was able to blow dry and style my hair from start to finish in under 25 minutes. Typically I'd have to blow dry, then flat iron to get rid of any frizz that remained and then either add some waves with my flat iron or reach for my curling iron...which would take at least 35 to 40 minutes... and I still wouldn't get the body and bounce that the airwrap achieved! I also feel like this product is less damaging to your hair because it doesn't get as hot as my flat iron or curling iron.
The carrying case is awesome. My Dyson supersonic came with a pink carrying case and it's like tetris getting it back into the case, not so with the airwrap's case. There is plenty of room for each attachment and the case is high quality and sturdy.
Dyson has outdone itself!
Most Helpful Critical Review Not worth the money
I got the air wrap complete set for my birthday. I was so excited. Unfortunately here is the problems I ran into. 1st the curlers are hard to figure out and once you do you have to section very small pieces to be able to wrap it around the barrel. Note the curls do not last long at all. The second problem I ran into was that the machine took a lot GFI and keep tripping my breaker. So I constantly have to reset it to use it and nothing else can be plugged into the outlet at the same time.
What I like: the brush, round brush, and blow dryer heads are good with the exception of the breaker tripping all the time, I like these heads and use them, but I don't find that the price of this machine is worth it. For all that it is advertised for i only use 3 heads.

I've been curling and straightening my hair for 10 years with traditional hair styling tool. I always longed for that perfect blow out look or bombshell curls and never could ever achieve that look. I even tried the complete T3
Collection. Yes, it did give me those gorgeous curls but it was so damaging to my hair and I couldn't get the curl close enough without burning my ears, neck and scalp! I finally bought the air wrap system after years of having the blow dryer I knew this was an investment I had to make! I was super exited to use it the second I got home! Please don't give up on this system! It's new technology and you once you learn it you will absolutely love it the results are long lasting and truly stunning! I found out that this doesn't just work on damp hair! Even when my hair is dry the day after I use it as a refresh for my curls ! Along with that I don't even have to straightent my hair! The brush set is absolutely amazing as well eliminating any kinks and frizz! Please if you're thinking about buying this just do it it's the best investment for your hair. You won't regret it

I tried this several times and my hair falls flat instantly and leaves a weird crimping look. I'll be returning it.
I am stunned
Acoffeejunky from Houston, TX
I have always had difficult hair. Some of it is a solid 2c curl while other parts have barely a wave and all of it is frizzy. I have a Chi flat iron, a few different blow dryers, reckon curling irons, a waver and more products than I can list. My hair always looks burned and stressed to the max so within 3 hours it's up in a bun. I picked up the Dyson Airwrap yesterday, not really expecting much because of past experience. Now, to be completely honest, I only used the firm smoothing brush attachment last night but WOW is all I can manage to say! My hair is soft to the touch, it's bouncy and vibrant, next to no frizz and I haven't put it in a bun for going on 13 hours today. My husband even commented on how great my hair looks. I'll be unstoppable once I figure out how to use the curling attachments.
No matching long hair barrels released
unhappy from Florida
This limited edition only includes short hair wave barrels. If you want the longer barrels you will have to buy the non color matching barrels in -FUCHSIA -separately.
Fantastic. Needs matching long barrels, though!!
Long red hair from Va
I'm absolutely in love with this invention. I have long red hair that air dries wavy and frizzy (not cute) but blows out with good body and straightness and holds curls well. I've always dried my hair 2-3x / week with an xl round brush and used a curling wand/ flat iron to style on days I'm wearing it down.
With my new ghd helios dryer I can skip the flat iron when drying (returned the supersonic with helios performing better)
Then with the airwrap when my hair is Already *dried* I curl the bottom half of my hair with 5 seconds heat, 10 sec cool down per curl and they last and last. I've found this works better on my hair either dry or lightly misted with a Spritzer but not damp and definitely not wet. No hair spray. My hair feels so much less damaged and the curls are sleek and bouncy. I do NOT recommend the airwrap for drying your hair, straightening your hair, or for ANY of the Attachments other than the curlers. I really need the long curlers and am pretty annoyed that I have to purchase them in a non matching color since I paid extra for the prussian blue color. I contacted dyson and was told they have no plans to make the long ones in prussian blue. If you want to replace your curling wand with something that is purely magical, effortless, and much less damaging to your hair This. IS. IT. But do not mistake this for a hair dryer or flat iron.
Save your MONEY

I do use this everytime I dry my hair just because I paid so much for it The wands are a joke the hair doesn't want to wrap around the barrel in the correct direction. So all I really use is the round brush barrel an the funny thing is it's no better than the Revlon dry barrel brush I had before
CYF from Bellevue Ne
I wanted so bad to make this work since I've been wanting it for so long but this is not made for curly hair at all, my hair is curly but it's easy to straightening and style not with this I spend almost an hour doing my hair with this and an hour later it was so freezy that it look like I just let it air dry and brushed thru it so dissapointed really the only thing that is actually good is that it dryes your hair fast but as a styling tool it falls short for wavy curly hair.
Nice hairdryer, not the miracle social media says it is
Curly Carl from Oregon
I've seen the tutorials and reviews. I thought that if there was going to be an idiot-proof way to dry my hair and reduce frizz it would be the dyson. Even with high end products my hair is just as frizzy as with a normal dryer. Nice dryer but not a miracle-worker. I got the same effect with my revlon brush dryer for a fraction of the price. I also think it still damages my hair just as much as a normal dryer.
My hair has never felt healthier, but the style is iffy
Rcoop from Chicago
I have very damaged hair. In the week that I've been using this, my hair has become so much healthier. It's shiny, soft and zero split ends now. That being said, I feel like I can't figure out how to work this thing to make my hair pretty.

I've never left a review on a product before, but I love my Airwrap so much that I had to leave one! I'm horrible with hair tools and the idea of there being a learning curve made me wait to order this for two years before I finally just caved in. My first time using it, I used the curling attachment and was able to quickly get amazing curls that I've never been able to get from a curling wand (can't ever figure out how to use one) or straightener before. After an entire day of lying on the curls, they still looked great and held strong very well. Later that night, I found myself running to a shelter as the tornado sirens were going off. After spending thirty minutes sitting in a shelter and running through hail, strong wind, and drizzling rain, my hair still looked amazing. If that isn't a testament to how incredible the Airwrap really is, then I don't what is.
Bought it & returned it. Reconsidered, bought AGAIN and LOVE
MB from Duluth, Minnesota
So I ordered the Airwrap on a whim, tried it and decided it was too expensive when it didn't smooth my hair as easily as I expected (it's naturally curly but I can usually straighten it and smooth it with some effort). So I returned it. Then I watched a bunch of videos about how people use the Airwrap and realized I: 1. Didn't give it enough of a chance; 2. Wasn't using it right (I had used the styling attachments on towel dried hair that had air dried for about 20 minutes).
Once I learned that I needed to use the hair dryer attachment to get my hair *almost* dry before using the styling tools I decided I needed to give this thing another shot. So I went back to my Ulta store and bought the same Airwrap I had returned.
I can't believe I was going to give up on this thing so quickly. First of all, the dryer attachment got my hair almost dry in under 10 minutes. It usually takes about 25 minutes to get it fully dry, so I'm already sold on drying time. Using the wand/curling attachment on the back of my hair isn't perfect yet, but the front looks so smooth and bouncy, it's a looser, more natural curl than I've ever been able to get with a curling iron.
Two people who helped me at Ulta recommended spritzing dry hair with water to practice using the attachments. I'm not sure I want to spend THAT much time on it, but the tip might help someone else.
They also said I should get the longer wands since my hair is longer. I can definitely see how helpful they would be, but I'm just not sure if I want to spend even more money on top of the initial cost.

It takes me < 10 min to have a fabulous look for at least 2 days. This is the easiest thing I ever used for my hair, & absolutely love it!
The best Investment I made recently !
Everyone noticed a difference in my hair & my confidence is up .
If you can afford it, get it girl!
Should've read the reviews
Brittany from Michigan
If I had read the reviews, I would have found this isn't for thick, curly hair. The wrap tool left my hair frizzy and the curl fell immediately. I was hoping this one box would be the only hair tools I needed. I'll keep my Revlon styling brush, L'ange wand, and Bed Head straightening brush, totaling about 1/5 of the price of the Dyson.

This is definitely an investment but so worth it for me! I curl my hair all the time, need to achieve a smoothing effect on my frizzy and damaged hair, need a good blow dryer, and a nice round brush for easy blow-outs. This product delivers it all in a very luxurious package. It's much quieter then other similar tools and blow dryers, the cord is long and sturdy, and the packing is great to safely and beautifully store your Dyson. Absolutely glad I got it.
What magic sorcery is this??
Missy from NW Florida
I have put the Airwrap in my cart so many times then ended up removing it but when the navy/copper special edition Airwrap released AND I could purchase it from Ulta, I quickly checked out before the special edition color was out of stock. I used the Airwrap for the first time today and am blown away. I expected the "learning curve" we hear about but experienced zero issues - my hair wrapped right around the cylinder and gave me beautiful ringlets with little effort on my part!
SO quick and easy!!
For reference, my hair is naturally curly/wavy/frizzy. With lots of products & diffuser, can achieve the tangly kind of wavy curls but always laced with a layer of fly away frizz in and around waves. Can achieve nice smooth straight hair via blowout/flat iron, so long as not raining. My hair strands rise to the occasional muggy days.
Oh my God

I had mine for over a year now and let me tell you ITS THE BEST INVESTMENT EVER! When I style my hair with my Airwrap everyone asked me where I went to get my hair done? I'm like is my Airwrap!! Don't think too much and get it you won't be disappointed
Not for frizzy hair
Chubbsy10 from Arizona
I have frizzy thin hair and after using this product, this is the worst my hair has looked in a long time. It's very dry looking and it took me almost an hour to do my hair vs 20 minutes with a round brush. This made my hair as frizzy as the revlon blow dry brush. Not worth the money
Kristie from Muskogee
This is the absolute best money I have ever invested in a hair product. I was very nervous about it based on some reviews that said it was hard to use. I am not good at styling my thin, fine, shoulder length hair at all, and believe me I have tried everything. I used it for the first time last night and was absolutely thrilled!! Soooo easy. My 13 year old son took a look at my hair and said; "Dang!!" So if a 13 year old boy notices, you know you've got a winner. My hair was full of volume and bounce. Absolutely love this thing!!
A love story

My friends have this and told me how great it was. I thought it was to much for blow dryer, BUT it's much much more! I have to say I love it! Didn't think I would. Every time I used it and saw a friend they said your hair looks so good what did you do. Lol

I love love love my dyson airwrap. It leaves my hair so soft. The pre style (blow dry attachment) dries my hair at least 2-3 X faster than any other hairdryer. Curled it yesterday and lightly pin curled some curls and woken up looking so glamorous.
I will continue to use this for drying, curling, as well as smoothing/ straightening my hair.
I wish they had the additional attachments for this special edition color way.
Plus this just looks beautiful and you won't have a stiff arm from using this device. Super lightweight.
Like others mentioned there's a learning curve and a few tips to help you get the most out of it.
It's recommended to have your hair like 70-80% dry.
Keep your hair moistened throughout styling with the airwrap. This will help to lock in the style as it uses heat to dry + style the hair.
Use a blow dry assistant/ heat protectant and if you plan on doing a blow out or curls use a light mousse.
Makes me feel pretty

I don't know why I waited so long to get this, it's perfect . I never buy hair dryers because I don't know how to use one. This styler makes my hair look I just got the best blow out!
absolutely worth the money(or points)!!
Jessica B. from Lake Jackson, TX
I have wanted this since I first seen Tati talking about it but the price is quite steep and honestly I always feel guilty spending this much money on something for myself. So I saved up my points last year 8,000 points which equaled $500 and for Christmas I decided to splurge on myself and bought this. I only had to pay $50 out of pocket. And let me tell you it's so worth it! both myself and my teenage daughter love this thing. I have very long fine thin hair and my daughter has shoulder length fine thin hair and this thing does wonders for us! Other hair dryers take me about 20 minutes to blow dry my waist length hair and this thing does it in 6 minutes! and the air wrap curlers work so well on long or short hair! if you are on the fence do it you won't regret it! Save up those reward points if you have to and splurge on yourself❤❤
Princess Cinnamon from Utah
I love this! It was worth the investment and I have never received so many compliments on my hair!
