I recently tried the Mac glitter eyeshadow in the shade Try Me On and I have some thoughts. At first glance, this shadow is stunning, and appears to be a green shimmery color. However, this wasn't what I experienced. The actual eyeshadow is sheer, but you can definitely see the glitter. From trying it out, you have to apply it several times for it to show up, it's best suited under a darker base eyeshadow to make it stand out. Overall, it's pretty, but a little different from what I was expecting. If you're wanting a more subtle eyeshadow look, this may be for you, but if you're wanting full glam it might be a little too light. *I received this product for free from MAC for testing and review purposes.

I got the shade She Sparkles and it's a gorgeous silvery taupe color. Is it a glitter shadow… not really, but it does sparkle more than a typical shimmer shadow. There are bigger shimmer flecks that reflect the light beautifully. It's buttery smooth, so blending is a breeze. I need all the shades now!
