This turned out to be too small for my hair, but my daughter wanted to try it in her hair, and it works pretty well for her. She is only 2.5, so I don't use any bobby pins and held it in place just with a hair tie. It holds in her hair for a few hours even with normal toddler craziness even held this way. She loves it.
I was so excited to get this hoping that I can step up my bun "hairdo". I must have tried at least twenty times. Each time my hair would fall down or pull to one side. I'm not sure how it could hold without loading my head with bobby-pins. Unfortunately that's what I was trying to escape. This product gets a one star.

My daughter does ballet and needs to wear a bum for various performances. This makes bun making easy. It seems to work best on long thick hair. My daughter has fine hai but lots of it and a year ago this wouldn't have worked for her. It takes a little practice to get the hang of it but it works well

This actually does work. It helped me to get the perfect messy bun in under two minutes (which normally I am very picky and it takes A LOT longer) and it even kept it in place ALL DAY! I highly recommend this product.

I bought this not expecting much but WOW, it gives the most perfect bun ever! I just use it as directed on the instructions and after I wrap it with my hair, I use the leftover ends of my hair to wrap around the hair tie making it a stunning easy bun! I never was able to make a super cute bun due to my hair being so fine but this actually worked!
Note, if your hair is very thin as well it may not work as well if your hair is shorter - but give it a try!

I could never get this dinky thing to keep my hair in, it slides right out of the contraption.

I used these bun makers to add beach waves to damp hair

This isn't suited for fine/medium hair. It was hard getting it on and my hair kept falling out as I rolled it. There's not enough "grip" to keep the hair in place and it doesn't lock the style in place either. They should have included some tips in the instructions on how to make this tool effective. Don't waste your time or money!

Small is too small size for me. But I like the bun

I might try using it with wet hair and see if I can get pretty curls with it but it's just too big for my hair. When I tried to use it in a bun it really showed thru my hair and looked goofy!

Didn't live up to expectations. Wouldn't hold my hair up.

a good product and easy to work with but i really don't have the quality of hair for a product like this. better for normal to thick hair.
working out well even though i do not have good hair so if it works for me it will be great for those with good hair.

I use this to make simple buns and updos, instead of alway rocking a ponytail. I like the structure it provides and it self secures for the most part. I never could figure out the bun donuts... This is simpler. That said, I lost my last one in my vehicle so try not to drop this little, flat helper.

I love this, it's quick and easy to use!

I was excited to try this out but the styler is hard to use based on the instructions it comes with. I watched a few videos of similar stylers which helped but I still couldn't get it to style right. It might just take more practice but it still seems like all the styles require lots of bobby pins too. Will keep trying but haven't had much success yet.

I liked this product because it made my bun look clean and organized, however because I have lots of volume it was a little hard to make it stay up.

Unfortunately, this product wasn't quite able to wrangle my very long, very thick hair, and I had more luck just doing a bun with a hair tie my usual way. I can appreciate that it would probably work on thinner hair though!

I probably just need practice but I can't get this to work as shown.
