I like many products by Bare Minerals, but this Pure Moisture Serum didn't impress me as much as others. It makes my skin a bit softer on its own, but my combination skin really needs another layer of something else to lock that in, (and my skin isn't nearly as dry as many have, especially in Spring). The consistency is very much Elmer's white glue straight from the bottle, and it hardly has a scent (which is definitely better than a bad scent mind you!). And it does absorb into the skin without being sticky or pilling when rubbed or anything. Basically it does its job and I'm happy to incorporate a bit more moisture into my routine, but I'm not sure it's the best option out there for that. Some additional nutrients or benefits, or a pleasant herbal smell, something, might bump it up a notch. For the price I would expect more.

let me start off by saying i love a good clean skincare make up brand! who doesn't want benefits while enhancing your beauty. price point is average to a typical prestige brand. just like any skincare product you need to be consistent to maintain the physical benefits of these awesome ingredients. the texture of the serum is lightweight! so happy it's not a tacky texture. a big plus fhag i was gifted this prouduct.

This is a light serum with hydration purpose only. It is good to layer with other functional serum. When I use this in the evening, the next morning my skin is more hydrated than usual and it is easier to apply foundation. The texture is very smooth so I like to apply two layers. It is instant hydration so it doesn't last long, so I still have to use face mask together with it for long lasting hydration.

I'm a huge skincare enthusiast and I was so excited to try this. I have combination but mostly dry acne prone skin and this serum is super lightweight and hydrating! I can layer this before my moisturizer and it is perfect. It doesn't pill under my makeup either! I had a pretty hard time with the dropper though and that was an issue since it was really hard to get product out of the bottle!
