Most Helpful Positive Review Better than any of my high end foundations. Really!
I never considered buying drugstore complexion products, because i've always assumed they were a waste of money. I'm also fair, but golden/olive and let's be real, for some reason drugstore brands think that no one who is lighter than a medium skin tone can be golden. A makeup artist who I respect became obsessed with this foundation, singing it's praises over and over. We're a similar undertone/skintone, so I thought i'd give it a whirl. AND SPOILER ALERT I'M SO GLAD I DID. It was a bit of a journey finding my shade. As previous reviews have stated there is a bit of oxidation. Nothing crazy, but know that when purchasing. It will darken a touch once blended in. So the first couple bottles I purchased weren't a perfect match..but then I found the right one and from then on it's been hands down the best foundation i've ever owned. Beating out every 70 dollar foundation by a mile. First off, its this lovely thick, mousse like texture...but feels COMPLETELY weightless. It builds on itself beautifully, NEVER caking. Ever. It blurs texture, and makes skin look absolutely beautiful no matter what primer you use under it, and no matter what you use over it. Makes your skin look like it's just naturally beautiful, rather than LOOKING like foundation. I frequently wear a mask for 4-6 hours straight at work, and when I take my mask off at the end of my shift this foundation looks exactly as it did when I first applied it. EVERY TIME. I find myself wanting to wear this foundation exclusively. I've literally had to force myself to use some of my more pricey foundations sometimes as to not let them sit neglected. I honestly feel like everyone should own this. It isn't full coverage, so if you're someone who feels like they have to have that you may not enjoy it. But honestly I encourage you to try it anyway. Most people need way less than they think they do. And this foundation is no slouch, it will build up to a solid medium coverage. JUST TRY IT. It's so gorgeous.
Most Helpful Critical Review It's great for a fresh faced teen but not an older Queen
The Screen Queen Foundation is a light coverage foundation. It says it's buildable but trying to add more makes the foundation smudge on your face and leave unflattering marks. I'd say this is a perfect foundation for a fresh faced teen that is just starting to use makeup. Someone with no fine lines or wrinkles on their face, no blemishes to hide. For me, the shade was a perfect match with my skin tone, which is a great plus. Unfortunately after wearing it for an hour or so, it starts to settle into the fine lines between my brows and ends up accentuating them and not covering them. It also settles into the pores on my nose and starts to look like spots which is very embarrassing. It is also not a long lasting foundation. It wears off my face or at least wears down long before I even leave work. Compared to other foundations I've used, this just doesn't work for me and my needs. I like a fuller coverage foundation that is long lasting and will still look as good when I leave work as it did when I got there.
I would not purchase this foundation in the future but I probably would recommend it for younger people wearing light makeup that have fresh faces already.
Reviewed by 228 customers Best foundation for oily skin
Marlena from California
I have tried many foundations and this is the best for oily skin and long wearing. if I get shiny I blot and it looks even better. Yes it has a weird smell but it's not bad. My skin looks flawless and natural. It can be built up for full coverage if needed. Hands down the best I've found. Color is perfect match.

I don't like the formula. It was very streaky and had a weird odor.
Best drugstore foundation by far.

Finally found my forever foundation. Matches my complexion better than any high end foundation. The finish appears as natural skin. Love this product!!!
Finally found a holy grail foundation!

This is one foundation I love more than the pricey designer ones. This has been my holy grail for a year now. Try it.... you won't be disappointed!

Great if you can make it work

I had previously tried this foundation about a year ago and had a similar experience as the negative reviews: it was patchy, no coverage, streaky, cakey. I really disliked it, but now after a year I kept getting it recommended and decided to try it again and WOW? It's like a totally different foundation. The coverage was beautiful, it laid nicely on my skin and made it look so smooth. I didn't need to go back in with concealer to cover up slight acne scars and I didn't need a primer. It sets down nicely too! Now I can't stop wearing this foundation. Mind you, this is still the same bottle from a year ago I just never reached for it and hadn't decluttered it. I don't know what changed, but I think maybe the first time around I was only using a beauty blender to blend in foundation and now I dab dots all over my face and blend in with a foundation brush. For shade reference I am fair-light with a neutral/olive undertone and I use 180 Warm Shell and it's perfect!
I love this foundation. I have dry skin and it brightens and

I use this foundation over a moisturizer and 50 spf mineral sunscreen.

I use #200 and love the foundation - I use it for minimal coverage. But I build it up thicker in areas where I have scars. It's seamless. So happy there's no sunscreen in this - most foundation contains sunscreen but then you're stuck with that particular sunscreen every time you use the product. Most sunscreens irritate my skin and sometimes cause oiliness so I use my own sunscreen. I would like to see more colors that are cool/neutral (less yellow). Great product ! Thanks.
Cakey and no pigment
Makeupmnstrrrr from California
This had very very light coverage and it wasn't very buildable. It felt thick and cakey considering the light coverage.

I prefer this to the other Milani foundation. I purchased the shade 120 Warm Nude. I'm quite pale, but having tanned a bit since summer started, I probably could have gone a shade darker. Regardless, I really like the blendability of this formula. It feels comfortable as an undereye concealer and has not settled into pores/lines. Having very oily skin, I don't expect foundation to look good for too long. This one has held up nicely to a summer day. A little bit gives a nice, natural but made-up coverage.
More like drugstore foundation

Not as good as the other foundation I got from here. Much more cakey.

I've been using BareMinerals or It Cosmetics foundations for years and I like them, but sometimes I feel like I have to do some mixing to get my correct or preferred shade/ finish. I saw this when buying some other Milani products and gave it a try. For me it's nice, light to medium satin coverage that looks great with the Milani Soft Focus Glow and Silky Matte Bronzer. I'd like to see more products from this line IN STORE.
SEAMLESS & BEAUTIFUL ..JUST MISLEADING
Soft&Airy412 from Virginia
I don't ever write reviews..but I just wanted a foundation that's lightweight for summer time and grabbed this ..it said "natural finish" which it is!! But it leans towards semi-matte finish . It's not luminous like the claim ..unless you have a hydrating base/primer a hydrating mist. With that being said ::: this foundation is so skin-like and I was so shocked to see how long it lasted the whole day in a hot weather . Definitely going to repurchase.
This is my new favoritel foundation!

What a beautiful light foundation! It feels like I am not wearing any foundation at all. I just love the light coverage. It just puts me in such a good mood when I see how pretty this makes my skin appear.
Patchy. Cakes. Separates.
Emmy from PA
I love most all milani products however this foundation is the worst foundation that I have ever used. I have normal to dry skin. It sat awful with or without primer. Separated through the day, and was patchy in multiple areas around my face. Would not recommend.

My go to foundation!
Smells like paint
Rachel from New Mexico
Smells like paint AND IS NOT BUILDABLE. Gives essentially zero coverage and when I try to build it up it gets patchy
Jennifer from West Richland WA
Very impressed! I accidentally grabbed Warm Shell and it turned out to be perfect for me. I normally wear fair/light shades and I can attest that you should try a few shades darker than your usual. I love this light-to-medium coverage but most of all, the price is fantastic.
Perfect when applied with a beauty blender
Cassy from Iowa
It delivers exactly as promised- goes on flawlessly with a beauty blender. I'm not great at applying makeup and have dry skin and if I can get this to look great, anyone should!
Kayla from Va
Awesome foundation! Perfect for every day wear. Light but still has just the right amount of coverage without looking heavy on the skin. Definitely will get again!

Don't waste you money it broke me out and the texture is 🤢
Unexpected New Go-To
Lauz from Pennsylvania
I bought this randomly when I saw it on an endcap display in store, and I'm so glad I did. I rotate using different foundations but every time I use this one I'm shocked all over again. It's weightless, has good coverage, blends well, and the shade match for me might be the best I've ever had in any foundation EVER. I'm 180 warm shell and I will always recommend this to others with combination skin like me!

I was surprised by this foundation not expensive at all

This is medium coverage blurs pores and looks super natural on the skin. My favorite thing about this foundation is that it feels like nothing on the skin you forget that your wearing foundation!!

Ordered two of these at the recent Diamond Sale, but was rather disappointed when I got them. Reason for this is the texture was really a thick liquid and the color match was off. I spend a long time deciding which colors would suit my skin tone the best. But in the end both colors where off. One was too light, the other had an ashy tone to it that did not flatter my skin tone and made me look too pale. Thankfully I only paid half price for them. Will not buy this makeup again.
