Decent, but maybe metallic lipstick isn't for me
I like this lipstick, but I'd have to condition my lips to the 9s before putting this on again. The metallic finish just highlights ever little dry spot and wrinkle in your lips. midnight run looks amazing for the look I go for, and affordable, but has a really, and I mean really bitter taste.
Very bitter
The color was pretty but my lips tingled a little bit (it's not a plumper) and if you get any in your mouth it's extremely bitter. It's hard to get the taste out of your mouth.
Beautiful color, tastes AWFUL
I wanted a silky slightly dimensional brown/dark nude for a low price. Tried it on, loved the color, but it smells AWFUL and whenever even a smidge gets into my mouth i feel disgusted. Tossing this!
Misleading color
The color online looks brown, when I received it, its a dark red.
Nice color, bad taste
I bought Midnight Run and was hoping for the lovely gun metal shade but its just a buildable dark gray. The shimmer is extremely subtle and it goes on fairly sheer initially. Then, I made the mistake of licking my lips, and it has this weird bitter almost metallic/chemical flavor, like licking a dirty penny or something. It's awful. So I would only suggest this lipstick if you can't taste that naturally. Othwise, I suggest giving this lippie a pass. I've had no problems like this with othwr JCat products, so I hope this was a fluke!
