Most Helpful Positive Review Wow!
I have never had a foundation stay looking smooth and silky the whole day of me wearing it. I usually wear Estée Lauder double wear (shade 2W2) and it does end up looking a little rough by the time my shift is over. I do have very oily skin though so I just bring a touch up powder (CT airbrush powder) but this foundation (T1N) I cannot believe it stayed the whole day looking like I just recently applied. This formulation is unbeatable. The only thing I noticed is that the warm version of T1 honey honey was a little too leaning on orangy but the neutral shade is more complimentary to my yellow undertone. I do wish there was a Honey Honey T0N being like T1N but just slightly lighter bc the formulation left me speechless but the shade T1N is just slightly too dark. I seriously love this. This is my new staple liquid foundation.
Most Helpful Critical Review I wanted to love this, but it didn't live up to the hype :(
I reeeeallly wanted to love this product. After seeing all the hype on youtube i was like "oooh! This may be nice." But it just didn't live up to my expectations. The finish is nice/smooth and it is VERY full coverage (a little goes a long way!). However, it is not as long wearing as i was lead to believe (i found that it does move when oil builds up) and every color leaves a weird undertone - literally every color in each shade range starts off looking good, but as it starts to settle the finish looks almost greyish (it's hard to describe cuz it's not grey grey, but there definitely is some weird undertone). I'm still using it since it is fairly pricey and it is too late for me to return it (i bought it from the uoma website directly). However, i am unsure if i would repurchase this in the future. Maybe i would if the undertone wasn't so weird, but i found that in all my photos i am looking kinda sickly ever since wearing this foundation.

I didn't buy mine from Ulta, but I wanted to put my two sense in. First of all I am a foundation junkie, I probably have over 100 of them in my collection. This foundation is okay! It's a matte finish, medium-full coverage, and lasts really well. I have dry skin, and I'm in the fair-light shade range. 170 in fenty for reference. I bought fair lady T1C. The shade is perfect when I first put it on the face, but it oxidizes when it dries down, so I would say go one shade down. I can make it work, but pulling it all the way down my neck, but the undertone, is what's off! I am a cool tone, and fair lady T1C is supposed to be a cool tone foundation, and it's definitely not. It pulls more warm/yellow on my skin. Compared to my chest and hands, I almost look sickly. Also I'm 34, so not young. An I will say if u put too much, it will look cakey, and super dry. So less is more. I think people think, bc of YouTube that you have to load foundation on, and you don't! That's for camera, in real life you only need a little bit. Use concealer to finish covering up what you want covered. All in all, this foundation is just okay. It's nothing special, but it's not horrible. I would say if your looking for an alternative try the L'Oreal infallible fresh wear foundation, or Colourpop's pretty fresh foundation! They're both the same thing, but to be honest both of those are less drying, and don't oxidize.

The fair lady shade I got made my face look muddy. And it was so so Cakey! I had to take it off.

Great Buy Great Match

I really appreciate Ulta's GlamCam, which I recommended to others with helping with color match. As I arrived in the store to limit my colors from 3 to 1 the employees were really helpful. They were even explaining the benefits of the product, always helpful to have knowledgeable staff❤️

Here's the thing love the formula of the foundation but the shade range is confusing ! So I couldn't get the olives shades because it was too dark for me . I've seen a couple of reviews and I feel like the olive shades mean medium tan skin then olive undertones. I'm glad they came out with like "cool olive " and "neutral olive " because olive undertones has a spectrum but my problem is it's more skin depth then skin undertone so I went with the fair shades and I felt like I had to to use a blue mixer to get the green because there's no light olive shades . I hope Uoma adds lighter olive shades especially in the neutral and cool olive spectrum . Other than that beautiful foundation !
Allergic reaction and wrong color
NoelleThe4th from UpperWestchester
I don't know what the heck the color was, I thought I did a pretty good job figuring out what I needed based on the shade finder and other reviews, but when I got it and put it on I looked like an extra in Willy Wonka, I was super orange. The finish was nice, it was exactly what I was looking for, but for a cool toned foundation it should not have made me orange at all. I ended up blending it with the foundation I had been using to try to make it work, but for the price point couldn't justify having to do that on the daily. The final nail in its coffin was when I took off the foundation and saw how red and irritated my skin was. I'm not sure what ingredient in this foundation did it, but something gave me an allergic reaction that took a day to calm down.

I don't know how this foundation managed to be cakey and sheer-medium coverage. It barely lasted a few hours even with primer, setting spray, and setting powder and transferred into everything. When I returned it, the cashier said she had only seen people return it.
First foundation that covers and lasts without looking dry!

I have combo/ oily skin and this is my new go to/ favorite foundation. It just has good coverage, doesn't look cakey or dry and has a great wear time. This foundation has lasted long hours and kept my face looking great. I'd definitely recommend it for anyone that has more oily / combo skin.
Dry and Cakey

I have oily skin and purchased one of the fairest shades with the purple cap. I mention the cap color because apparently the formula varies with each cap color, which I don't completely understand but that seems to be the case. The first time I tried this it was so extremely liquidy, even after shaking well, that it spread over my skin and sank directly into my pores and lines (and only there- leaving the rest of my skin basically uncovered). It also sank into the outline of any "dry patches" I had, which is remarkably because I have very oily skin. It was so bad... the worst my skin has ever looked with any foundation. The next day, I shook the container for about two minutes straight, banging it against my other hand to mix well, and gave it 5-7 pumps until the consistency became thicker. I primed my skin well with a thicker moisturizer, which I never do because of my skin type, and this time it went on better but still accentuated any even remotely dry areas and overall looked very heavy. It was very visible sitting on top of the skin and very matte. With time, as my natural oils inevitably broke through, the foundation started to break up. It wasn't good and I wound up returning it, which is the first time I've ever returned a product. I was so disappointed because I've seen so many great reviews, but I REALLY think your experience and the formulation varies depending on that cap color. For me, the purple cap was a disaster.
Not For Dry Skin
Noah from Chicago, IL
I so wanted to love this foundation. The claims were promising, as was the thin consistency and high coverage I observed when I sampled it. Alas, it doesn't last more than two hours on me without creasing and cracking, no matter what I do. I've tried different primers, lotions, and oils, sponges and brushes - every trick in my kit - but soon after setting my face I notice creases around my mouth, nose, and forehead that continue to crumble and spread throughout the day. It clings to dry patches and breaks up so bad it looks like I have white cheetah print on my face after 5 hours.
Aside from those mobile areas and some particularly chronically dry places, this formula wears fabulously on the rest of my skin. I just wish it looked good on my entire face. I decided to keep it to wear as a body makeup for when I want to blend out tan lines or downplay irritation from shaving - the thin consistency of this formula is perfect for buffing onto the body - but I won't be repurchasing.
I wanted to love it
AK from Philadelphia, PA
This foundation got such glowing reviews from some YouTubers I watch, so I was really excited to try it. Unfortunately, it just wasn't for me. I gave it 2 stars because it does provide good coverage. However, it settled into my fine lines almost immediately. On my forehead was the worst, I had 2 lines of foundation right in my creases. I have never had it look that bad with another foundation I have used. It also was patchy in places, especially around my nose. I tried it multiple ways, with multiple moisturizers and powders. I just couldn't make it look nice and stay well on my skin. Sadly, I ended up returning it.
doesn't work for me

I really wanted to love this, it accentuated my dry spots & broke apart in others.

I'm not a huge fan at all it does nothing special.. nothing about this foundation is memorable and makes me what to grab for it. the undertone was very off and too red; nothing about it was neutral. The coverage was okay from what I remember.
Aaliyah from California
It's a thin formula so don't even feel it on the skin. Very buildable! It's lasts 8+ hours, I'm an essential worker and the coverage doesn't rub off with a mask. I have combination skin so only my T-ZONE gets oils and nothing break through. If your on the drier side I recommend to make sure you moisturize it can get a touch dry. I love this foundation! Holy grail for me!
I don't like it

It streaks and oils up way too quick

this foundation accentuates my dry spots which is saying something as I have oily skin. it's also extremely liquidy and has an odd smell. will be returning, unfortunately. it looks really pretty on the spots where I am not dry so that's why there's three stars. so definitely use a hydrating primer first I would say!
Dang good foundation

I was excited to support a black owned brand and the hype over this foundation made me want to try it. The breakdown of their shades is awesome!!! First pick online was a winner for me which almost never happens. My only critique is it seems to be very liquidy, and I do shake it vigorously. I don't think it takes away from the quality just a heads up. I have to wear a mask at work ALL day and while there is transfer bc it's pretty impossible not to have that, this foundation has the least amount of transfer. It's not heavy or cakey. It doesn't settle into the fine lines on my face. It looks like my natural skin just better. I will definitely buy again and recommend this to my friends.

I feel like this foundation is the one i've been looking for . medium buildable coverage with a beautiful finish . love it !
My new go to foundation
Hannah A from MI
I have very cool toned fair skin. I usually have to buy either very expensive foundation or color correct cheaper ones to better match me. I bought the lightest shade (white pearl) and this is the first foundation to match me right out of the bottle. If you have the fairest of skin this is a must have! I have never seen a foundation range this affordable go this light. It blends nicely and sits very well on the skin. The finish is matte without being being overly textured. My only complaints are that the foundation did crease in my under eye area and I found it only stopped with setting powder. Secondly, This foundation is sold as "medium- buildable" which I found wasn't the case. It's really only medium coverage.
Peach from USA
I have to use a primer with this foundation. It does not apply smoothly for me and I've found that I have to rub it between my fingers and blend in by hand. If I use a beauty blender it applies in patches and doesn't stick to my nose at ALL. I really wanted to love this but I'll be finishing the bottle and never purchasing again. Undertone is also too yellow (T1N), I was hoping this would be a good dupe for the discontinued UD Naked foundation but I guess my search continues.
You can see it on the skin

I have dry skin that gets oily in the T-zone and I purchased white pearl T2N. The color is off but it was hard to tell online- it's way too yellow and dark, and I would probably need the lightest coolest shade in this foundation, so a true porcelain skin might not find their shade here. I agree with other reviewers to shake it. If you don't, it's an oily slippery mess. I apply it with a dry beauty blender and get full, matte coverage. It doesn't look great, it shows a lot of texture and it's not long lasting. Sort of a drug store quality foundation IMO. Wish it worked better for me!
Chief Keish from Columbus, OH
First, this foundation is not soft matte. It's very oily as soon as I put it on my face, and no amount of powder was helping. It would not set! Also, the undertone was just horrendous. I got the shade T2W and it was very orange. The only thing that saved it was my concealer and bronzer. It's getting returned.
Ley's Mom from Alabama
The only thing I wasn't prepared for was for it to be watery but when I saw the coverage, I was completely fine with it bc it means I dont have to use as much to cover my face and neck and it makes it feel weightless even after lotion and primer and even my coworkers are asking me what I've done differently!
I DO NOT SAY THIS LIGHTLY..HOLY GRAIL

Listen, I have over 40 foundations and once this heaven-sent formula came in the mail, I dont even want to use anything other than it. Its wonderful, just wonderful. Stays on all day and makes my skin look SO GOOD. I have also noticed that my skin without makeup just looks healthier. Never discontinue this!
Really love this foundation! buuut...
ALS from Auburn, CA
I love this foundation, i completely guessed what color I would be and it's a pretty close match (since I was ordering from online). The wearability is good as well, and it's really a pretty foundation overall. I get blackheads and acne from most foundation no matter what I use to take it off at the end of the day, but this foundation seems to not contribute to that as well. The downside is it's already started to oxidize. I wear it daily so I am not sure why it's aging so quickly. I try to not over or under use product. I might try this product again since I like it so much, but if the next bottle oxidizes as fast I will feel like it's a waste of product for the price. 🤷♀️
