 Sandalwood & Sage Soothing Face Wash

I love the delicate scent of this face wash, it takes me back to a spa treatment I had a few years ago. This cleanser is very gentle on my skin. I have also tried the blue bottle of the same brand. They are both really good but I prefer the sandalwood, definitely worth it to try them both!

did not find this to be soothing at all, made my skin red, dry and flakey. fragrance too strong

The cleasnser in itself is amazing. But the fragance is WAY TOO STRONG. Wouldve been 5 stars if it wasnt for the intense smell

I first stumbled across this face wash as I was looking for a gentle creamy cleanser, per the advisement of my esthetician after a microneedling session. The price point was within my budget and offered a good amount of product, and it's advertisment of being soothing and calming seemed like what I needed. I also enjoyed that the ingredients are clean. Effectiveness: First and foremost, I must say that the Urban Veda Sandalwood and Sage Soothing Face Wash lives up to its claims. I have struggled with redness and occasional breakouts for many years, and this face wash has truly made a difference. This works wonders in reducing redness and calming any inflammation on my skin. After using this face wash for a few days in both AM/PM, I noticed a significant improvement in the overall appearance of my skin. The redness had visibly reduced, my acne breakouts were less frequent, and my face felt incredibly smooth and soft, especially under my jawline/chin where my skin felt like sandpaper. The texture and tone of my skin has never looked so great. One night in the shower, I decided to use this as a body wash for my "bacne" that I have had since I was a preteen (I'm 28 now), and afterwards applied Palmer's coco butter body lotion, and the next morning my back not only felt smooth and hydrated, but the bacne was reduced by almost half! Making the price even more worth it, as I can use this for more than just my face/neck. Texture and Feel: Apart from its effectiveness, the formula is gentle and creamy, it lathers well and leaves a refreshing and truly clean sensation on the skin. Unlike some other face washes that can leave the skin feeling dry and tight, this leaves my skin feeling hydrated and nourished. It does not strip away the natural oils from my face, which is a huge plus, as my skin errs on the side of dry. Scent: The scent of this face wash is another aspect that I absolutely love. Although rather strongly scented, it has a soothing and earthy aroma that instantly relaxes the senses. It adds a touch of luxury to my skincare routine and makes the whole experience more enjoyable. The scent is not overpowering for me personally, I find it to be calming. I can imagine that this scent could be an absolute no-go for picky or sensitive noses though. Conclusion: This face Wash has become a staple in my skincare routine. Its ability to reduce redness and acne, while leaving my skin feeling smooth, soft, and nourished, has truly impressed me. The gentle formula, delightful scent, and practical packaging make it a standout product in the market. If you are looking for a face wash that delivers on its promises and provides a luxurious experience, I highly recommend giving the Urban Veda Sandalwood and Sage Soothing Face Wash a try. Does make washing my face seem more of a ritual. Love the scent. Leaves skin clean and feeling nice. Does light exfoliation with my cleanser pads. Not over done.
