They were cute but also kind of a pain to apply

These nails were pretty nice but had some very obvious downfalls (but I wouldn't call them deal breakers). To start with the good: The magnetic design is super pretty and the red is a very nice, not-too-orange, not-too-purple red. Like a true red. I wore them around Christmas time and they were s...uper festive while also feeling elevated. The thickness of the nails is enough to hold up to daily wear and tear and they never bent at all. The polish was sturdy as well and I only had minimal chipping on one nail at the time of removal. Speaking of removal, I kinda just let them come off when they wanted to. My nail sometimes don't play nice with nail glue, so I was psyched that they lasted about 1.5 weeks. I can imagine they would stay on someone else for 2+ weeks. The nail glue was also pretty nice and it left my nails in a better state than most other nail glue that I've tried. Now for the bad: Why do these brands keep including glue tabs if the glue tabs never work. Like I really wanted to give the tabs the benefit of doubt and tried them. They didn't last 12 hours before I had to use the nail glue. It's just incredibly annoying. Make actually functional glue tabs please! The nails had a really interestingly flat nail bed shape. Like the top of the small nails were all like the top of a thumb. I honestly was getting confused as to what was the top and the bottom and had to consult the tray while putting them on. Thank goodness for the 'try on' tray lol. This weird shaping made it pretty hard to get a good fit. There were also a ton of tiny sizes and not as many medium sizes so that made fitting hard too. Last point for the bad, is the length. I wanted short length nails and these were supposed to be short length nails. Due to the issues with sizes and shape, they were longer than I was expecting and hoping for. There also has to be a better way to apply nails as short as these. I got so many glue fingerprints over the nails while trying to put them in place because there just wasn't a good way to go about it. Maybe they could make an applictator or something? It could take the place of those useless glue tabs in the box. All together, they looked really nice (minus the giant glue fingerprints and weird shaping) and I would apply them again (because they made me feel pretty, it would be worth the hassle).
