2 years, still love mine. I love antique vanities but struggled with lighting till I got this Riki Skinny. I use it on top of a makeup storage box I already use on top of my vanity, elevating helps for a better view/use & I'm a bit taller so it definitely makes a difference for me. I even use it to do photos, videos, rather convenient vs. ring light & great when on the go & just need this lil guy for light, makeup and photo/film. The phone holder holds my large phone well. (I know Riki Loves Riki sells a few options to stick your mirror to another mirror or elevate so removable stand is also great for versatility) I sometimes do elaborate make-up and use this on battery for many hours. It's battery life has gone down, but not too bad till I hit about two years did I start noticing the reduced charge hold. Practicing proper/conservative recharging (like not leaving plugged in when unneeded using full cycles etc like any other re-chargeable item) can help extend it but after 2 years I am noticing it and moving towards leaving it plugged in. Still even plugged in simple, easy, and I can tuck away in the vanity drawer quickly to keep my antique vanity looking more period appropriate.
GREAT AT FIRST; BATTERY DETERIORATES AFTER YEAR; STAND SLIPS I'm probably the only reviewer who has fully used this for 1 year on a daily basis. It was GREAT at first--adjustable brightness, magnetic zoom mirror accessory that I still use, rechargeable, mirror is a great size if you want large.
The cons though are HUGE and must be called out. The battery is rechargeable, but similar to my Apple iPad and iPhone, it has a short shelf life the more you charge it. Over time, the battery deteriorates and it will be less and less time between the time you have to recharge again. After awhile, I would have to recharge every 2-3 days, and the battery would drain very quickly.
For the price, the stand is incredibly bad and flimsy. It no longer stands straight, it slips, and I have to basically wedge it between candles to keep it up. I tried installing sand paper, grips, ANYTHING, but nothing works.
At this point, it won't even charge at all and I recently (as in 2 days ago, about a year after I purchased new), it has gone straight into the garbage. What a waste. I mean, I used it everyday, but know that this is a big investment for something that cannot be fixed later on.

The actual mirror is really good quality. I've had mine 6 months and it works well. The stand it comes with is not the best. So I went searching the Riki website for accessories. Deciding I wasn't going to splash out the really high prices for Riki brand accessories, I found a great adjustable tablet/cellphone stand that works great as a mirror stand and a sturdy 15"x11" makeup case for travelling with the Riki Skinny. Ukta is definitely the best place to buy your Riki Skinny.

Terrible lighting! White light, bright white light, and blindingly bright white light are the three options on this mirror. I love that it's rechargeable and it looks really nice on my vanity, but the lighting is an abomination.
I gave it two stars, though; 1 star because it is very well-made and felt solid but lightweight and 1 star because it was extremely well-packaged.
Don't worth it 3

Too much money for a mirror that doesn't charge anymore after a year

I like the mirror and use it daily but it's NOT quality, especially considering the high price. The adjustable stand already broke and I don't think I can justify purchasing the one on the website because 1. its expensive and 2. I don't have high hopes that this mirror will last very long. It would be an awesome mirror if the materials weren't so cheap and flimsy.
