Okay, has a meemaw smell kinda though.

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] So okay, Fenty is notorious for having terrible smelling products IMO and I was not expecting much with this in the way of actually liking the scent because I HATED the fenty perfume. Even the other one that was supposed to smell better was ...horrible. And every beauty product I've gotten besides the foundation has had a scent as well. So for this to actually smell good was a long shot. But all that to say - it does smell okay. It's definitely more palatable than most of her scents but it does lean heavier on the floral side. Which is fine it's supposed to smell like vanilla flowers, so having a bit of floral In it is fine, but the after scent is more floral than vanilla which is not what I would personally prefer. And the after scent it leave its horrible, but it does remind me of someone's meemaw more than a luxurious bathing experience. The bubbles? Idk for a bubble bath I didn't see much remarkable about the bubbliness of it. It didn't bubble up much more than even my dish soap does (I would say maybe 1x the amount of my gain dish soap in a side by side I did) so that was honestly kind of a let down. I was expecting it to flow out of my bathtub like you'd see in cartoons or something and it just kind of bubbled like a normal body wash would. Which may just be my over inflated expectations but for the price I would expect a lot of bubble and an amazing smell! The formula is okay. It's thick and has that shimmer to it but the shimmer doesn't stay on your skin, I'm not sure if I was let down or happy about that. I guess more happy but a little bit of a leftover glow wouldn't have been the worst thing in the world I don't think. But I get it sensitive areas and stuff. It left my skin feeling clean and didn't leave a residue but honestly it kind of dried it out a lot too. I figured it would be more moisturizing as a bubble bath bc it's supposed to be a treat but there's not really any oils or anything in it to make your skin feel smooth and silky after you get out. Which is nice if you just want to get out and go I suppose. They sent out an email telling us about the weird wavy bottom piece they added. I guess they realized it looked dumb without it or didn't sit in the shower well or something but it kind of seems unnecessary and if you keep your product in the shower it will gather mold and mildew in that little bottom piece area. I do like the top, the flippy cap is nice and the hole is extra wide so you caN pour a lot out at once. And don't have to squeeze a million times to get the amount you need so that was a pleasant surprise. All in all it was okay. I don't know that I would repurchase it as it is just kinda of okay. If you like the scent it has it'll definitely be worth it to repurchase as it is an okay bubble bath. But I don't know that I'd be waiting in line and clamoring for it. Unless you're looking for that meemaw smell in which case you found the right one here!
