How To Use

Apply liberally 15 minutes before sun exposure. Use a water resistant sunscreen if swimming or sweating. Reapply at least every 2 hours. For a complete skin care regimen, use Cetaphil Redness Relief Foam wash before applying and Cetaphil Redness Relieving Night Moisturizer at night.

Thinner Than Foundation, Thicker Than MoisturizerFor those that don't want to appear heavily made up, this is a happy medium above light BB creams and below heavier foundations. It blends well and doesn't dry out the skin, but it does give a dewey finish. While that is still trendy right now, for those who aren't as fond of looking a little too fresh from the hot outdoors, a simple translucent powder like Revlon's photoready (which does have some small shine of its own) will dim it down to a more natural look. It's a great base on its own, and offers great sun protection and skin evening/smoothing in one simple step. Also, unlike some other sunscreens of Cetaphil's, this one doesn't have a sour chemically smell or taste, should you get it a bit close to the lips. The pump requires a simultaneous squeeze of the tube to prime it the first time, but after that the pump works well, and just 2-3 pumps will be sufficient to cover the whole face.I Was Never Relieved of RednessI was looking for a moisturizer to help with my rosacea and not make my acne-prone skin break out. The only redness related ingredient, was the light tint--nothing else--but it lightly covered my rosacea and I still had to use makeup. It wore off by the end of my workout, and it did nothing for my redness when I tried to wear it under my makeup at work or throughout the day. It does contain SPF but has silica as an ingredient not shown when I purchased the item online.

This needs to be talked about more! It's a really great moisturizer and the slight tint makes my skin look flawless. I use it in conjunction with Cetaphil liquid mineral face sunscreen (also a fantastic product). This is my holy grail combo.

I am really pale and it was definitely not my color. Though besides that I felt it was pretty decent, it absorbed pretty well though I do feel like it sweated off pretty fast.

I'm super pale and this moisturizer was too dark. So if you're ghostly pale, probably skip this one. For what it's worth, it did take away the redness. However, my face was super orange.
