I don't know if maybe this depends on which color you get? I got the "blush" elastics, and it takes exactly one use to stretch them out. They're still useable for casual wear (not for anything that would test their hold, but they're fine for running errands), but honestly, I was disappointed to find...

Cute but really bad quality for the price...
Initially I got these because I like wide seamless elastics and they are easily removed too. But, after only one use mine are shedding plastic strands!! Considering the fact that they're pretty expensive I was disappointed by this fact. I can't return them because I bought them in store over a month ago. I've only had these for a few days, but they are by far the best hair ties I've ever owned. I have curly hair and these definitely seem to keep the shape of my curls in tact more than other hair ties. I also just love the feel of the material.

I got these electrics and really didn't expect much from them. I was pleasantly surprised when I tried them and found out that they don't pull my hair or leave me with a scalp pain after I take them out. The only issue I have is my daughter has tried them and now I have to share.
