Apply daily on cleansed face, eye area and neck. Smooth 4-5 drops of serum evenly in gentle massaging strokes until fully absorbed. For Retinol beginners, gradually phase into your skincare routine, working up to daily as tolerated. In the daytime, always protect skin with a Broad-Spectrum SPF 30 sunscreen or higher.
Precautions: You may experience mild redness, a warm, tingling sensation or flaking (skin exfoliation). These are normal, temporary indications that the product is working. If effects persist or cause discomfort, reduce the frequency of use until your skin adjusts, then revert to daily use as tolerated. In case of irritation, discontinue use. Avoid contact with eyes -- if it occurs, rinse well with water. Keep out of reach of children. If swallowed, seek medical assistance. Use a sunscreen and limit sun exposure while using this product. Contains retinol. If you are pregnant or considering pregnancy, consult your physician before use.

Nice but fragranced
I'm usually a big fan of Neutrogena products but as much as I like this rapid wrinkle repair retinol renewal serum I have to take stars off for the fragrance. I don't mind some fragrance in skincare but this is very perfumey. The serum itself has a nice medium light consistency and a smooth texture....

This retinol serum is a perfect addition for skin care routine. It is very gentle, perfect for beginners or pro retinol users. I have generally normal skin sometimes leaning a little on the dry side. It did not cause any irritation or dryness. It's very easy to apply and absorbs quickly, not just staying at surface level. In a short period I noticed fine lines appearing less visible. I love neutrogena products!

Overall, I like using this serum. The consistency is nice -- it's medium thickness for a serum, so thicker than water but more runny than lotion. It absorbs very quickly and only takes a minute to dry down. I did not experience any dryness or irritation while applying it, but I did always put a moisturizer on over top of it. The only thing I wasn't a huge fan of is the dropper applicator. I don't like using droppers -- I find them to be a little messy at times, and I also sometimes will forget to fully screw the top back on and end up knocking it over at some point in time. For this particular serum too, it doesn't seem like there is a good reason to put it in a dropper bottle. I think it's thick enough to put in a pump container, or maybe even a tube that had a top which restricted the amount of product that comes out at once. Overall though, decent looking packaging and nice serum that is easy on the skin.

I'm surprised at the quality of this retinol serum, it rivals more expensive brands in quality and definitely is a good value for the size and cost. Will be purchasing.

Now that I've hit my mid 30's, I've noticed that my skin is looking duller than normal and is losing a lot of glow and moisture. After using the Neutrogena Rapid Wrinkle Repair Retinal Renewal Serum every night for around a month, I've noticed so many different improvements in my skin. First and foremost, my skin looks and feels plumper and has helped to slightly fade some fine lines I was getting around my eyes. My skin looks overall healthier, smoother and more even-toned. I love how easy this is to incorporate into my skincare routine and I haven't experienced any negative side effects from using this serum. I highly recommend this to anyone who wants to rewind the clock a few years!

Neutrogena Rapid Wrinkle Repair Retinol Renewal Serum is a lightweight serum that packs a punch. I have been using it pm only for now and a small amount goes a long way. It spreads easily and absorbs easily. I feel that my skin tone feels a bit smoother in the past week since I started applying it. I love the feel of the product and how it is impacting the skin texture. Neutrogena creates great products and I love this one.
