Whenever I wash my hair, I would usually have a large body towel wrapped around my head while I get ready. It can get quite heavy and annoying while I apply on make up. But with this towel, it's so lightweight that sometimes I forget it's even there. I can get ready comfortably without worrying too much about the towel getting in the way. I love that it's also small and travel friendly!
Don't waste your money. Poor quality product that makes hair worse. I was skeptical about the rave reviews when I purchased this product, and given the high price tag thought it was too good to be true, it is. I've had car shammies that are better. Poor quality product, terrible static, pills terribly after 1 wash. I used it 3 or 4 times and hung it on a towel bar above an air conditioning vent to ensure it dried quickly, but it stinks terribly after just a few uses. I washed it several times and the smell won't come out no matter how scented the detergent is I use. The pilling is so bad after a few washes it's not longer smooth, but now rougher on my hair than a standard bath towel. It's basically plastic so creates terrible static in my fine hair. It's light weight, and will suck all the moisture out of your hair quickly, but don't leave it on for more than a few minutes or it will dry your hair out terribly and make it frizzy.

I use this towel after I comb out my hair. By using the towel, I cut my drying time from about 20 minutes with the round brush to 10 minutes with the round brush. Thrilled that the towel saves me time and also less heat on my hair. My hair is past my shoulders and for some reason seems to hold a lot of moisture. My friend got me those as a gift for my birthday. I think she is a genius for finding it.

This towel does speed up drying time and makes my hair feel softer afterwards. Happy with the purchase

I got one of these years ago in a subscription box (for the life of me I can't remember which one because I was subscribed to all of them at one point or another). I remember, at the time, thinking how boring it was to get it. Boy was I wrong! This is FAR superior to a regular bath towel for a number of reasons- it's not heavy at all so it doesn't pull on my hair like regular bath towels do because of the weight. It's super absorbent (if you're thinking it doesn't absorb very well, make sure you're not washing it with fabric softener- items that are meant to absorb need to be washed with the most basic wash and absolutely no added softeners or even fragrances or it will diminish their ability to absorb). I typically wash mine in a plain unscented wash and dry without any sort of dryer sheet and it always comes out perfectly. This towel has cut my drying time by at least half I'd say. I don't have thick hair, but I do have a lot of fine hair that holds water really well (hair dressers have told me), and this pulls most of that excess water out so that when I dry it, it's damp and not soaking wet. After owning it for years, I have finally realized I can buy another one here at Ulta so I'm buying another one so that I can switch them out without having to make sure I get it washed before the next time I wash my hair. This towel is worth it's price easily! I got my first one "free" because of a subscription box but I'm buying another one right now because it's that good and I never want to be without it!

I didn't expect a ton from this since usually these types of things don't do a ton but I was actually shocked how well this worked!!! I still dried my hair with a blow dryer after but I'd say this cut my drying time down by probably 40%! More when combined with a drying accelerant spray of some kind. But yeah overall super happy with it!!! I'd highly recommend works great 10/10 only thing I wish it had is like a loop to hold the towel end if you wrap it up and wear it as a hat thing but folding it works too so is still good.

My boss got me one of these towels almost 20 years ago for Christmas. I still use it every day and it still looks new. I wash and dry it with all my other whites. I love it and I will be getting a back up one.

I have been searching and searching for a wet brush to be used on elbow length hair. The prior 2 I purchased were absolute junk: they pulled hair off my head in clumps & left it looking way too frizzy. 😫😤 I threw those 2 away. My girlfriend recommended this #Aquis Rapid Dry Lisse Towel. This is definitely 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 for me. It's big enough for me to hold all my hair (it's right above my hips, which is a huge plus to me because it's difficult finding hair towels that are made to include long hair. It now takes me 1/2 an hour or less drying my hair and it leaves my hair looking much less frizzy.

I was so impressed with this towel. I have long thing hair, so I wanted to protect it from breakage as well as cut my drying time. This towel does both! I was very impressed after the first use.

Makes less frizz in hair.

I find that this hair towel works no better than wrapping my hair in any other kind of towel, so far as drying is concerned. I like that it is thinner/lighter weight than a body towel, because it pulls on my hair less, making it a more comfortable experience. Still, I do not feel this product does what it claims. It is good quality, aesthetically pleasing, and has a convenient hanging loop built in, but it's no miracle-worker.

I have a lot of fine, curly hair that loves to frizz and drive me crazy. This brand of towel was given to me back in the early 90's when I was going to the gym every morning before work and needed to cut down on my hair routine. It was a lifesaver then and still is to this day!
I'm SO very happy to see the towel is still on the market. In fact, now that I have children of my own (with long hair too!) I've purchased towels for them and they LOVE them too!
Point to note: those who gave poor ratings, you may not have chosen the correct towel for your hair type. For example, this particular towel is for fine hair. The waffle weave towel is for thick hair. There is a REAL difference. Please be sure you're choosing the right towel for your hair type before you give a poor review.

Works great! Sucks water out of hair and makes drying time much quicker! Kinda pricy, but glad I bought it!
Would definitely buy again!

Much less frizz in my frizzy hair

Made my hair frizzy and I just didn't feel like it did anything special.

This is the only towel I use on my hair. It goes on every trip with me. I have had short hair and very long hair. It handles it all. Cuts drying time by more than half.

I purchased this product in-store last year. I have been using it but not as often as I would like due to the upkeep this towel needs. I have long thick hair. At first, I washed the product before I used it. The pilling was obvious even tho I used a gentle cycle. I hung it out to dry and it absorbs all the smells in your room. I'm thinking its due to the fabric. I decided to put it in the dryer. No biggie. Once it was dry, I used it after my shower to get ready for work. The pro was that I was able to just wrap all my thick air and do my make up. After each use, you must hang to dry it. It really stinks after a day of drying. It is not anti-bacterial towel so it will absorb and become a stinky wet rag if you don't place it in the dryer after using it; but that is just SO ridiculous to do after every shower. Not to mention that it takes forever for this thing to hang dry. I work 12 hour shifts, 3 days straight and I hate for things to smell. It's very inconvenient after the first use. I use vinegar to take the stink off when I wash it. It is not a very good product at all. It needs a large product overhaul like add an antimicrobial material to diminish the stink after a day or two of hang-drying it.

My sister and I love this towel which is why I purchased another one. Regular bath towels rough-ride your hair which is why it is important to use something that will treat your precious strands with care. A definite for those who need a more gentle approach to their hair (ex: I have fine hair which splits/frizzies easily).

I neeeever write reviews but this thing is too good not to. I'm Mexican/Italian. Long thick hair and I love showering at night. My mom gets on my case about sleeping with wet hair so I wanted to make an effort to dry it before bed (mainly for her) and so I got this towel thinking it was overpriced but the reviews had me sold and I thought I'd give it a shot. And let me tell ya, I might have to get another just because the colors are so dang pretty. I put my hair in this right after the shower and let it sit on my head for like 20 minutes, sometimes less. And I immediately feel a difference in how much water the towel has soaked and how much drier my hair feels. Love love love it
Lauren from Madison, Wisconsin
This towel is very nice, and large enough for long thick hair like mine, which was kind of shocking. It's extremely lightweight so sometimes my hair knocks it loose but I'm getting the hang of it. Way less tugging than a bath towel is, so I'm sure it helps with breakage. My only real con is how pricey it is for a small towel. There was no price tag at Ulta so I just checked out without knowing, figuring at most it would be $15... I was shocked when my total was so high, to figure out the towel was the culprit. Oh well. Seems as though half the cost is in the very nice packaging.

As a towel-turban goes, this is OK. It functions adequately as a substitute for using a regular towel to wrap around you hair, but that's all it does. It does not help dry my hair faster than a towel or letting my hair dry uncovered.

This towel dries my hair so much better than your average towel. Very impressed
Hannah from Saint Joseph, MO
I have used this towel for months now, and it is so convenient! I love that it is the perfect size for my head (no more big heavy towel falling off), and it is also so much better for my hair! My hair dries very fast, and I've noticed less frizz.
Chrissy from Chicago, IL
I love this hair turban. Prior to using it, I hated how my hair would drip before it got dry. Using a normal towel to dry it causes a lot of breakage, and I had been told not to put my hair up in a turban with a normal towel. I felt like I could never get my back totally dry right after the shower, and it was actually giving me dry skin/ making my back itch.
This turban is definitely a game-changer. It's very easy to use- I was worried it was going to be over-engineered but it's SO simple. It really stays out too, which is important. No loose hairs falling out. My hair dries faster, and I don't have to deal with the annoying drips. I'm so happy I bought it!

I absolutely love this hair towel! It has been a complete game changer! I have very long (sits at my lower back) full hair and this towel has cut my drying time significantly. I am done drying and styling my hair in 30 minutes compared to the hour and 15-30 min before. I will not Dry my hair any other way now.
