Swivel eyeliner up only 1/8-inch (pencil doesn't automatically retract, and too much exposure to air can dry it out.) Line eyes. Use smudging tool on opposite end to get desired effect. Allow color to set for 60 seconds to ensure transfer-resistance. Recap securely to protect from drying out.

Now, within the past year or so, it will break off with very little pressure, sometimes before you hardly get it to your eye, and you end up with hardly any product left after a very short period of time. This eyeliner goes on easily. It does not tug at the skin at all. The slate is a versatile color. I have purchased it several times and prefer over other prestige brands

This is a terrible product! It doesn't advance or retract properly. Such a waste of money. Clinique doesn't care about their customers at all or they would have done something about this years ago. These people are crooks!

I am so frustrated with this product. This is the second time that it stopped working and I was unable to twist it to get more product. I had just opened it! Customer service does not care. They won't help with a refund or anything because it's been more than 30 days. I see I'm not the only one that has dealt with this either. These people are crooks!

WARNING: You're buying just what you see!!! There's no more pencil makeup below what you can see in the pencil. In other words, you're buying makeup that might last a month.

I am 66 years old and have extremely sensitive eyes. I've tried so many eyeliners only to be disappointed time and time again. As a woman that has been wearing makeup since I was a teen, I've been very disheartened to realize that I may not be able to wear eye makeup again. I went to my AI app, and lo and behold, it recommended Clinique and it was right! I am so thankful for your products. My only regret is that I didn't find you sooner.
