Exactly what I have been waiting for I was a little leery to try this, but it was love at first use. I need something to wear just around the house to cover the brown spots, redness, and some other facial skin issues I have been having due to side effects of a certain medication I am taking. This is exactly what I need! I have such oily skin--this helps combat that--and it gets rid of the redness and helps hide the spots, all in one. Just one little drop goes on my face at the beginning of the day, and voila! My skin looks better throughout the day, without having to put on primer, then foundation, then mineral veil. I cannot wait to use the product during the summer months. Thank you for this! Please keep this product in stock! Now, if only you will bring back Poof for Lips, I would be so happy. (I am allergic to all of your lip products right now, which either contain fragrance or plumping ingredients.) Poof was made up of only 3 ingredients and I have found nothing like it on the market. Bring back Poof! :)
Did You Forget About The Dark Complexions? :( I am a new member of the Bare Minerals family. I have adult acne prone skin that I was able to get under control with the help of my fabulous dermatologist Dr. Dans in San Francisco! It was his suggestion that I use Bare Minerals products if I were going to use any make up at all.
On my second visit to the Bare Mineral Boutique, I racked up just about $300.00 worth of products! That should tell you how much I LOVE this stuff. I particularly have an obsession with the foundation and finishing products. As a black woman, I was so happy to see that there are options for women of color. Due to the wide range of ethnic backgrounds black people are made up of, we range in many colors all over the charts from almost white to ebony chocolate! I was happy to purchase my daughter light products for her fair skin, and tan products for my golden brown complexion.
I was REALLY excited to try out the Prime Time BB Primer, because I'm not really a foundation junky, unless I'm going out for the night. I was eager, to find a prodcut that moisturized without clogging pores, and provide minimal coverage for blemishes, with broad spectrum SPF protection. Although I'm a darker complexion, broad spectrum is important to me, to prevent hyper-pigmentation of my risidual acne blemishes. I just wanted something that I can slap on in the morning, and add a little lip gloss & go!
Well, I tried the Prime Time BB Primer on in medium, and it slightly matched my complexion, but was just a tad bit too light. It kind of made my skin look ashy. I was really dissapointed. Especially considering all of the wonderful colors the foundations come in, that range all over the board from very light to very dark. I thought, what happened here?
Many people say that the darker you are, the less sun protection is needed, due to the natural high production of melanin in people with darker complexions. This may be true, but I particularly need protection to keep my acne scars from gettin worse.
I can only imagine that it would'nt be cost effective to create a primer in every shade, but I think there should at least be a LIGHT, MEDIUM & DARK.
I'd love to give this five hearts, but I'm sad that I cant use the product, and my complexion has been left out of the equation. :(

This product is amazing, and the SPF 30 protection is an added bonus. This BB Primer Cream smooths out my completion and helps the foundation go on smooth and flawless....love it

I hope the Light shade becomes available again - this BB Primer is such a fabulous multitasker. I apply after skin care, and I love that I can wear it alone, under liquid or mineral foundation, or just top it off with finishing powder alone. It blurs and provides sheer coverage and sun protection but does not contain any glitter so my complexion looks velvety and smooth. If I want more radiance I can add strategic highlights which works better for my aging skin than all-over shimmer. Crossing my fingers that I will still be able to get this great primer - I haven't found anything else like it.

I don't know if the primer is bad or if what they sent me was bad. This is so thick it can't come up through the pump. You have to open it and use a qtip. It has a strong scent and makes me break out. When applied it is thick and greasy. It never does down, no matter how long i wait. Foundation gets nasty within the hour.
